On behalf of the Desert of Florida, it is our distinct honor and pleasure to welcome you too the 2025 Desert Conference and Gala Day, hosted in the vibrant Oasis of Melbourne.
Affectionately known as Harbor City, originally called Crane Creek, and proudly part of the famed Space Coast, Melbourne is a city rich in history, full of energy, and brimming with opportunities for exploration.
We’ve prepared a jam-packed agenda that blends critical business with enjoyable social activities. You’ll also have time to experience Melbourne’s beautiful beaches, charming downtown, and other local attractions that showcase the spirit of this unique city.
You could have chosen to spend your weekend elsewhere, and we are genuinely grateful that you chose to spend it here with us in the Desert of Florida.

Greetings Desert of Florida Nobles and Daughters, Nobles and Daughters across the Domain, esteemed members of the Imperial Council and Imperial Court, elected and appointed, special guests, and cherished visitors: Welcome aboard!
It is my absolute pleasure to extend a heartfelt welcome to each of you as we launch the 2025 Desert Conference Gala Day here in the beautiful Oasis of Melbourne, Florida The Harbour City. As we ignite the engines of fellowship, tradition, and purpose, let us reflect on the vibrant momentum of the Desert of Florida, where impactful service projects and community engagement continue to light the way forward.
Whether you've journeyed across the state, across the country, or simply across town, your presence strengthens our bonds and fuels our shared mission. Each of you carries a legacy ing, of quiet strength and this weekend, we celebrate that collective light. Like the engineers and explorers of the nearby Space Coast, we are seekers: of knowledge, of growth, and of ways to better serve our fellow man. And just like the stars, when united, our light can illuminate even the darkest night.
I would like to express deep appreciation to Osiris Temple No. 67 and Osiris Court No. 70 for their tireless efforts in making this Desert Conference and Gala Day a vibrant, inspiring experience. Their planning has been a journey with twists, turns, and triumphs, but their dedication has brought us all to this successful destination.
To the most dynamic, talented, and resilient Nobles and Daughters in this Order: this weekend is more than a celebration it’s a reaffirmation of our shared commitment. Let us cherish these moments, honor our achievements, and look ahead to new opportunities. I encourage each of you to connect, share your stories, and take full advantage of the engaging events planned.
Be sure to explore local gems such as the Eau Gallie Arts District on the Indian River Lagoon or the Brevard Zoo, where you can even enjoy a kayak tour through an African habitat.
