A word from Dorchester Collection’s CEOs
At Dorchester Collection, our aim is to create unforgettable moments, continually innovating to craft experiences that leave a lasting impression. As the world watched in awe as the Paris 2024 Olympic Games played on, our Parisian hotels, Le Meurice and Hôtel Plaza Athénée, celebrated with a series of sports-themed events. Le Meurice collaborated with brand Walk in Paris for a limited-edition athleisure collection; with sports magazine, L’Équipe for a photographic exhibition; and with street artist Raphaël Gindt for sports-themed artworks. Meanwhile, Hôtel Plaza Athénée collaborated with renowned photographer Mathieu Forget for an exhibition featuring prominent French athletes. As we reflect on the 2024 Paris Games, we also look forward to the upcoming Milan/Cortina 2026 Olympics where we have the Principe di Savoia and the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles which has Hotel Bel-Air and The Beverly Hills Hotel. Each of these events underscore our deep connection to the vibrant cultures and happenings of the cities we inhabit.
Our commitment to creating exceptional experiences is exemplified by the remarkable success of The Lana in Dubai, which is looking forward to celebrating its first anniversary in February 2025. As our inaugural hotel in the Middle East and the first newly constructed property in our collection, The Lana has garnered enthusiastic praise from discerning guests. Looking forward, we are excited to mark another important milestone for Dorchester Collection as we proudly unveil plans for The Alba, set to rise on Dubai’s iconic Palm Jumeirah. Envisioned in partnership with OMNIYAT, The Alba will represent the perfect fusion of Zaha Hadid Architects’ visionary design and our legendary dedication to luxury and service.
