Thinking Big: How ABN AMRO MeesPierson is Redefining Private Banking Through Marketing Innovation
A
BN AMRO MeesPierson is the Dutch private banking division of ABN AMRO, serving wealthy individuals, entrepreneurs, families and foundations across the Netherlands. Combining centuries of private banking expertise with a forward-looking approach, the bank supports clients with wealth planning, investment management, lending, philanthropy and succession planning.
Your firm has been recognised for marketing innovation. What do you believe has been the key factor behind your success, and what makes your approach stand out? At ABN AMRO MeesPierson, we believe successful marketing starts with understanding how clients' ambitions are evolving. Today's clients are not only focused on preserving wealth. They are thinking about growth, family, entrepreneurship, impact and legacy. Our success has come from translating those ambitions into a clear and compelling brand story. Through our Think Big platform, we moved beyond traditional private banking messaging and created a positioning that reflects what clients are really looking for: a partner who understands the bigger picture behind their wealth. What makes our approach stand out is that Think Big is not just a campaign. It is a strategic platform that shapes how we communicate, engage with clients and position ourselves in the market. Can you tell us about the campaign, initiative, or strategy that best demonstrates your team's creativity and impact? Think Big is the initiative that best demonstrates our creativity and impact. Built around the promise, "If you think big, you need a private bank that does too", it reflects a deliberate move away from traditional private banking communications centred on status and affluence. Instead, we place our clients' ambitions at the heart of the story. The platform particularly resonates with entrepreneurs, wealthy women and next-generation clients who are actively shaping the future. Its strength lies in its consistency. We embedded the positioning across every touchpoint, from digital channels and client communications to events, offices and thought leadership. It has given colleagues a shared story and clients a clear understanding of who we are and what we stand for.
Alen Zeljkovic Head of Wealth Management Clients ABN AMRO MeesPierson
Winner • Marketing Innovation (Europe)
The wealth management industry continues to evolve rapidly. How are your marketing strategies adapting to meet changing client expectations and market dynamics? We are seeing a significant shift in client expectations. Clients increasingly want advice that reflects not only their assets, but also their ambitions, values and long-term goals. Our response has been to focus less on wealth itself and more on what clients want to achieve with it. Whether we are working with entrepreneurs, family businesses or next-generation wealth holders, we aim to create more meaningful conversations around growth, opportunity, impact and legacy. This thinking sits at the heart of our Think Big positioning and has helped us build stronger, more relevant connections with the clients we serve. Winning a WealthBriefing Innovation in Marketing Award is a significant achievement. What does this recognition mean for your team? This award is a proud moment for everyone involved. It validates the work we have done to build a distinctive and future-focused private banking brand. More importantly, it confirms that our message resonates with both clients and the wider industry. It reflects our ambition to continue evolving alongside our clients and strengthening the relationships that are at the heart of private banking. Ultimately, it reinforces our belief that a strong brand is about more than visibility. It is about creating meaningful connections and helping clients realise their ambitions by thinking bigger about what comes next.

ACCLAIM | WEALTHBRIEFING RECOGNISES LEADERS ACROSS THE GLOBAL WEALTH MANAGEMENT INDUSTRY
From Swiss Expertise to Global Reach What does Marketing Innovation (Europe) mean to you? For me, marketing innovation is not simply about adopting the newest technology or communication channel. It is about finding better ways to connect people with relevant expertise while maintaining credibility, integrity, and consistency. The model began with AW✚SWITZERLAND, connecting internationally minded investors with Swiss wealth-management expertise. We have since extended that concept through AW❖UNITED KINGDOM and AW●ASIA PACIFIC | MIDDLE EAST. The foundation remains distinctly Swiss and European, but the communication ecosystem is increasingly international. What makes this approach innovative? Traditional marketing disciplines are combined with a digital-first, cross-border model. Thought leadership, PR, events, brand positioning, websites, LinkedIn and educational content all work together rather than operating independently. Central to this is what I call the standalone-plus-ecosystem approach. Every article, interview, visual or campaign should be strong enough to stand on its own, but also reinforce a wider communications strategy. One idea can therefore travel intelligently across platforms, audiences and jurisdictions without losing its substance or identity. How important is education within your marketing strategy? Extremely important. International wealth management can be complex, particularly when clients, assets, and advisors cross borders. Good marketing should make that complexity more understandable without oversimplifying it. That philosophy was reflected in the WealthBriefing Swiss Awards judges' comments, which highlighted our ability to connect international investors with Swiss wealth-management expertise through education, collaboration, and strategic campaigns, while improving understanding across borders.
Where does AI fit into this model? AI is an accelerator, not a substitute for experience or judgement. It can strengthen research, content structuring, personalisation, SEO and Generative Engine Optimisation, and make distribution considerably more efficient. But wealth management is a regulated, trust-driven industry. My formal training as a Chief AI Officer has therefore been particularly valuable in developing an approach centred on governance, human oversight, brand integrity, and regulatory awareness. The interesting challenge now is creating high-quality content that works not only for human readers and traditional search engines, but increasingly within AI-driven discovery environments. How does the international expansion strengthen the original Swiss proposition? AW✚SWITZERLAND remains at the heart of the concept. Switzerland represents stability, expertise, precision and a long tradition of international wealth management.
Anne Liebgott Founder AW+SWITZERLAND
The UK, Asia-Pacific and Middle East platforms do not replace that positioning; they extend the ecosystem. They allow us to connect expertise, audiences, and financial centres across regions while adapting communication to different markets. What ultimately makes marketing successful in wealth management? Trust. Technology changes, platforms evolve and marketing techniques come and go, but trust remains fundamental. The opportunity is to combine those enduring principles with new technology intelligently. A lean organisation can now achieve meaningful international reach, but innovation only has value when it strengthens rather than dilutes credibility. That combination of experience, curiosity, disciplined innovation and cross-border thinking continues to define our approach.

