The heavy-duty geared hinge is built to hold a door up to 300 pounds. It is suitable for medium to high traffic openings. Our models are suitable for aluminum storefront retrofit where an offset pivot or butt hinge package will no longer work. Standard through bolt mounting and secure molding on all DCM Geared hinges. Door Controls Manufactured full-length geared hinge is designed to provide superior performance and durability in high traffic areas. It is constructed from high-grade aluminum and the bushing allows for even distribution along the spine of the hinge. Our geared hinge is only offered in a heavy-duty version because added security and durability should never cost you more. The 83" Geared Hinge is standard and 95" is also available in aluminum and dark bronze.
