ACCLAIM | WEALTHBRIEFINGASIA RECOGNISES LEADERS ACROSS THE GLOBAL WEALTH MANAGEMENT INDUSTRY

Annum Capital: Capturing the Strategic Value of AI Winner • Best Alternative Investment Manager

Annum Capital

A

nnum Capital has a dual DNA: a leading External Asset Manager (EAM) advising clients on investments and succession planning, and an investment house focused on alpha generation with a high-touch approach. AI as a Revolution Annum believes AI is the most significant technological revolution since electricity. Its impact will extend across industries, economies, governments, and how individuals interact with the world.

Over recent years, Annum’s team has researched AI business models, financial metrics, and real-world adoption across infrastructure providers, chip manufacturers, enterprise software firms, consumer platforms, and energy companies. The conclusion is clear: AI is already embedded in the real economy, and its monetisation path is more mature than many assume. Investing in the AI Ecosystem Annum deploys capital across public and private markets to capture AI opportunities. In public markets, the firm analyses chipmakers, software integrators, and companies applying AI in defence, logistics, and healthcare. In private markets, Annum recently led the Asia tranche of a primary investment into a US-based AI company, attracting capital from its fund and global clients. The firm is also active in secondaries, sourcing high-quality Asian AI companies with global ambition. Annum reviews a large pipeline of opportunities, many of which are rejected, positioning the firm as a filter for clients navigating a complex market. AI as Infrastructure Annum is not only investing in AI — it is also operating through it. Its AI platform, “Wealth Pilot,” supports client onboarding,

trade execution, reporting, product evaluation, and portfolio diagnostics. AI is also used in private market due diligence to validate counterparties, analyse documentation, and identify red flags. The firm is embedding AI into its processes to create “fusion,” where information, analytics, and human judgement combine to improve decision-making. At the same time, AI introduces “tension” by challenging assumptions and surfacing new perspectives, creating a more resilient platform. AI and the Hong Kong LPF As Vice Chair of the Hong Kong Limited Partnership Fund Association, Annum is helping position AI as a catalyst for fund ecosystem development. While the LPF regime is well designed, adoption remains gradual, particularly among overseas managers deterred by its learning curve. AI can help change this by automating fund setup, administration, due diligence, capital calls, portfolio monitoring, and fee calculations. This could strengthen the LPF’s competitiveness versus Cayman, Luxembourg, and Singapore — important for family offices investing in Asia. AI Makes Independent Wealth Management More Sustainable A common assumption in the EAM and multi-family office sector is that fragmentation will inevitably lead to consolidation. However, AI is reducing operating costs across portfolio management, compliance systems, and data infrastructure. As boutique firms become more efficient with lower fixed costs, the economic rationale for consolidation weakens. M&A will still continue, driven by expansion, cross-selling, or succession planning, where firms partner to preserve legacy while enabling transition.

ACCLAIM | WEALTHBRIEFINGASIA RECOGNISES LEADERS ACROSS THE GLOBAL WEALTH MANAGEMENT INDUSTRY

A Career Built on Relationships, Adaptability and Global Experience What do you think has helped shape your career in bringing you to this point? A combination of factors has shaped my career. My bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management and master’s degree in Business Economics provided a strong foundation for private banking, combining relationship management and commercial understanding. I was also fortunate to have excellent mentors, particularly during the first decade of my career. Networking has always played a major role in my development, alongside a genuine passion for the industry. When speaking to students, I always emphasise the importance of mentors, strong networks, and social skills alongside technical expertise. Who do you consider having the biggest influence in your career? Without question, my wife Claire. Over the past 25 years, we have moved house or country more than 10 times while raising three children. Building an international career requires enormous commitment, including long hours, travel, and client engagements outside normal working hours. Without her support and understanding, I would not have achieved the success I have today. Why did you choose to enter this industry and how in your view has it changed since you started? I entered banking intentionally, though not initially private banking. Early in my career, I realised private banking was one of the most rewarding sectors within finance because of the highly personal relationships with clients, many of whom are exceptional individuals with unique stories. Despite advances in AI and technology, I believe private banking will remain one of the few financial disciplines where human relationships continue to drive success. Where in the world have you spent your career and what did you like most about the places where you have been based?

