Samson Halls
Design Studio 3.2

Tampa, Fl
The objective of my project Samson Halls is to create a private space for homeless people that tends to their needs. My site, located in South Nebraska area, is positioned away from down town Tampa and close to the highway to give the homeless a place of their own. Affordable housing is the answer to the homelessness problem in Tampa. There was a record increase of 25% homelessness in Tampa during 2021. Samson Halls plans to reduce that percentage by half within the next two years by providing food, living amenities, and a safe area to commute.

Train Station Mixed Use
Design Studio 4.1

Nashville,TN
This Train Station Mixed-use project was focused on Utilizing a site with a train station, mixed-use building, and parking garage. The mixed--use building includes retail venues and a multi-story Apartment Building, which is in close proximity to the train station for traveler’s convenience. Folded Geometry of the roof structure imitates Nashville’s hilly land form, and creates unique opportunity for natural lighting. Daylight shading systems are also applied on the facade of the mixed use building with shading screens.