Turning Philanthropy into Impact: The Marketing Innovation Behind Big Give’s Award-Winning Campaigns
B
ig Give is a registered charity and match funding platform that enables high-networth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals, foundations, trusts and corporate funders (Champions) to maximise the impact of their giving through match funding. Since 2007, Big Give has raised more than £440 million for thousands of charities working across the UK and around the world. We design and deliver national fundraising campaigns that combine philanthropic capital with public donations through data-led marketing, PR, creative storytelling and digital engagement. For funders, the value is clear: every £1 committed is matched by public giving, typically doubling its impact and often leveraging four to five times the original contribution when Gift Aid is included. Alongside funding, charities receive training, campaign support and access to the UK’s largest match funding ecosystem, helping build long-term fundraising resilience. Your firm has been recognised for marketing innovation. What do you believe has been the key factor behind your success, and what makes your approach stand out? The key factor has been our ability to connect philanthropy with public participation while making match funding the centre of the marketing proposition rather than a technical feature. Our message is simple: “Your donation will be doubled today.” That creates urgency, clarity and a tangible sense of impact as public donors see their gift matched in real time. A single Champion contribution can unlock thousands of additional donations, creating measurable leverage and visible social return. We amplify that message through integrated PR, digital marketing, celebrity advocacy and the communications networks of more than 1,500 participating charities, enabling national reach with a relatively modest marketing budget.
Bethany Gaskin Marketing & Communications Manager Big Give
Winner • Marketing Campaign (Europe)
Can you tell us about the campaign, initiative, or strategy that you feel best demonstrates your team’s creativity and impact? The strongest example is the Big Give Christmas Challenge 2025, which raised £57.4 million in seven days and mobilised more than 152,000 public donations, maintaining Big Give’s position as the UK’s largest public fundraising campaign and surpassing the amount raised by both Comic Relief and Children in Need in the same year. The campaign centred on the idea “Double the difference”. Our hero film starring Prue Leith combined scripted storytelling with documentary footage from partner charities, delivering warmth, authenticity and humour. Supported by short-form social content, celebrity advocacy and a coordinated national PR campaign including ITV Lorraine, Hello! Magazine, LBC and the Daily Express, the campaign achieved strong growth beyond the headline total. Website traffic increased by 23%, social impressions by 248%, and participating charities reported stronger supporter relationships and increased digital fundraising confidence. Importantly, more than half of participating charities had annual incomes below £1 million, demonstrating that strategic philanthropy can strengthen organisations of every size. Winning a WealthBriefing Innovation in Marketing Award is a significant achievement. What does this recognition mean for your team, and how does it reflect your firm’s wider ambitions? This award is especially meaningful because it comes from the wealth management community and validates that a relatively small team can deliver national-scale impact through creativity, collaboration and disciplined execution. The Christmas Challenge was the result of close partnership between charities, funders, creative agencies and media partners, so the recognition belongs to a broad ecosystem rather than to Big Give alone. As we look ahead, our ambition is to grow our network of Champion partners, enabling us to support thousands more charities through the Big Give platform and unlock even greater public participation and lasting social impact.

The Greatest Value is in the Connections Your firm has been recognised for marketing innovation. What do you believe has been the key factor behind your success, and what makes your approach stand out? The key to our success is that we do not view marketing as separate from client service. At Day Pitney, our goal is to provide value add to our relationships by bringing the right people, ideas, and opportunities together. Working with clients on their most important legal, business, and succession matters has taught us that creating lasting value is built through meaningful connection, trusted insights, and long-term relationships. We have curated a genuine ecosystem around the family office community. The insights shared through our programs are timely, topical and impactful, but the conversations and relationships that develop around them are just as valuable. Can you tell us about the campaign, initiative, or strategy that you feel best demonstrates your team's creativity and impact? Our Family Office Investment SeriesTM best demonstrates that philosophy. At its center is our annual Palm Beach Family Office Forum, now in its 13th year, which brings together family office principals, executives, investors, advisors, and industry leaders for candid discussions shaping the community. The Forum anchors programs across the U.S. and select international markets, covering private investments, real estate, succession planning, governance, cybersecurity/data privacy, executive compensation, and operations. More than events, the Series includes trusted gatherings where industry leaders exchange ideas, gain practical insights, and build meaningful relationships. Designed as an educational and relationship-driven platform, the event brings together clients, prospects, referral sources, and industry leaders in an environment focused on practical insights and peer-to-peer dialogue.
R. Scott Beach Leader of Day Pitney’s Family Office Practice and Chair of its Corporate and Business Law Department Day Pitney LLP
The wealth management industry continues to evolve rapidly. How are your marketing strategies adapting to meet changing client expectations and market dynamics? Families and their advisors are navigating complexity, global interests, and fast-moving risks. They expect timely, practical insight and value trusted relationships and access to experienced people who understand the broader context. Our marketing strategy has evolved to meet those expectations by focusing on education, connection, and accessibility. We deliver targeted programming, coordinated thought leadership, and expanded cross-border engagement through our leadership role in Lex Mundi's Global Family Office Group. We also share insights through live events, webinars, articles, and our Generations newsletter, allowing clients to engage with us in the ways that are most valuable to them. Winning a WealthBriefing Innovation in Marketing Award is a significant achievement. What does this recognition mean for your team, and how does it reflect your firm's wider ambitions?