I began my career 28 years ago in the Netherlands through a financial markets graduate programme before leading the FX and structured products desk at a Dutch private bank. After seven years, I relocated to Singapore to help develop the private banking business in Asia. I have now spent 21 years in Asia, across Singapore and Hong Kong, and greatly value the region’s dynamism, lifestyle, and growth opportunities. How have you managed to have such a productive and absorbing career in private banking? It helps enormously to genuinely enjoy what you do. I have always focused strongly on clients and their needs, and over time many professional relationships have evolved into personal friendships. That trust and connection have been instrumental in building a long and fulfilling career. When do you think it is a suitable time to take stock of a career and decide whether to try something else or stay? Many factors can trigger reflection – reorganisations, financial crises, personal circumstances, or feeling that you have stayed in the same role for too long. I experienced such a moment last year when I moved from Indosuez Wealth Management to Crédit Agricole CIB as a coverage banker focused on private banking and wealth management clients. The move opened up a new area of banking while keeping me connected to the private banking industry.

Arjan de Boer Managing Director, Head of Private Banks Coverage for Asia-Pacific Crédit Agricole

Please sum up how you feel about receiving this award. Having attended the WealthBriefingAsia award galas in Hong Kong and Singapore for many years, I have always held this award in high regard. To be recognised by the judging panel and respected peers across the industry is something I am immensely proud of and gives me strong motivation to continue on this path.

Leadership, Innovation, and Trust at the Heart of Sustainable Growth Ross Munro Chief Executive Officer Ascentium Private Client

Winner • Institutional Trust or Fiduciary Company

How do you cultivate a culture that consistently drives excellence and high performance? Culture is what determines whether high performance is sustainable. In our industry, technical capability is expected; what differentiates firms is consistency, accountability, and how people operate when stakes are high. At Ascentium, we place a strong emphasis on ownership. We want our people to think like advisers, not administrators. That means understanding the commercial objective behind every structure, anticipating issues before they arise, and being accessible when clients need us most. We also believe high performance comes from clarity and trust. People perform best when expectations are clear, collaboration is strong, and there is a shared commitment to delivering consistently high standards over time. How do you identify and develop future leaders within your organisation? We identify future leaders by looking at how people exercise judgement, take responsibility, and build trust with clients and colleagues. At Ascentium, we give emerging talent early exposure to client relationships, cross-border work, and complex transactions so they develop commercial judgement alongside technical expertise. Mentorship is also important. Many of our senior leaders bring decades of experience, and passing on that knowledge helps develop the confidence and perspective future leaders need. What are the key challenges you foresee in wealth management over the next five years, and how are you positioning your business to meet them? The key challenge over the next five years will be balancing increasing regulatory and compliance demands with clients’ expectations for faster, more transparent, and more seamless service de-

livery. The traditional operating model in wealth management and fiduciary services is under pressure, particularly as clients become more internationally mobile and structures more complex. We have been positioning ourselves proactively to meet these challenges. Our rebrand from Harneys Fiduciary to Ascentium earlier this year was not simply a change of name, but a strategic evolution designed to create a more agile, internationally connected business. As part of the wider Ascentium platform, we now operate across 24 markets and 45 cities with more than 2,300 professionals, giving us greater scale, broader expertise, and stronger cross-border capabilities to support clients in increasingly sophisticated international environments. We are continuing to invest heavily in technology, operational efficiency, and data management to improve consistency, responsiveness, and risk management across our business. However, while technology will play a critical role, we believe fiduciary services will remain relationship-led. Human judgement, commercial understanding, and trusted adviser relationships continue to be fundamental, particularly when clients are navigating sensitive or complex situations. Where do you draw inspiration for innovation – within the wealth industry or beyond it? We draw inspiration from both, but some of the most useful lessons come from outside the wealth and fiduciary industry. Clients compare service experiences across all sectors, not just within financial services. Expectations around responsiveness, transparency, and ease of interaction are being shaped by industries that have invested heavily in technology and client experience. That challenges us to think beyond traditional fiduciary models and continually improve how we communicate, use technology, and deliver services more efficiently, while still preserving the personal judgement and trusted relationships that remain central to our work.

