A Fantastic First Week of GSV for Term 2!
Read on to get all the information you need for your training and all the Round 2 fixture and venue allocations.
Remember there are many places you can check for your weekly match updates: This Around the Grounds email, straight to your inbox each Friday Your myMLC timetable, both your training and matches are now listed on there The brown boxes will have exact venue and opponent details Finally, any Teams chats your coach may have set up
Stay Informed: There may be last-minute changes to fixtures, teams, or venues GSV Sport planning is quite dynamic, so please be proactive by regularly checking your team's communications and announcements. Make sure to keep your parents informed of any changes as well.
Commitment Matters: It is crucial to be dedicated to your team. A significant amount of effort has been invested in trials and team selections, and not showing up or withdrawing at the last minute can let your teammates and coaches down Please communicate any absences or illness as soon as possible to assist coaches in their planning.
If you no longer wish to participate in GSV this term, please email gilcril@mcl.vic.edu.au so that you can be removed from the team lists and make your coach aware
HOCKEY TRAINING UPDATE -
Please aim to drop off at 6 45am to ensure the teams are able to train for the full hour. All age groups are training together (JS/MS/SS) at Hawthorn Hockey with a drop off point at Robinson Rd, we will be using both pitches from this week If you have a stick or shin pads, please bring them to training, and don’t forget your mouthguards!
MLC GSV UNIFORM- All players are required to wear their MLC Sports Uniform when representing the school This is particularly important when we leave the school grounds and play against other schools. As per the recent Student Uniform Updates, unless you have PE practical classes on the same day as GSV training or matches you must change out of/ into your academic uniform for classes
For each sport there are various uniform requirements, please see your sport below. Overall, please remember no coloured house tops, non-MLC hoodies or old MLC uniforms.
