Dinosaur Festival Brisbane

Dinosaur Festival Brisbane, Dogs Queensland

Unveiling Australotitan: Australia’s largest dinosaur At the Annual Dinosaur Festival Brisbane 2021

Dinosaurs recently dominated the Toowoomba Showgrounds and Townsville Riverway Precinct, families amazed by the huge life-size models at the Dinosaur Festival Australia, with the fun, family day out, set to return to Brisbane from 19 – 22 November 2021.

The recent success of the Australian tour of the travelling exhibition has prompted event organisers to return to Brisbane at Dogs Queensland, 247 King Ave, Durack with a bigger and better event experience, adding more attractions and a special offer for public schools.

Schools will have the opportunity to register to attend a series of selected sessions free and view images of unique fossils on show as well as learn about recently discovered dinosaur remains.

We all know finding dinosaurs in Australia has been an incredibly difficult task and a recent study published confirms Australia’s largest dinosaur species ever discovered, and the largest land-dwelling species to have walked the outback has been found in Queensland. The Dinosaur Festival Australia will celebrate the Australotitan, estimated to have reached 25–30 metres in length and 5–6.5m in height, weighing the equivalent of 1,400 red kangaroos.

Visitors to the Dinosaur Festival Australia are being encouraged to ‘Dress Dino’ and wear their most inspired dinosaur outfit or costume, to add to the fun, making the day an even more memorable experience.

The Dinosaur Festival Australia will feature animatronic extinct creatures from the Jurassic, Cretaceous, Triassic era, think Tyrannosaurus Rex, Brachiosaurus, and the newly uncovered Australotitan.

Walk through the display of animatronic and static dinosaur models, jump on the bouncing castle, check out the reptile display and spend some time Dino Colouring – all of which is included with your entry ticket.