Avaloq Recognised for Innovation and Leadership in Asia’s Wealth Technology Market

A

valoq has received two major accolades at this year’s WealthBriefingAsia Awards for Excellence, winning 'Overall Asia WealthTech Provider' and 'Most Innovative WealthTech Solution'. Together, these awards reflect the breadth of Avaloq’s platform and the growing impact of its AI-enabled innovation. What makes Avaloq’s platform stand out in Asia? The Overall Asia WealthTech Provider award, based on feedback from our clients, highlights the strength of Avaloq’s integrated platform. Designed to support the full wealth management value chain, it brings together portfolio management, trading, settlement, client lifecycle management, regulatory reporting and digital banking within a single architecture. This unified approach enables front office, investment management and back-office processes to operate on a shared data foundation, improving efficiency, consistency and scalability across operations. A key pillar of this proposition is Avaloq’s scalable, cloud-enabled model. Its standardised SaaS offering enables financial institutions to access continuously updated capabilities, while supporting expansion across markets and regulatory environments. At the same time, Avaloq’s digital engagement tools, spanning mobile and web-based solutions, enhance both client and adviser experiences through real-time insights, streamlined workflows and consistent data access. The platform is also designed with future market developments in mind. From supporting digital assets such as crypto, to enabling real-time payments and open finance integration, Avaloq provides the flexibility required to respond to shifting client expectations and regulatory change. Underpinning these capabilities is a strong data foundation, enabling improved decision-making and the development of more advanced analytics and personalised services over time. With our innovative products and services, we support financial institutions in guiding clients along the wealth continuum: from initial onboarding for retail accounts

through to more complex wealth services as their assets grow and their financial needs change. This enables a seamless experience over time, allowing banks to serve clients consistently, scale efficiently and address a broader range of client segments. How is Avaloq embedding AI into its offerings to deliver outcomes? The Most Innovative WealthTech Solution award recognises Avaloq’s unique approach to artificial intelligence. Rather than offering standalone tools, Avaloq embeds AI directly into banking processes and workflows, ensuring it delivers productivity and efficiency gains in day-to-day operations. Central to this approach is agentic AI that can reason, execute tasks and apply business rules within the context of real banking processes. This allows AI to operate within established controls and governance frameworks – critical factors in highly regulated environments. This is already delivering measurable impact. In the back office, Avaloq’s Corporate Actions AI Agent automates one of the most complex operational processes, using generative AI to interpret unstructured data and link outputs directly to source documentation. In software development, our domain-specific coding assistant accelerates delivery and reduces onboarding time. Why do these matter for the future of wealth management? Together, these capabilities highlight a consistent approach built on a robust core platform that delivers automation, enhanced risk management and compliance. In addition, our clients can leverage targeted innovation, including in the front office, to boost adviser productivity, enabling them to deliver personalised services to a larger client base. This is particularly relevant in Asia, where evolving regulatory requirements and continued growth in wealth management are shaping client needs. Institutions need technology that allows them to scale their offerings, enter new markets and adapt to change without adding unnecessary complexity or cost.

Setting a New Standard: How BankPro is Redefining Digital Private Banking in Asia

B

ankPro won two awards at the WealthBriefingAsia Acclaim Awards: 'Investment Management Platform' and 'Innovative Client Solution'. CEO Paolo Broccardo explains how a private digital bank built in the Bahamas is capturing the attention of Asia's most sophisticated wealth management clients. What has been the most impactful innovation your firm introduced recently, and how has it shaped client outcomes or internal efficiency? BankPro is a private digital bank headquartered in Nassau, The Bahamas, serving high-net-worth individuals and internationally mobile businesses across Asia and other continents. We hold an International Banking Licence from the Central Bank of The Bahamas and an Investment Services Licence from the Securities Commission of The Bahamas. Backed by the ProCapital Group, BankPro combines institutional credibility with a modern, fully digital platform. The most impactful innovation we have introduced is the seamless integration of multi-currency banking with direct investment access across 2,500+ global stocks and ETFs. For our clients in Asia, this means they can hold, spend, and transfer funds in over 20 currencies while simultaneously managing a diversified investment portfolio from the same dashboard. There is no separate brokerage account, no delayed transfers between platforms, and no friction. For clients across Singapore, Hong Kong, and the wider region where cross-border wealth management is a daily reality, this integration has transformed how they operate. They can move cash from a USD operating account into an equity position in seconds. They can set spending limits on corporate cards while tracking portfolio performance in real time. How do you cultivate a culture that consistently drives excellence and high performance? We cultivate excellence by hiring highly experienced financial services professionals and giving them the tools and autonomy to build without legacy constraints. Our team combines deep private banking knowledge with a product-led mindset. We encourage calculated risk-taking, rapid iteration based on client feedback, and a relentless focus on compliance as an enabler rather than a barrier. We also maintain a flat enough structure with 24/7 customer service, so ideas flow quickly from client-facing teams to product development.

