Dorchester

Ten hotels. Endless ways of wonderful.
From The Dorchester in London to The Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles, ten extraordinary hotels share one rare feeling, a sense of grace, a certain way of life.
Each has been chosen by Dorchester Collection for its singular spirit. These are places where extraordinary individuals gather, ideas ignite, and legacies take shape. Wherever you stay, something exquisite always meets you there.
Dorchester Collection. The setting changes. The feeling never does.
A Destination of Distinction
In a city that continually redefines the possible, Marasi Bay by OMNIYAT rises as Dubai’s most distinguished waterfront destination. Set within the Burj Khalifa District, where skyline and water meet in perfect harmony, Marasi Bay is envisioned as a place of culture, lifestyle, and legacy.
At the heart of this vision is VELA Viento, Dorchester Collection, Dubai. A soaring 180-metre masterpiece of flowing lines and sculpted curves, VELA Viento is conceived as a realm above the ordinary. Designed by Foster + Partners with interiors by Gilles & Boissier, each of its 95 residences overlook cinematic views of Burj Khalifa, Downtown Dubai, and Marasi Bay.
Life at VELA Viento is shaped by beauty and possibility. Grand terraces and private pools expand into the horizon, while select residences feature suspended living spaces that create ethereal daily

moments. At over 100 metres high, the Sky Amenities Deck is an elevated sanctuary with an infinity pool, double-height gym, and yoga studio.
Beyond its walls, Marasi Bay reveals a vibrant waterfront lifestyle exclusive to residents, from a floating island with a private jetty and yoga terraces, to a marina yacht club and padel court. Residents enjoy privileges across neighbouring OMNIYAT landmarks, from Michelin-starred dining at The Lana, Dorchester Collection, Dubai, and the urban beach club on Marasi Bay Island, to the amenities of sister property VELA, Dorchester Collection, Dubai.
For two decades, OMNIYAT has shaped Dubai’s skyline with icons of architecture and artistry. With VELA Viento, it continues this legacy, bringing together the world’s most celebrated minds to create not just a residence, but a new chapter in urban waterfront living.

“The true voyage of discovery,” wrote Marcel Proust, “is not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes.” With this spirit, this issue invites you on a journey of imagination—an invitation for curiosity, to look more closely, to see differently, and to uncover the extraordinary in what surrounds us.
At Dorchester Collection, rediscovery reveals itself in many forms: a timeless dish reinvented by the hand of a master chef, a hidden courtyard or quiet street discovered in a beloved city, or the transformation of familiar spaces—restaurants, spas, salons—through inspired design. Art, too, flourishes both within and beyond our hotels this season. Some exhibitions dare us with bold contemporary visions, while others return us to iconic masterpieces and eras, reframed with fresh insight.
Whether you are returning to a cherished destination or setting foot in a city for the first time, there is always more to be seen, more to be felt, and more to be discovered.

A word from
Philippe Lebœuf
With each new role comes moments of discovery. Since joining Dorchester Collection in June, I have been experiencing our hotels with fresh eyes, and with each visit I am struck anew by their extraordinary character. From The Dorchester’s timeless elegance to the Hollywood glow of The Beverly Hills Hotel, each property reveals itself as more than a building. They are living worlds, brimming with stories, shaped by remarkable guests and dedicated teams who care for them with devotion. To see this with a sense of newness has been a joy, deepening my pride to lead this collection into its next chapter.
Dorchester Collection is often described as a mark of distinction, and I believe that distinction lies in the way our hotels create space for connection, imagination, and belonging. They are cultural landmarks, yes, but they are also where the multitudes of life unfold with warmth and grace. It is this consistency of spirit, across very different hotels, that makes Dorchester Collection so rare.
As I have travelled from city to city these past months, I have been inspired not only by the architecture and history, but above all by the people who animate them. Our guests bring energy, vision, and perspective. They are artists and innovators, leaders and families, travellers who embody a truly unique outlook. Their presence transforms our hotels into global stages where extraordinary moments play out. The story is never ours alone to tell. It is co-created with each person who walks through our doors.
You will find later in this issue an article about Ways of Wonderful, our most recent global campaign. For me, this campaign captures perfectly what makes Dorchester Collection distinct. The imagery may be cinematic, but at its core it is simple: the guest is always the centre of the story. Whether it’s that first, breath-taking glimpse of The Lana in Dubai, the sweeping drive through the meadow to the doors of Coworth Park, or stepping into the shining lobby of Hotel Principe di Savoia, each arrival may look different, but the emotion is constant. The campaign is a love letter to our guests, celebrating the rhythm, energy, and joy they bring with them.

pany. Two new htels, in Dubai and Tokyo, are under construction. Across all properties, our teams contiue to create fresh experiences: new culinary directions, renewed spas, and cultural partnerships that celebrate heritage
As the year draws to a close, I feel immense gratitude for the legacy I have inherited, for the teams who bring it to life, and for the guests whose presence makes it meaningful. Dorchester Collection is not just a group of hotels. It is a way of life, lived beautifully and shared generously. It is a world reserved for the remarkable, and I am honoured to be part of it.
Here’s to new experiences, enduring connections, and to the delighful discoveries that await wherever you next encounter Dorchester Collection.
Warmest regards,

