“Cristo Rey Cup Preview” “We’re so excited to bring it back for the fourth year. Starting off in my freshman year, it’s a big deal. We want to keep the [Cristo Rey Cup] title, and we want to bring it home.” “As a student and as a Corporate Work Study associate, I believe time management is most important for us because as we grow up, we get more experience, and by the time we work in real jobs, we’ll master it.”

4

“Daniel Reyes, Don Bosco Cristo Rey valedictorian, eyes future at University of Chicago”

“That dream has been shaped in part by his participation in the Corporate Work Study Program at Don Bosco Cristo Rey. Over four years, Reyes worked with the American Bankers Association, Ernst & Young, Nelson Mullins & Scarborough LLP, and even in the U.S. Senate.”

“Chatting with students”

“Don Bosco Cristo Rey student who ‘jumped into everything’ heads to College of the Holy Cross”

“Believe in yourself. I know it sounds cliché, but throughout my four years of high school I really had to believe in myself. A belief that I know I would succeed. A belief that my future is in my hands.”

“At Don Bosco, she found a sense of community and support that made all the difference. ‘You feel like you matter, and the teachers show they care whether you succeed or not,’ she said.”
