CREATING INUWA

Inuwa is a term used in hause (west africa). its more about feeling/ ambience of a space. It, most often, refers to a space around your home/ neighbourhood that outdoors but sheltered from rain. Inuwa spaces normally spatially ambiguous green spaces used for relaxing/ storyteling. The closest spaces in western homes / gardens similar to an inuwa space is probably a conservatory/ balcony/ pavilion
But inuwa has a very nostalgic feeling to it. So for this project, i was really trying to, not only to replicate an inuwa space with in the uk climate but also try and get the space to eminate that feeling of comfort