The Brand is the Wrapper, the Products are the Reason
Winner • Marketing Campaign (Europe)
Fitore Miftari Marketing Director Etops Group
Your firm has been recognised for marketing innovation. What do you believe has been the key factor behind your success, and what makes your approach stand out? Product leads, brand follows. Etops is a pan-European WealthTech company: more than 250 professionals serving over 2,000 clients across banks, wealth and asset managers, independent advisors and insurance firms in Germany, Switzerland and other continental European markets. Our modular technology covers the whole value chain, from portfolio management and trading connectivity to wealth aggregation, reporting and advisory workflows. In B2B WealthTech, branding is often treated as decoration. We took the opposite view. A brand earns attention only if it makes the tools people use every day easier to find, evaluate and trust. So we built the Etops brand as a wrapper for the products our clients open every morning, and launched it in the order that served them. Can you tell us about the campaign that best demonstrates your team's creativity and impact? The Etops brand launch of 17 March 2025. The conventional playbook is the big bang: one date, every screen, portal and invoice at once. We turned that down. The company identity went first, in two languages, on one digital platform, with one set of messages. The products kept the interfaces our clients knew and have moved under the Etops brand one by one. The proof came with FinanzPortal 24. When it became etops FinanzPortal, the German advisor market already knew who Etops was. Nobody had to ask. That is what a brand is built to do.
How are your marketing strategies adapting to changing client expectations? By treating the client's morning as the constraint. A portfolio manager who has logged into the same system for ten years does not need a visual overhaul on a Monday. Clients met the Etops name at events, in newsletters and through their account managers long before it touched their workflows. Before your product changes, you hear from us. Predictability is now a design principle for every launch we run. What does this recognition mean for your team, and how does it reflect your firm's wider ambitions? On launch day the marketing team was two people: Caroline Weber, our designer, and me, then still a product marketing manager. The team grew with the roadmap rather than ahead of it. Olivia Berger owns web and search, Eva Hoffman content and demand generation for wealth and asset management, and Niklas Pries joined ahead of the FinanzPortal launch to lead marketing for the IFA line. Each hire arrived when a product line needed its own owner, which is the same logic as the campaign. The ambition is etopsOne: one login and one experience across the full value chain, with every product fully consolidated on it. The brand launched in German and English; Italian and Spanish followed, because the markets we serve do not stop at the German-speaking border, and neither does the name. www.etops.com

From Data to Decisions: Why the Future of Wealth Management Starts with Intelligence Congratulations on winning a WealthBriefing Innovation in Marketing Award. What does this recognition mean to you? This award recognises a strategic shift in how we engage with the market, not simply a marketing campaign. Conversations with senior wealth management executives showed they want communications that reflect their priorities, from growth and profitability to risk, efficiency and client experience. We asked: does our communication match the quality of our client conversations? That question drove the transformation.
Laurent Dubois Sales Director Integraal Solutions SA
Winner • Marketing Innovation (Europe)
How did you translate that ambition into your new digital presence? We redesigned our website from a financial institution leader’s perspective, prioritising relevance over appearance. Rather than leading with technology, we address clients’ realities: fragmented data, margin pressure, regulation and the need for faster, informed decisions. The result is clearer communication of our value and a stronger starting point for meaningful engagement. You also targeted C-level audiences more directly. What did you change? We became more selective, focusing on issues that genuinely affect financial institutions rather than broad promotional messages. Before publishing, I ask: would this be useful to a senior executive? Would it challenge their thinking or prompt a better question? This discipline has helped us move from generating attention to earning credibility. Artificial intelligence is now central to almost every strategic discussion. How does it fit into your thinking? AI will fundamentally change how financial institutions analyse information, serve clients and manage operations. But many organisations are starting in the wrong place. The first question should not be, “Which AI solution should we deploy?” but, “Can we trust the data on which it will operate?” AI built on fragmented or poorly governed data simply produces uncertainty faster. Sustainable value requires reliable,
contextualised and traceable information. AI readiness is therefore not just a technology issue, but a strategic one. What should this mean for executive teams? Leadership teams need to treat data as a strategic asset, not an IT by-product. When Finance, Operations, Risk, Compliance and the Front Office work from different definitions of the truth, organisations lose time and confidence. AI makes alignment even more critical. Institutions with a shared, governed data foundation can use AI more effectively, accelerate decisions and identify opportunities earlier, creating more sustainable business value. How does this connect with Integraal Solutions’ new positioning as “The Intelligence Platform for Wealth Management”? For us, intelligence is what happens when data becomes genuinely useful to the business. It is about giving leadership and operational teams a consistent understanding of performance, risk, profitability and client activity, enabling better decisions. This reflects our direction: helping wealth management organisations build a trusted information foundation today while preparing for AI-enabled use cases tomorrow. That is what we mean by “Elevate Your Business”: making intelligence practical, actionable and connected to measurable outcomes. What is the broader lesson from this transformation? The lesson is that marketing, data and AI strategy are increasingly connected. Effective communication starts with understanding the client. Effective decision-making depends on trusted information. Effective AI requires the same foundation. This award is an important milestone, but the real achievement is aligning our communication with how we work: listening first, understanding strategic challenges and focusing on measurable outcomes. Innovation is not about being the loudest voice; it is about being relevant, credible and useful.

The Long Game: Marketing That Delivers Oliver Tregoning Head of Marketing JM Finn
Winner • Marketing Campaign (Europe)
Your firm has been recognised for marketing innovation. What do you believe has been the key factor behind your success, and what makes your approach stand out? Our success comes from combining the personal service that defines JM Finn with marketing that is measurable, targeted and commercially effective. Rather than treating sponsorship, digital marketing, content and events as separate activities, we integrate them into a single strategy focused on building relationships and supporting business growth. What stands out is our commitment to long-term partnerships – reflecting the values of the firm. Can you tell us about the campaign, initiative, or strategy that you feel best demonstrates your team's creativity and impact? Our sponsorship of Surrey County Cricket Club at The Kia Oval is a model of innovative, multi-layered brand partnership and marketing. Over 22 years it has evolved into a fully integrated partnership spanning hospitality, social media, content and client engagement. Through initiatives including the naming rights of the JM Finn Stand, player-led content and the “Strong Partnerships” campaign, the partnership has generated exceptional brand recall of 75% among the club’s members and new business that we can directly attribute to the sponsorship that far exceeded our initial expectations. The wealth management industry continues to evolve rapidly. How are your marketing strategies adapting to meet changing client expectations and market dynamics? Clients increasingly expect a seamless experience across both personal and digital channels. We are responding by investing in educational content, search visibility and digital marketing while still emphasising the firm’s focus on personal relationships that
has underpinned our service since it was founded 80 years ago. We are adapting to changing search behaviours, including the growth of AI-powered discovery, ensuring our content remains accessible wherever clients and prospective clients choose to engage. Winning a WealthBriefing Innovation in Marketing Award is a significant achievement. What does this recognition mean for your team, and how does it reflect your firm's wider ambitions? We are naturally delighted to have won the award. It acknowledges the impact of our joined-up work across digital and content marketing, sponsorship, events and business development. We are particularly proud as we are a small team, bring in agencies on an as-needed basis, so this validates our approach and gives us a chance to celebrate a long-term, multi-channel approach which underlines our more general marketing approach. More broadly, it reflects JM Finn’s ambition to grow through its reputation as a trusted adviser in wealth management while remaining true to the personal service, trust, integrity and longevity that have defined the firm for 80 years. Looking ahead, what excites you most about the future of marketing in wealth management, and where do you see the greatest opportunities for innovation? We see long-term sponsorship as a key area for innovation. Renewing our contract as official Wealth Management Partner of Surrey County Cricket Club (SCCC) and maintaining the naming rights reflects the strength of our relationship and our belief in the value of long-term partnerships as a key part of our marketing strategy. There is a great opportunity for us to continue leveraging the brand awareness and trust of JM Finn among SCCC members by making JM Finn the obvious choice for their financial advice and investment needs.

