Welcome to the Donnybrook Fair Christmas brochure. To many, this will be a Christmas like no other before. The last few months have been filled with uncertainty, with everyone having to do their part to ensure friends, family and loved ones stay well and safe. It’s only natural that we want to share these special times together, so our mission is to make sure that when the whole family is together under one roof, you’re able to celebrate Christmas in the most inspiring way. Food, after all, is the great equaliser – we all enjoy it and it’s at the very heart of every big celebration. It’s history, tradition and identity – it’s something to create and something to savour. That’s why at Donnybrook Fair, our motto is simply ‘devoted to food’. So join us and explore the best of our Christmas fare; from plump Irish turkeys to sumptuous homemade Christmas pudding, delectable canapés and some of the finest wines in Ireland. Our chefs are hard at work preparing your food while our team are awaiting your orders. You can pick up what you need in our stores or have it delivered directly to your door - anything you need, we’ll do our utmost to make sure you have it in time for your big Christmas celebration. When ordering by phone or in-store please have your order form completed in advance which will save time. Please note that we have limited collection and home-delivery slots available therefore we advise you to order online and as early as possible to avoid any disappointment.

DELIVERY Our Christmas home-deliveries run from 22nd - 24th December. We are offering two delivery slots, a 5 hour slot running from 10am to 3pm and a 3 hour slot running 4pm to 7pm. On the 24th December the slot runs from 10am to 1pm and 2pm to 5pm. You must be at home during your designated slots. Please note that we are not offering our home-delivery service in certain areas including Malahide and Greystones. Please see our website for full details.

In the 1800s the old Fair itself was home to butcher stalls enthusiastically flogging their stock, while Donnybrook Fair itself was founded on the back of a successful butcher family. It's this history that has taught us the value of providing good quality, responsibly sourced meat to our customers, which is something we remain committed to this very day. Trimmings A Christmas dinner without the trimmings is little more than a roast. The devil is in the detail after all, which is why we create our own stuffings and sauces. Our traditional chestnut stuffing is handmade using fresh herbs, chestnuts and apple. The story of our
Kitchens
When Donnybrook Fair was founded in 2001, we had one goal in mind: to make our shop a destination for food lovers. To achieve this, we knew that we needed a kitchen space to create a line of classic meals from scratch. It had to be something special - a cut above the rest, something borne of devotion to food. What started with just six chefs in our Morehampton Road store slowly grew into a much bigger project, and after searching across Dublin to find a new home, our fully-fledged kitchens in South Dublin were finally founded in 2012. Now producing hundreds of meals, salads and baked goods every day, our kitchens are the beating heart of Donnybrook Fair. At this very minute, a team of over seventy chefs are hard at work creating the food that we hope will find a home at your table come Christmas Day.

CLOSERIE DE VAUDIEU Châteauneuf-du-Pape This wine has lively berry fruits on the nose, with a touch of liquorice and a hint of black pepper. Full of fruit, juicy and round with ripe tannins that gently support the cherry, cassis and herb character on the finish.
EL COTO DE IMAZ Rioja Grand Reserva Mature and elegant with rich aromatic complexity. Toasted oak nuances and coconut give way to notes of leather and damp earth from bottle ageing. On the palate, silky, rounded tannins accompany fresh red berries, dried raisins and spicy notes.