Philippe Lebœuf, CEO of Dorchester Collection

Stefano Ricci Expands its World of Craftsmanship

With the acquisition of Moleria Locchi, founded in the 19th century as a workshop for glass and crystal and relaunched in 1964, Stefano Ricci S.p.A. broadens its vision for the future, further strengthening its roots in the world of artistic craftsmanship. Founded in 1972 by Florentine designer Stefano Ricci as a handmade tie workshop, the company has always stood out for its high level of artisanal manufacturing. From its earliest collections, it gradually expanded to include bespoke shirts and leather goods, always in keeping with Tuscany’s great artisan tradition. Today, the production capabilities of the in-house tailoring department are considered the epitome of 100% Made in Italy global menswear. The headquarters in Caldine also encompass the production of jewellery accessories (such as precious buckles and cufflinks) and silverware, crafted using repoussé and chiselling techniques to create small masterpieces of authentic craftsmanship. Since 2009, Stefano Ricci has overseen the Antico Setificio Fiorentino, which has operated continuously since 1786 using 18th-century mechanical and semi-mechanical looms to produce furnishing fabrics for institutions, royal households and unique projects. This investment has helped revive a tradition that was otherwise at risk of disappearing. The recent acquisition of Moleria Locchi is part of a wider strategy to protect and preserve ancient artisanal know-how, integrating glass and crystal craftsmanship (already featured in the brand’s lifestyle collections for over a decade) with the aim of projecting these elements of the art of the table into the future. This is further enhanced by SR Home, which also includes porcelain sets made in local artisan workshops.

Ways of Wonderful
The pages of this edition of Collect Magazine include a look at Dorchester Collection’s recent global campaign, Ways of Wonderful. Set across the ten hotels, it showcases varying expressions of a similar moment felt in unique ways across all of our hotels. All different, but all equally wonderful. In its simplest form, the campaign is a love letter to you, our guests.

From its very first concept, Ways of Wonderful was a campaign built around the extraordinary people who choose to stay in our hotels. The spirit of Dorchester Collection has never relied on a blueprint for form or purpose. It’s grown entirely through relationships, through observation, and through a deep understanding of what matters to our guests.
Our guests are artists and advocates. Founders and families. Rebels and royalty. You arrive with different languages, different stories, different ways of seeing the world. And yet you share something rare. We feel it in the change of energy in a room. We see it in the creativity, the fresh points of view. You bring us your ideas, your pace, and your unique voice, and the hotel responds in kind. In many ways, you are the muse behind everything we do.
At Dorchester Collection, our guests have always guided our journey and our decisions. And to stay close to that understanding, we listen. Not just through surveys or sales data, but through real conversation. With the help of an empathic and skilled anthropologist, we speak regularly to guests about how they live, what they love, and what luxury means to them today. And these insights have shaped how we think, how we serve, and how we evolve. We know you lead busy lives that contain multitudes. We know your time is valuable, your days are full and your schedules need to be supported, not interrupted. We know when you need our attention and when you need space. These are the foundations on which we build. By staying true to this, we remain connected to the emotional needs of our guests, knowing that these are where we continue to transcend the whims of time or trend.
In Ways of Wonderful, we explore a series of themes that mark key moments for our guests: arrival, transformation, connection, celebration. Each is shown in a different way at each hotel. What it means to celebrate, for example,
looks one way at Hôtel Plaza Athénée, and another at The Beverly Hills Hotel. But the emotion underneath is the same. That’s the key. Consistency without uniformity. Individuality without disconnect.
Dorchester Collection is described as ‘the mark of distinction for the world’s most extraordinary hotels and residences.’ This distinction is about presence. It’s a philosophy of attention, felt in the details: the preparation before you arrive, the room that feels made just for you, the rhythm of a perfectly paced evening, where everything happens without the need to ask. It’s within this sense of belonging and possibility that endless ways of wonderful can unfold with ease.
This is no coincidence. It’s culture. At Dorchester Collection, we’ve built our identity not as a chain, but as a collective of character. Each of our remarkable hotels has its own voice, its own character, its own pulse. But the through-line is emotional intelligence. A kind of sixth sense that our teams carry with grace.
And so, whilst the campaign images are cinematic and elevated, their message is simple. Our hotels are not the story. You are. We often talk about Dorchester Collection hotels existing in a category of one, and this is true, but that category isn’t made of bricks and mortar. It’s made from the calibre of people who stay within them. Visionaries. Tastemakers. Icons in the making. What sets our hotels apart isn’t just the design or the location. It’s the quality of the conversations in the bar. The brilliance gathered around the table. The singular guests who bring each space to life and give it meaning. You don’t just stay in our hotels. You define them.
Thank you for continuing to shape the world of Dorchester Collection. Wherever you go next, we trust that something exquisite will meet you there.

Each cake is nuanced with flavours unfolding at every layer, while seasonal arrangements echo their lushness and richness. The sweetness continues at The Promenade where mornings are graced with an irresistible selection of pastries for breakfast

Rome
Coralla Maiuri’s porcelain tableware collaboration with Hotel Eden is inspired by Rome and its vibrant colours. “The rooms at Hotel Eden remind me of the mosaic floors at Villa Jovis, so much history in the details. It’s the kind of place where my parents could have stayed: classic yet modern. I have been trusted to create this collection, which blends the past and the future seamlessly. Like the hotel, I don’t chase trends; I just follow what feels authentic to me. It was like a meeting of two energies that strengthened each other.”