Paolo Broccardo CEO BankPro

What does winning this award mean to your firm, and how will you use this recognition going forward? Winning the 'Investment Management Platform' and 'Innovative Client Solution' awards from WealthBriefingAsia is significant validation for BankPro. They recognise our ability to deliver institutional-grade investment tools within a private banking environment designed for high-net-worth clients. We will use this recognition to accelerate our expansion across Asia. The awards give us credibility with prospective clients and introduction partners. They also reinforce to our team that we are building something genuinely unique to meet the needs of globally minded individuals and businesses. Where do you draw inspiration for innovation? We look beyond traditional wealth management. We study how leading technology companies design client experiences and how global marketplaces remove friction from complex transactions. At the same time, we remain deeply grounded in the regulatory and compliance standards that private banking requires. Our inspiration comes from the intersection of consumer-grade design and institutional-grade infrastructure. That is where BankPro lives.

Kylie Lo Executive Director BDO Tax Advisory Pte. Ltd

Collaboration as a Competitive Strength Collaboration is central to BDO PCS’s success. Internally, teams across business lines work seamlessly to provide holistic advice. Externally, BDO collaborates closely with its international network, major financial institutions and other professional partners. This collaborative model has enabled the firm to implement more than 50% of the tax structures currently in the market. As a recognised market leader, BDO is also in regular dialogue with government agencies, contributing constructive feedback that helps shape industry practices and regulatory developments. Navigating the Future of Wealth Management Looking ahead, the wealth management landscape is expected to face increasing regulatory complexity, heightened transparency requirements and growing expectations around succession planning and multi generational wealth preservation. BDO PCS is positioning itself to meet these challenges by staying ahead of regulatory change, deepening regional and global connectivity, and continuing to refine solutions for family governance, estate planning and sustainable wealth structures. Winning this award is both an affirmation of the team’s dedication and a motivation to continue raising the bar. With a growing population of affluent families in Asia Pacific, BDO PCS remains committed to supporting private clients through an evolving landscape – helping them manage, preserve and pass on their wealth with confidence for generations to come. This recognition reinforces BDO’s resolve to invest in talent and regional capabilities, ensuring trusted advice that adapts to client needs across generations.

B

We deliver this through four integrated service lines: • Wealth Planning, providing comprehensive structuring and family governance advisory, ensuring that every plan is properly executed and sustained over the long term, accompanying families through every stage of their journey; • Family Trust Management, offering bespoke trust structuring and long-term fiduciary management, as one of the earliest Hong Kong licensed independent trust companies; • Trust Fund Management, overseeing clients' trust portfolios under a “Manager-of-Managers” framework in coordination with rigorously selected external institutional asset managers; • Private Client Administration, delivering family office administration and lifestyle support, alongside company secretarial services for private companies under family asset-holding structures. Our culture is built on a people-centric philosophy and enduring alignment of interests between our clients, our firm and our people. BIPPO has no financial investors, pursues no public listing, and does not collect distribution commissions from trust fund management services. This structure enables us to focus on long-term relationships rather than short-term transactions. We view wealth planning as an ongoing process, not a one-time exercise. By creating highly customised strategies that reflect each family's values and aspirations, we help clients safeguard their wealth and legacy across generations. Discretion, stability and integrity remain at the core of everything we do.