Wealth Management Simplified: Building a Modern Wealth Manager Around Clients and People LeoVest has grown rapidly since its launch in 2024. Can you briefly describe the firm and what differentiates it? LeoVest Partners is an independent Swiss wealth manager and Multi Family Office headquartered in Zurich, with an office in Geneva. We started operations in January 2024 with 11 co-founders and approximately CHF 50 million in assets under management. Today, we manage around CHF 2 billion and have grown to 29 professionals. From the beginning, our ambition was not simply to create another EAM. We wanted to combine the entrepreneurial spirit and personal service of an independent wealth manager with the investment capabilities, technology, governance and infrastructure of a larger institution. Our vision, “Wealth Management Simplified,” captures this well. Wealth management has become increasingly complex. Our role is to reduce that complexity for clients and allow our Relationship Managers to spend more time doing what really matters: advising their clients. Your firm has been recognised for marketing innovation. What has been the key factor behind your success?
Stephan Matti Co-Founder - Partner - Member of Executive Team - CEO LeoVest Partners AG
For us, successful marketing starts with authenticity. We do not want to create a marketing image that is different from the company people experience when they meet us. Our communication therefore focuses heavily on our people, our investment expertise and the entrepreneurial culture behind LeoVest. We use different channels to make the firm and our specialists more visible, but the objective is always the same: to communicate clearly what we stand for and why clients and experienced wealth management professionals choose LeoVest. Our rapid growth gives us a strong story to tell, but credibility comes from the people and substance behind that story. How are AI and technology influencing your approach to marketing and client engagement? Technology has been part of LeoVest's DNA from day one. Because we built the firm without legacy systems, we have been able to create a highly digital infrastructure covering onboarding, portfolio management, reporting and client servicing. We are also increasingly using AI to analyse and structure information, support the preparation of client and marketing materials and automate recurring tasks. But we see technology as an enabler, not a replacement for people. Wealth management ultimately remains a relationship business. Looking ahead, where do you see the greatest opportunity for innovation?
Winner • Marketing Innovation (Europe)
I believe the biggest opportunity is to combine technology with more personal and relevant communication. Clients have access to more information than ever before; what they need is not more information, but greater clarity. The same applies to marketing. The future will not be about producing more content. It will be about using technology and data intelligently to deliver the right content to the right audience while remaining authentic and personal. That philosophy is very close to what we are building at LeoVest: using technology to remove complexity while keeping people and relationships at the centre.

We Wanted Clients to Know Us Before They Ever Met Us Winner • Marketing Campaign (Asia) • Marketing Innovation (Asia)
Himangshu Baruah Chief Marketing Officer Lighthouse Canton
L
ighthouse Canton is a global investment institution headquartered in Singapore, with offices in the UAE, India and the UK. As of 30 June 2026, the organisation manages and advises on assets exceeding USD 6 billion and was recently named winner of both 'Marketing Campaign (Asia)' and 'Marketing Innovation (Asia)' at the inaugural WealthBriefing Innovation in Marketing Awards 2026. We spoke to Executive Director - Chief Marketing Officer, Himangshu Baruah about what sits behind that recognition.
private markets, India and the Gulf as rising centres of wealth, family offices, AI in financial services, and women in wealth and succession.
What do you believe has been the key factor behind your success, and what makes your approach stand out?
AI is no longer what sets wealth managers apart. What matters is what you do with it.
Most of our industry markets products. We decided to market perspective, and we have held that line for three years.
Increasingly, a prospect's first introduction can be an AI assistant's summary of who we are and what we think. About 2,000 visits have come from platforms such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Claude, and roughly two in five website sessions begin in organic search.
IDEAs, which stands for Investments, Disruptors, Economy & Alternatives, is our thought leadership platform of events, podcast and editorial content. It rests on a simple wager: clients trust the firm that helps them anticipate what is coming, not the one that explains what has already happened. Marketing sits alongside sales on acquisition and retention, so a prospect has met our thinking before the first conversation. In wealth management, trust starts long before anyone sits down at the table.
Website traffic has grown almost fourfold since 2023, our LinkedIn following fivefold and enquiries fivefold in two years. How are technologies such as AI, automation or data analytics influencing your marketing and client engagement?
The risk is that everything starts to look and sound the same. AI helps us draft, edit and design, so views reach clients the same day, while templates and one house voice keep us consistent. The views come from our senior professionals, because that earns a client's trust. Our job is to make sure that what clients find is Lighthouse Canton.
Can you tell us about the campaign, initiative or strategy that best demonstrates your team's creativity and impact?
What does this recognition mean for your team, and how does it reflect your firm's wider ambitions?
When IDEAs launched in 2023, it began with invitation-only events in India, Singapore and Dubai. The podcast followed and we later added a blog written by our investment professionals.
Winning both Marketing Campaign and Marketing Innovation says something about how the team works. We have built tools and formats when we saw a gap.
Each format has a different job. Events are how we meet people in person, while the podcast and articles let them listen or read whenever suits them. The conversation follows where capital is heading:
We aim to reach USD 10 billion in AuM by 2027. The business plan gives us direction, and this team supports it by building the tools and formats that growth needs.

