Jerald Kemmerer-CEO/GM Another fall harvest is almost in the books with better than average yields. With the exception of a few dry weeks, weather was optimal and would have yielded even better with a timely rain. With the addition of the new bins at the Ford and Gray locations, we were able to handle the volume of the higher yields better than before. As a cooperative, we will continue to improve your locations with speed and storage capacity to keep up with growing needs and potential increases driven by advancements. So far, the fall moisture received has given us a great start for this next year. Before this year’s crops are final, inputs for next year’s crops are a

challenge due to the disruption in the supply chain for chemicals and fertilizer. The Capital projects we have completed over the past few years have assisted us in securing the products you will need this fall and spring. Those capital projects consist of the dry fertilizer shed, the liquid fertilizer storage and the chemical shed. We were hoping the supply chain would improve with the nearing of the end of Covid but this has not happened. We feel we will experience these disruptions through 2022 and maybe into the first quarter of 2023. Communication of your needs to our Agronomy department is vital at this time to continue to serve your needs during these supply disruption issues. Although we continue to experience challenges with the

increase in input costs in relationship to the forward contract market, the return per acre continues to thrive. As you look at these inputs, contact our grain marketing team to enhance your marketing program and lock in your profits with the variety of contracts we offer. At the end of October, we hosted several Customer Appreciation lunches throughout our locations. This is in recognition of October being National Cooperative Month. I hope you were able to attend a lunch as we recognize Cooperative month but it is also a great opportunity for us to demonstrate our appreciation to you for your business. As announced at the last annual meeting, we were in discussions with Kanza Coop about what a possible merger would look like. I personally
