Xavier College strives to form exceptional graduates through inspiring learning experiences and our distinct Jesuit character.

Xavier College was opened by the Society of Jesus (the Jesuits) in 1878 and to this day continues to enlighten generations of fine young men.

“Cura Personalis” is a term that encapsulates a Xavier College education. In caring for the individual, our focus is to develop our students’ heads, hearts and hands. This is key to forming the “whole person”, which will help our students engage successfully in the challenging world they are entering.

At the Kostka Hall and Burke Hall campuses, the college enrols both Early Years (co-educational, three-year-old Kindergarten to Year 4) and Middle Years (boys only, Years 5 to 8) students. At the Senior Campus, Senior Years students (boys Years 9 to 12) also have the opportunity to board.

Our students are at the heart of all that we do. Through their Xavier journey, we strive to form exceptional Xavier graduates who are authentic, spiritual, positive, inspiring, resilient and empathetic.