Communicating Beyond Numbers and Performance. You have been recognised for the Marketing Individual award. What makes your approach stand out? When I joined MFM five years ago, the ambition was simple: to communicate beyond numbers and performance. My management already understood that clients wanted to understand not only how their investments were performing, but also the expertise, people and values behind them. With that in mind, I tried to create content that reflects who we truly are: an independent wealth and asset management boutique that stays close to its clients and attentive to what matters to them. Rather than relying on traditional corporate messaging or an impersonal brand identity, I chose to give a voice to my colleagues. I encourage them to share their insights in their own words through interviews, profiles, articles, and videos. As a result, our content reflects the unique blend of expertise and personalities that defines the MFM team. I often refer to it as our multifaceted identity. Many would see the size of our company as a limitation when it comes to creating impact. I see it as one of the key factors behind our success. Our lean structure allows us to be agile. Without multiple layers of approval, marketing projects can move quickly from concept idea to execution. MFM’management also encourages us to think outside the box. It is a real privilege to have the freedom to propose new ideas and be creative.
Laetitia Oguey Engström Communication & Marketing Manager Mirante Fund Management SA
Which initiative best demonstrates your vision? The initiative that best illustrates our vision is Panorama 360°, our monthly bilingual magazine designed to be both informative and accessible. Published in an easy-to-read 12-page format, it brings together contributions from different experts and colleagues. Readers can find market analysis from our CIO, Frank Crittin, and our investment experts, alongside employee profiles, company news and partner highlights. This combination of perspectives enables us to deliver content that is educational, relatable and authentic. How are technologies such as AI automation influencing the way you approach marketing and client engagement? When it comes to using artificial intelligence in our marketing and communication efforts, I see it as a useful tool rather than a replacement for human expertise. For sure, AI can summarize an idea, proofread content, translate quickly and improve clarity. However, it cannot replace the critical thinking and personal experience of my colleagues or myself. More importantly, relying too heavily on AI-generated content would be counterproductive to our communication philosophy. It would risk standardising content and diluting what makes us unique.
Winner • Marketing Individual (Europe) - Laetitia Oguey Engström
I also do not see MFM using AI automation to distribute our content in the near future. We operate in a highly regulated environment where we need to keep control over to whom our content is distributed. Personally, when I see content or an image that has been entirely generated by AI, it reduce my trust in the company. I believe authenticity matters more than ever today. Perhaps, in the near future, imperfections and small mistakes will become signs that there is a real human soul behind the content.

boutique strategic communications consultancy with a media relations focus, Phoenix is a specialist in the fields of wealth and asset management.
Chair of Women in Football, Ebru Koksal around intergenerational wealth transfer, we have supported the business in numerous international markets, targeting a range of client groups.
For us every client relationship is a partnership, our proposition centred on the delivery of senior communications counsel, creative thinking and exacting written standards, with an approach that is agile, targeted and proven. Our focus is always on building and maintaining awareness of our clients’ spokespersons and services, and the management of corporate reputation, our close relationships with the media serving the investment industry and community enabling us to deliver consistently outstanding media outcomes over the longer term.
Highlights include placing CIO, Chris Rossbach as Markets Guest on CNBC’s Squawk Box Europe, preparing the groundwork for his invitation to join the Barron’s Roundtable, developing a research initiative to underpin a Mail on Sunday wealth section leader, placing Chris in a rare Sun feature around the next big thing, and explaining why SpaceX did not meet Stern’s quality criteria.
Your firm has been recognised for marketing innovation. What do you believe has been the key factor behind your success, and what makes your approach stand out? We have a particular and proven track record in raising the profile of smaller, lesser-known concerns and have in a little over four years succeeded in positioning J. Stern & Co. – the focus of our submission – as a boutique asset manager investing in quality assets for the long term. It is today a go-to commentator from a near zero base, and we are proud of the positive media backdrop we have created for the business as it looks to scale. Our work in developing brands and assets under management, through several stock market cycles, has won us an excellent reputation, our focus first and foremost on the delivery of highly active, hard-working, high impact media relations programmes; that has delivered some exceptional media outcomes, and is where we truly shine. Can you tell us about the campaign, initiative, or strategy that you feel best demonstrates your team's creativity and impact? Whether it has been telling the Stern family story, campaigning the flagship fund or working with Board Member and
The wealth management industry continues to evolve rapidly. How are your marketing strategies adapting to meet changing client expectations and market dynamics? In a sector where consolidation continues to be the order of the day, and which grows increasingly homogeneous, it is the everyday battle to differentiate your brand and offering which presents and will continue to present the greatest challenge.
Gordon Puckey Managing Director Phoenix Financial PR
That means drilling down on the core values of the business, defining how you want to be perceived in the minds of your target client, agreeing upon and communicating clearly a handful of key messages. That is the platform for building a brand and where the greatest opportunity for innovation lies. Winning a WealthBriefing Innovation in Marketing Award is a significant achievement. What does this recognition mean for your team, and how does it reflect your firm's wider ambitions? Phoenix works with a wonderful portfolio of clients, some of whom have been our partners for more than a decade. Recognising the energy and tenacity we bring to our clients year on year, alongside the quality and impact of our work, the Award comes as we celebrate our 21st year in business, so is timely. It is most certainly a wonderful accolade to receive as we look to explore relationships with other like-minded investment concerns.

