AfewimportantreminderstoallGSVparticipants:
AsyouarerepresentingMLCinallinterschoolsportsitisexpectedthatyouareinfulland correctuniform.Thisincludesboththeplayinguniform(MLCsportstop)andyourwarm outerweartotraveltoandfrommatchesin(MLCSportsUniform).Coacheswillbeonthe lookoutofanynon-uniformitemsinthefollowingweeks
MLCwillsupplystudentswithallrequiredequipmenttoborrowiftheydonothavetheirown, e.g.ShinGuardsandRacquets.However,itisveryimportantthatthesearereturnedthe sameday Thesewillbeneededforallteamsovertheweek,sotheyarenottobekeptin yourownbagsortakenhome.
Nowthatteamshavebeenfinalisedyourcoachesandteammatesarerelyingonyouto turnupplayeachweek.Ifyoupulloutthereisachancethatyouleaveyourteamshort,and theteammayneedtoforfeit Pleasemakeeveryefforttogettoallmatchesandtraining sessions.
Wedounderstandthatattimesyoumaybeunwellorinjuredbutitisexpectedthatyou communicateanyabsencesassoonasyoucan.Youshouldcontactyourcoachdirectlyto givethemasmuchnoticeaspossible.
ForallstudentswhoaretravellingtoAWAYmatchesyouarepermittedtoleaveclassat 2.50pm. Youwillbeattendancetracked.Youarethentomeetyourcoachespromptlyat theChapelcarparktobetickedoffandonthebusby3pm.Theremaybetimeswhen teamsaretravellingalongdistancetocompete,thismeetingtimemaybeearlier.Thiswill beclearlycommunicatedinTeamschatgroups
IfyouareplayingHOMEyoudonotleaveclassearly AttheendofPeriod6youmakeyour waytothePECtomeetyourcoachesandbetickedoff.Therewillthenbewarmuptime whileweawaittheotherschooltoarrive.
WeunderstandthatyouronlinetimetablenowshowsyourGSVcommitments,howeverthis isfortheattendancetrackingpurposes Youwillbetoldyourteamsexactmeetingtime weeklybyyourcoach,oryoucancheckbelowinthefixturesummaryifyouareplaying homeorawayeachweek.