What are the key challenges you foresee in wealth management over the next five years, and how are you positioning your business to meet them? Rapid wealth creation, market volatility, regulatory complexity and geopolitical uncertainty are testing the resilience of family wealth structures. In this environment, traditional wealth planning alone is no longer sufficient. We believe that structures without governance are vulnerable. Even the strongest legal framework requires effective decision-making, clear governance and family alignment to succeed over the long term. BIPPO addresses these challenges by integrating wealth planning and family governance from the outset. We work closely with clients throughout the family lifecycle, helping them monitor, adapt and strengthen their structures as circumstances evolve. This ongoing approach ensures wealth strategies remain effective, resilient and aligned with long-term family objectives. What has been the most impactful innovation your firm introduced recently, and how has it shaped client outcomes or internal efficiency? One of BIPPO's most significant recent innovations has been the development of its governance and control framework. In 2025, the firm was recognised under the ESG Connect Programme by the Hong Kong Quality Assurance Agency. In early 2026, BIPPO's proprietary Multi-Family Office Internal Control Framework, developed by its in-house compliance team and benchmarked against international standards, achieved ISAE 3402 attestation from a leading global assurance firm. We continue to work with leading risk and assurance specialists to enhance the transparency, security and credibility of the trust fund management process while contributing to the development of governance standards across the multi-family office sector. Families entrust us with their legacies and long-term continuity. To support them effectively, we believe we must hold ourselves to the same standards we advocate for our clients: resilient, compliant and built to endure.

Why Choose A Private Bank That is Deliberately Boutique

Winner • Independent Boutique Private Bank • Digital Assets Offering, Advice or Service • Family Office Solution

Bordier & Cie

I

n a wealth management landscape crowded by institutions looking for quick growth, Bordier & Cie stands apart by choice. Founded in 1844, it is the largest unlimited-liability private banking partnership in Switzerland, a rare model that embeds personal accountability and long-term stewardship into every decision. Privately owned and managed by the fifth generation of the founding family, the firm operates without external shareholders, proprietary products or in-house funds. Its open-architecture model is designed to keep advice independent and aligned with clients’ long-term interests. Singapore is Bordier’s Asian hub within a global group spanning three continents, six countries and twelve cities. From Singapore, the bank supports entrepreneurs, families and family offices across Asia, as well as international clients seeking exposure to the region. Innovation with intent, not novelty At Bordier, innovation is applied with purpose. New capabilities are assessed not only for opportunity, but for relevance, transparency and long-term suitability within a client’s broader wealth strategy. Regulated access to digital assets has been integrated thoughtfully into the private-banking platform, allowing clients to view and manage them alongside traditional holdings. Rather than treating them as a speculative add-on, Bordier frames digital assets within broader diversification and long-term planning, supported by governance, risk discipline and client education. The same discipline applies to private markets. Bordier gives clients access to institutional-grade private equity opportunities once reserved for large institutions, integrating them into overall portfolio construction and liquidity planning. The emphasis remains on selectivity, structure and strategic fit. A culture shaped by accountability Bordier’s partnership structure shapes its culture. Unlimited

liability encourages long-term thinking and a strong sense of responsibility, while the firm’s intentionally boutique scale keeps senior professionals close to both client relationships and investment decisions. Technology strengthens this human-led model rather than replacing it. Automation and AI are used to improve due diligence, data integrity and operational efficiency, helping the bank respond with greater consistency and precision. The objective is to free senior advisers to focus on what matters most to clients – delivering judgement, context and calm counsel in a more complex world. Collaboration that preserves control Collaboration is central to Bordier’s work with families and family offices. Rather than replacing internal structures, the bank works alongside clients to shape investment governance, provide outsourced CIO support and deliver consolidated reporting across custodians, jurisdictions and asset classes. This allows principals, family members and advisers to operate from a clearer, more unified view of risk, liquidity and long-term objectives. For many families, this single source of truth has strengthened oversight and decision-making. Today, the investment governance and OCIO mandates support large family offices, including sophisticated structures spanning multiple accounts and legal entities. Recognition with responsibility Industry recognition is both an honour and a responsibility. It reflects a philosophy rooted in stewardship, accountability and thoughtful innovation, and reinforces Bordier’s commitment to remaining deliberately boutique in a market that prizes scale. Ultimately, Bordier measures success by its relevance across generations: helping families preserve clarity, control and continuity over time. In an industry often driven by expansion and product momentum, its distinction lies in remaining focused on advice that is personal, conflict-free and designed to endure.

