1960s

The Class of 1960, through the generosity of a matching gift, raised over $10,000 in scholarship funds at their class reunion. The celebration of their 60th class reunion, which was delayed a year, took place at The Town Club. 10, 2021 at Kettle Hills Golf Course followed by an after party downtown at

Wargula’s bar, MOJO MKE. The event raised over $8,000 for Be The Match, 5 which is operated by the National Marrow

Donor Program.

The Class of ’91 raised funds for their 30th class reunion to purchase two theatre seat plaques in memory of their ’91 classmates, Maressa Kane Sullivan and Paul Hauer. The reunion celebration took place at Von Trier.

1970s

John Gripentrog ’79 PhD. recently wrote a book on the origins of the Asia-Pacific War: Prelude to Pearl Harbor: Ideology and Culture in US-Japan Relations, 1919-1941 (Rowman & Littlefield, 2021). John is a Professor of History at Mars Hill University. (1)

MaryAnne Mullaney ’75 celebrated 41 years of full-time fun with kindergarteners as family, friends and students walked with her in the Mullaney Mile, raising funds for St. Monica School at the annual parish fair. (2)

Michael Failey ’70 is a true believer that it’s never too late to return an overdue book! Following through on a favor asked of a fellow alum, Michael kindly returned his friend’s library book at the All School Reunion Knight in August and added some humor to an already fun evening! (3)

Jarod Johnson ’98 and Todd Wargula

’98 organized the first annual golf outing in memory of classmate Andy Nawrocki, who lost his battle with leukemia in December of 2000. Nawrocki’s Drive Fore ’Be The Match’ took place on September

Mike Flanagan ’06 currently works out of the Chicago office of the Milwaukee based Full-Service Advertising Agency, Laughlin Constable. He specializes in Programmatic Media, working with clients across many verticals to maximize their investments in media campaigns. (4)

Amber Rafeet ’06 August is the incoming 2021-2022 President of the Wisconsin Association of AfricanAmerican lawyers. She works at Legal Aid Society of Milwaukee as Staff Attorney in the Guardian ad Litem Division advocating for children from indigent families in family court. (5)

N’Jameh Russell-Camara ’09 and her husband Ian welcomed their daughter Tova Stephanie Maria on July 8th, 2021. Their family resides in Milwaukee, WI. (6) Beth Rottler ’00 Plageman and her husband Anthony welcomed their daughter Liliana on February 26, 2021. The family resides in Madison, WI. (7)

Stephanie Weidmann ’08 Tharp and her husband Cal welcomed their son Beckett Wolter on July 25, 2021. The couple resides in Cave Springs, Arkansas. (8)

2010s

Jason Brown ’14 is currently in his third-year teaching English at Strake Jesuit College Preparatory in Houston, Texas. Outside of the classroom, Jason is the Freshman Football Coach, Varsity Lacrosse Defensive and Face Off Coach and a Freshman Retreat Leader. He’s also currently completing a Masters of Educational Leadership in Catholic schools through St. Louis University. (9)

Annie Desing ’17 recently graduated from Marquette University with a degree in elementary education. She is currently teaching 3rd grade at St. Jude the Apostle after enjoying her summer job as the Camp Director for Dominican’s Summer Theatre Camp.

Erin Desing ’15 most recently took a position as the Client Operations Manager at Brainchild Studios. She is responsible for working with various clients on specific website and marketing deliverables, supporting the business development and operations processes, implementing social media marketing initiatives, and more.
