Donhead Bursary and Charitable Purposes Fund

The Donhead Bursary and Charitable Purposes Fund, is used for the good of our pupils, the local community and to ensure our commitment to bursaries for local children and Catholic families. The fund provides charitable help pursuant to the aims and ethos of Donhead.

We are very grateful for the support of the fund and the work that it is able to do to contribute to the provision of independent education for local Catholic families and develop partnerships with local state schools and charities.

The Enrolment Fee paid on entry to the school is allocated to the Donhead Bursary and Charitable Purposes Fund and serves to support those who are in need of help and opportunity.

Bursary Fund, Hardship Fund and Partnerships

BURSARY FUND Donhead provides bursaries for children of Catholic families for whom an independent Catholic education would be inaccessible. All Bursary applications are means-tested.

HARDSHIP FUND Donhead operates a Hardship Fund for those families where the continued payment of the school fees at Donhead becomes a major difficulty. When this happens, the Governors are willing to consider sympathetically applications for the postponement of fees. This can be for either compassionate reasons or for reasons of financial hardship. partnerships Donhead is working hard to develop and sustain partnerships for the benefit of our children and the local community. Through establishing these mutually beneficial partnerships and outreach we hope to collaborate and share specialist teaching, facilities and resources with local state schools and charities.