The Scarce Resource is Timing, Not Content Your firm has been recognised for marketing innovation. What do you believe has been the key factor behind your success, and what makes your approach stand out? Pulsar Media was founded in Geneva in 2022 to do one thing: put Swiss banks, asset managers and independent wealth firms into the conversations that matter to them, in the titles their clients actually read. More than 40 mandates later, the purpose remains, but the manner evolved. We write to the standard of the desk receiving the piece, in French and English, and place it in the Swiss economic and financial press.
Sherif Mamdouh Founder & Strategic Communications Consultant Pulsar Media
What changed our economics was a diagnosis, not a tool. Three years ago, AI made the production side of this business fast and cheap for everyone: draft, reframe, translate, adapt. In that market another well-written comment is worth very little. What stayed hard is the question every executive asks, and few agencies answer with evidence: which subject can we credibly own, and is now the moment to speak? We built COSMOS to answer it with data rather than instinct and reorganised the agency around it. The distinctive part is not that we use AI. It is that we placed it upstream, in detection and analysis. How are technologies such as AI, automation, or data analytics influencing the way your firm approaches marketing and client engagement?
Winner • Marketing Innovation (Europe)
COSMOS continuously aggregates market data, sector news, executive commentary and each client's coverage history, then looks for trends, recurrences and weak signals. It surfaces three things in particular: a topic rising before it becomes consensus, an expertise unusually relevant to the debate of the moment, and a speaking window still under-occupied. It is now accessible through Claude via an MCP server, so the team queries it in natural language. Seven clients use COSMOS in production today, including banks, asset managers and a Protech.
The boundary matters. AI does the analysis; it does not make the call. The angle, the message, the relationship with the journalist and the decision to speak stay with the team. Text output has become fast, commoditised and copyable. Judgement has not. The wealth management industry continues to evolve rapidly. How are your marketing strategies adapting to meet changing client expectations and market dynamics? Two shifts are driving our strategy. Newsroom bandwidth is shrinking while inboxes fill with machine-written commentary, so the premium has moved to pitches with a defensible angle. And clients have mostly stopped simply counting clippings; they ask whether they were part of the conversation that mattered. That changes the operating model: from a calendar-driven cadence, where a firm speaks because the quarter demands it, to a signal-driven one, where it speaks because a window has opened. A CIO's time is the scarcest asset in the chain, and our job is to spend it on more impactful, better-timed interventions. Winning a WealthBriefing Innovation in Marketing Award is a significant achievement. What does this recognition mean for your team, and how does it reflect your firm's wider ambitions? Recognition from an independent jury of practitioners matters mainly as evidence for a bet we took early: that AI's value in communications sits upstream of writing, in data aggregation and pattern identification. That bet now shapes where we invest. Over the coming months we will open COSMOS to new clients as a subscription attached to our press relations offering, deepen the data it draws on, and keep the team small and senior.

Spark Capital: Scaling Institutional Trust into Private Wealth Aashish Mudbidri Group Head – Branding & Corporate Communication SPARK CAPITAL
Winner • Marketing Individual (Asia) - Aashish Mudbidri
S
park Capital Advisors is a diversified financial services group with over 25 years of institutional credibility across Investment Banking, Asset Management, Alternative Investments, and Private Wealth Management. Spark Capital PWM serves ultra-highnet-worth individuals, family offices, promoters, and entrepreneurs across 12 Indian cities and Dubai DIFC. Assets under Management have scaled from INR 3,000 crores in April 2023 to INR 52,250 crores (approximately USD 5.2 billion) by August 2026, driven by organic growth and client referrals. Aashish Mudbidri, Group Head – Branding & Corporate Communication, has been named 'Marketing Individual of the Year (Asia)' at the WealthBriefing Awards 2026. Your firm has been recognised for marketing innovation. What do you believe has been the key factor behind your success, and what makes your approach stand out? Spark Capital's private wealth practice carried two and a half decades of institutional credibility through Investment Banking and Asset Management. Translating that legacy for UHNW families and entrepreneurs, without diluting it, was the central task. India's UHNW audience makes wealth decisions through relationships, not advertising. The credible path was intellectual contribution – being present in conversations that matter. Our founders were clear about what Spark Capital stands for: Knowledge, Integrity, Trust, and Partnerships – values embedded in how our teams engage with clients. Can you tell us about the campaign or initiative that you feel best demonstrates your team's creativity and impact? Two platforms stand out. The ET NOW Family Business Excellence Summit & Awards 2025 was co-created with Times Network as original intellectual property. Built around "Legacy Isn't Just Inherited. It's Earned," its advisory board included Naina Lal Kidwai,
Nadir Godrej, Ameera Shah, and Harsh Mariwala. Arpita Vinay, Senior MD & CEO of Spark Capital PWM, delivered the opening keynote and moderated the next-generation leadership panel. The summit attracted 300+ family business leaders, driving 104% social media follower growth and new UHNW advisory conversations. As 'Co-Powered By' partner at the ET NOW Global Business Summit 2026, featuring Prime Minister Narendra Modi, our leadership addressed 200+ UHNW delegates, generating 900 million+ in reach and ₹6.8 crore in estimated media value. Both platforms reflect the same conviction: earn your place in the room. Winning a WealthBriefing Award is a significant achievement. What does this recognition mean for your team, and how does it reflect your firm's wider ambitions? It affirms that building deliberately, with integrity and a long-term view, creates more durable brand equity than volume-led campaigns. Recognition at WealthBriefing, alongside Euromoney and other global awards, reflects the institution as much as its marketing. Our ambition is a reputation built on intellectual leadership and client value. Looking ahead, what excites you most about the future of marketing in wealth management, and where do you see the greatest opportunities for innovation? The next-generation UHNW audience is globally connected and demands authentic engagement. Building communities where families engage on succession, governance, and legacy is an opportunity – create that room, and they return and trust the institution behind it. Ultimately, no platform can substitute for the client experience. Everyone who interacts with a client is the face of Spark Capital. If those interactions reflect Knowledge, Integrity, Trust, and Partnerships, the brand will take care of itself.

Turning Technical Expertise into Marketing Impact Imane Rimi Sitaïl Chief Marketing Officer & Head of International Go-to-Market SpeciTec SA
Winner • Marketing Individual (Europe) - Imane Rimi Sitaïl
Your firm has been recognised for marketing innovation. What has been the key factor behind your success? For me, the starting point is understanding what matters to the people making decisions. In private banking, credibility comes from knowing the operational realities behind the conversation: credit risk, compliance, client experience and the practicalities of implementing technology. SpeciTec is a Geneva-based technology company with more than 20 years of experience. Its solutions cover credit and risk management through SpeciCRED, compliance and client lifecycle management through SpeciVIM, and mobile banking. It also provides recruitment and consulting through SpeciTec Talent and develops applied AI through its AI Lab. Its track record includes more than 250 implementations and 5,000 users. My role is to translate that depth of expertise into a clear, relevant story. I believe our approach stands out because we connect technical substance with the questions buyers need answered. Every communication should help someone understand a problem, assess an option or make a better-informed decision. Which initiative best demonstrates your team's creativity and impact? The evolution of our positioning and digital presence is meaningful to me. We brought our offer into a clearer narrative: three solutions, one private banking platform, available independently or together. That thinking shaped our website, product messaging, editorial content and sales materials. The creative challenge was to make a complex offer easier to understand while preserving the detail that specialist audiences expect. Our APAC webinar series illustrates this approach. It creates space for discussions, with replays and supporting resources
extending their usefulness beyond the live sessions. Similarly, our client user groups bring product experts and banking practitioners into conversation. For me, the value is in connecting these activities. A webinar, an article and a product page should build understanding progressively, giving prospective clients a coherent experience across different touchpoints. How are your strategies adapting to changing client expectations and market dynamics? I see a growing need for specificity. A credit director, compliance officer and technology leader may be evaluating the same provider, but each needs different answers. We therefore shape content around their responsibilities and decisions, while maintaining a consistent brand. Internationally, that also means recognising regional priorities rather than simply reproducing the same message everywhere. I want our marketing to be useful before a sales conversation begins: explaining use cases, addressing implementation questions and making our expertise easier to find through search and educational content. What does this recognition mean for you and your team? Winning Marketing Individual (Europe) is a personal honour, but the work behind it is collaborative. It reflects the expertise and trust of colleagues across product, sales, technology and leadership. It also reinforces my conviction that marketing belongs close to business strategy. Our ambition is to make SpeciTec's expertise more visible internationally, while maintaining the precision, relevance and credibility that earned our clients' trust.

