Program Executive Summary

Program Executive Summary The third quarter of 2013 focused on the completion of interior finishes and site improvements at Segment 5 schools Almira, Orchard and Miles and the occupancy of Dunbar. In addition, the CMR’s site work, foundations and masonry at John Marshall and Max Hayes and the CMR mobilization at Cleveland School of the Arts. Also, completed demolition at select Segment 5 and 6 buildings as well as preparing to bid/award additional demolition at select Segment 6 buildings. CMSD and the OFCC did continue to discuss the program’s Master Plan and Build Out Strategy. The fourth quarter of 2013 will continue to focus on the owner occupancy of Segment 5 PK-8 schools Almira, Orchard and Miles. CMR sitework, slab on grade, masonry, concrete, steel and roofing will continue at Max Hayes and John Marshall. CMR sitework, foundations and concrete will continue at Cleveland School of Arts. Select Segment 5 and 6 existing building demolition did conclude and additional Segment 6 buildings will be in the bid/award phase. CMSD will continue to conduct community meetings to discuss the program’s Master Plan and Build Out Strategy along with continued focus meetings with the OFCC. As always, the goal is to provide improved educational opportunities for the children of Cleveland.