Creativity, Connection and Client Impact Your firm has been recognised for marketing innovation. What do you believe has been the key factor behind your success, and what makes your approach stand out? I believe our success comes from staying relentlessly focused on the client. In wealth management, people don't connect with products, they connect with aspirations, experiences, and trusted relationships. What has helped us stand out is our ability to combine creativity with commercial impact. We think beyond traditional banking marketing and create content people genuinely want to engage with, while contributing to business growth and stronger client relationships.
Karim Ali Head, Wealth and Retail Bank Marketing, UAE, Africa and Middle East Standard Chartered
Winner • Marketing Innovation (Middle East) • Marketing Individual (Middle East) - Karim Ali
Can you tell us about the campaign, initiative, or strategy that you feel best demonstrates your team's creativity and impact? The Liverpool FC Anfield social media campaign comes to mind. Rather than simply promoting an event, we focused on capturing the emotions and experiences of our clients and telling those stories authentically. We leveraged real moments, real reactions, and a first-person perspective that allowed audiences to feel part of the experience. It transformed a premium client engagement into compelling content that created aspiration, strengthened brand affinity, and showcased our Priority Private proposition. How are technologies such as AI, automation, or data analytics influencing the way your firm approaches marketing and client engagement? AI, automation, and analytics are helping us understand clients better, personalise communications, and make smarter decisions. I see technology as an enabler rather than a replacement for creativity. Data can tell us what clients are doing, but creativity and the human element help us understand why it matters. The opportunity lies in combining both to deliver personalised experiences while maintaining the human connection and trust fundamental to wealth management.
The wealth management industry continues to evolve rapidly. How are your marketing strategies adapting to meet changing client expectations and market dynamics? Clients today expect the same level of personalisation and convenience from their bank that they receive from the world's leading brands. They are also more informed, globally connected, and seeking trusted guidance. We're responding by becoming more client-centric, data-driven, and focused on the overall client journey. We're investing in thought leadership, personalised engagement, and premium experiences that provide value beyond traditional banking conversations and position us as a trusted partner. Winning a WealthBriefing Innovation in Marketing Award is a significant achievement. What does this recognition mean for your team? It's a proud moment for all of us. While I'm honoured to receive the individual award as well, I see both awards as recognition of the collective effort behind them. Great marketing is always a team sport. This recognition validates the creativity, passion, and commitment of a team that continually pushes boundaries. It also reflects Standard Chartered's ambition to deliver innovative, impactful, and client-centric marketing that supports our growth as a leading international wealth manager. Looking ahead, what excites you most about the future of marketing in wealth management? What excites me most is the opportunity to create increasingly personalised and meaningful client experiences. As technology advances, marketers will have more tools to deliver relevant content, insights, and engagement at scale. At the same time, human connection will become even more valuable. The firms that succeed will combine innovation, data, and creativity while never losing sight of the trust at the heart of every wealth management relationship.

From Options to Opportunity: The Marketing Innovation Behind STS Digital Winner • Marketing Innovation (Asia)
Karen Bertoli - Chief Marketing Officer (Global) STS Digital Ltd.
S
TS Digital is a regulated digital-asset trading firm specialising in derivatives, options, spot trading and structured products for institutional clients. We provide access to options on 400+ tokens and have traded more than $5 billion in cumulative option notional. Our ambition is straightforward: build institutional-grade infrastructure for a market that is becoming increasingly sophisticated – and communicate that proposition in a way that is equally sophisticated.
brand identity. It allowed us to talk about everything from options and structured products to portfolio margining through one consistent and recognisable lens. Most importantly, it gave STS Digital a voice. In a market where many firms can sound remarkably similar, having a distinctive creative identity matters.
Your firm has been recognised for marketing innovation. What do you believe has been the key factor behind your success, and what makes your approach stand out? For me, great marketing starts with a very simple question: what makes people stop, think and remember? When I joined STS Digital, I wanted to build a brand that didn't simply explain what we do, but created a distinctive point of view around why it matters. We operate in a highly technical market, so our challenge was to make complex products feel relevant, intelligent and accessible without ever diluting the sophistication of our audience. That thinking led to our flagship campaign: “It’s good to have Options.”
Winning a WealthBriefing Innovation in Marketing Award is a significant achievement. What does this recognition mean for your team? It means a tremendous amount because this award recognises not just an idea, but the execution behind it. My team and I immediately had a connection from day one. We work swiftly and without noise, we are extremely agile and, most importantly, we really like each other so there is a nice bit of respect too! That combination is powerful. We challenge each other, move quickly and don't spend unnecessary time getting in our own way. The result is a team that can take an idea from concept to execution remarkably fast while maintaining a high standard. Winning this award is recognition of that chemistry and of what happens when creativity, strategy and execution come together.
Can you tell us about the campaign, initiative, or strategy that you feel best demonstrates your team's creativity and impact? “It’s good to have Options” became much more than a tagline. It became a creative platform for the entire STS Digital brand. Options are literally what we trade, but the word also represents something much bigger: choice, flexibility, risk management and the ability to respond to changing market conditions. That gave us an enormous creative canvas. We deliberately built the campaign around simplicity and confidence. Instead of overwhelming audiences with financial jargon, we could take sophisticated institutional products and communicate the underlying idea in a way that was memorable. The campaign became a thread running through our product launches, events, social content, thought leadership and broader
Looking ahead, what excites you most about the future of marketing in wealth management, and where do you see the greatest opportunities for innovation? The greatest opportunity is to make sophisticated financial products feel human without making them simplistic. AI, data and automation will dramatically improve how marketers understand audiences and deliver personalised experiences, but I don't believe technology replaces creativity. It makes creativity more powerful. The future belongs to firms that can combine deep product expertise, intelligent technology and genuinely memorable storytelling. At STS Digital, that's exactly what we are building and I think we're only getting started.

Humanising Wealth Management Marketing
S
ummitas provides a secure, cloud-based engagement and operating platform for family offices, wealth management firms, RIAs, law firms, and ultra-highnet-worth families. For nearly two decades, the Summitas Platform® has helped organisations strengthen communication, collaboration, and governance while safeguarding sensitive client information – earning nearly 20 industry awards for innovation, usability, and impact. Your firm has been recognised for marketing innovation. What do you believe has been the key factor behind your success, and what makes your approach stand out? It comes down to never treating marketing as separate from the product experience. Summitas focuses exclusively on ultra-high-net-worth families, family offices, and the wealth managers serving them – so our creative team isn't marketing a generic fintech tool; we're telling the story of something we helped build for a specific, discerning audience. How are technologies such as AI, automation, or data analytics influencing the way your firm approaches marketing and client engagement?
Lori Barnett Senior Creative Director Summitas, LLC
We use automation and analytics for segmentation, tracking, and content performance so that we can spend our time on judgment and craft. AI helps us iterate faster and test more directions than we'd otherwise afford. Data and automation make us more personal at scale – since this audience expects to be treated as individuals, not segments. The wealth management industry continues to evolve rapidly. How are your marketing strategies adapting to meet changing client expectations and market dynamics? The biggest marketing shift is generational: trillions of dollars are moving to heirs who expect the same immediacy, transparency, and control from their wealth relationship as any other app on their phone. Speaking to both young and older audiences is the real marketing challenge: keeping the brand as modern as the platform, without chasing trends at the expense of trust. Winning a WealthBriefing Innovation in Marketing Award is a significant achievement. What does this recognition mean for your team, and how does it reflect your firm's wider ambitions? It means a great deal. Summitas has been recognised before for the platform itself as an innovator in wealth technology, but the marketing behind that story rarely gets the spotlight in this industry. For our team, it validates treating marketing as a strategic function, not a support one. It also reflects our ambition to set the standard for how wealth firms communicate – with the same rigor we bring to the technology. Looking ahead, what excites you most about the future of marketing in wealth management, and where do you see the greatest opportunities for innovation?
Winner • Marketing Individual (Americas) - Lori Barnett
I'm excited about making a traditionally conservative industry feel more human without sacrificing the trust and discretion customers expect. AI personalisation means we can speak to a customer's actual life stage instead of a generic persona – but there's real white space for firms willing to tell authentic, specific stories. That's where the next wave of innovation will come from, and it's the space Summitas intends to keep leading.

How Public Relations Strategies are Changing for Family Offices and UHNW Wealth Firms Why can’t ultra-high-net-worth wealth management firms and family offices rely on the same public relations strategies used by broader financial services companies? Because the audience is fundamentally different. Most public relations programs are designed to maximise visibility. For family offices and UHNW wealth management firms, the goal is to maximise credibility. These firms serve a limited number of clients, and their prospects make decisions based on trust, discretion, expertise, and personal referrals rather than broad brand recognition.
Ray Hennessey CEO Vocatus
The wealth management industry is also highly relationship-driven. The people who influence business outcomes are not just potential clients, but attorneys, accountants, consultants, private bankers, and other centers of influence. Effective communications therefore require a deep understanding of the ecosystem and the media and industry conversations that shape perceptions within it. Generic business coverage may create awareness, but targeted visibility in respected wealth management, family office, and private wealth channels creates much greater business value. How is artificial intelligence changing the communications landscape for family offices and UHNW advisory firms?
Winner • Marketing Campaign (Americas) • Marketing Individual (Americas) - Ray Hennessey
A: AI is rapidly transforming how information is discovered, evaluated, and shared. Increasingly, journalists, investors, advisors, and even prospective clients are using AI-powered search tools and assistants to identify experts, summarise firms, and compare service providers. As a result, public relations needs to focus on a digital footprint that consistently reinforces expertise across multiple channels. Firms with a strong library of thought leadership, media citations, and educational content are more likely to be surfaced by AI-driven tools. Firms that maintain a limited public presence may find themselves invisible in an environment where
machines increasingly influence discovery and reputation. At the same time, AI is flooding the market with generic content. That makes authentic expertise even more valuable. Elite advisory firms cannot compete by publishing more content. They must compete by publishing better content, informed by real-world experience working with wealthy families, business owners, and complex multigenerational wealth issues. As AI expands access to information, human credibility becomes a more important differentiator. Recent research also shows that meaningful AI adoption is becoming concentrated among larger, more sophisticated wealth management firms, signaling that technology and communications strategy are becoming increasingly interconnected. What does successful public relations look like for UHNW firms in an AI-driven future? A: The most effective communications programs will combine earned media, executive visibility, original research, conference participation, digital content, and strategic social media into a single reputationbuilding effort. Family offices and UHNW wealth managers possess something AI cannot replicate: trusted relationships, decades of experience, and nuanced judgment developed through real client interactions. The role of public relations is to make that expertise visible and discoverable. Firms that consistently articulate their point of view on markets, wealth transfer, governance, philanthropy, private investments, and family dynamics will become go-to resources for reporters, referral partners, and prospective clients. In an AI-driven world, reputation compounds. Every article, interview, and executive insight becomes another data point reinforcing a firm's authority. For UHNW firms, specialised public relations is a strategic asset that helps transform expertise into influence, influence into trust, and trust into long-term growth.