Matthew Chan Managing Director, Head of Product & Investment Solutions CITIC Securities Wealth Management (HK)

We view innovation as the continuous refinement of the client experience. Our recent focus has been bridging the gap between the highly digital onshore experience and traditional offshore wealth management services. By moving workflows and advisory processes online, we have improved efficiency while preserving the personalised support clients expect. This shift allows Relationship Managers to spend less time on administration and more time delivering strategic advice. We are also integrating AI tools to support clients and advisors. AI-powered agents provide instant insights into product features and portfolio metrics, helping clients make informed decisions more efficiently. These initiatives reinforce our commitment to a seamless, modern service model. Can you share a story that best illustrates your team’s commitment to client service or problem-solving?

Winner • Innovative Product or Service • Insurance Product

Our commitment is reflected in our evolution from a transactional brokerage business into a comprehensive wealth solutions provider. While many clients initially seek individual investment opportunities, our role is to guide them toward disciplined asset allocation and long-term wealth planning.

A key differentiator is our deep understanding of onshore Chinese client needs. This “China Insight” helps us identify suitable offshore investment opportunities aligned with clients’ objectives. Beyond investments, our recognition for Best Insurance Service highlights our expertise in risk management and legacy planning. We also advise clients on trusts and single-family offices to support asset protection and succession planning. What are the key challenges you foresee in wealth management over the next five years, and how are you positioning your business to meet them? The industry faces growing demand for digital efficiency, increasing regulatory complexity, and the challenge of encouraging investors to adopt a holistic approach to wealth management. To address these trends, we remain focused on three priorities. First, we continue enhancing our digital capabilities. Second, we invest in client education to promote longterm asset allocation. Third, we maintain rigorous product selection and strict compliance standards. Through our network of more than 80 leading global institutions across 15 markets, we provide clients with access to investment solutions tailored to their needs and risk profiles. What does winning this award mean to your firm, and how will you use this recognition going forward? Unblocking Financial Intelligence: A New Paradigm for the AI Era What has been the most impactful innovation your firm introduced recently, and how has it shaped client outcomes or internal efficiency? Our most impactful innovation is the deployment of Clarista AI apps for wealth management, powered by our re-architected AI Data Fabric. While AI has dramatically accelerated software development, the real challenge is ensuring compliance, governance, and data security keep pace. Clarista AI apps sit on a unified, governed data layer that connects directly to enterprise systems without creating duplicate data stores. This enables firms to deploy enterprise-grade intelligence securely and at scale.

Suvrat Bansal Founder and CEO Clarista

Two examples highlight the impact: • Advisor Brief combines CRM activity with live portfolio data, reducing client review preparation time by 40%. • Household 360 reconciles fragmented data across trusts, family structures, and business entities into a single golden record. By delivering the governance of a largescale IT program at the speed of an agile application, Clarista transforms data into a competitive advantage. What role has collaboration – either internally or with external partners – played in your success?

Winner

• Newcomer/Start-Up

Collaboration is central to both our architecture and market approach. As firms rapidly deploy AI, point-to-point integrations between systems create operational risk and uncontrolled copies of sensitive data. Clarista serves as a secure foundation where internal teams and external vendors can work together within the client’s own cloud environment. Rather than moving data to third-party platforms, we enable collaboration around client-owned data and governance frameworks. Our platform supports five operational disciplines – Data-Ops, Sec-Ops, Reg-Ops,

Dev-Ops, and Fin-Ops – ensuring innovation can scale without compromising security, compliance, or ownership. What are the key challenges you foresee in wealth management over the next five years, and how are you positioning your business to meet them? The biggest challenge will be avoiding the point-to-point integration trap and the resulting loss of data ownership. Many firms, under pressure to adopt AI quickly, are outsourcing infrastructure to platforms that normalise data into proprietary formats. While convenient initially, this can create long-term dependency. AI models are becoming increasingly interchangeable. The real strategic asset is ownership of the data, applications, and governance layer. Clarista addresses this by keeping data, applications, model APIs, and governance entirely within the client’s environment. This approach preserves flexibility, reduces vendor lock-in, and prepares firms for growing regulatory expectations around transparency and auditability. Where do you draw inspiration for innovation – within the wealth industry or beyond it? Much of our inspiration comes from the broader technology sector rather than traditional financial services. The rise of rapid application development demonstrated that organisations no longer need to choose between speed and control. We applied those lessons to a longstanding wealth management challenge: delivering the security and governance of a multi-year IT initiative at the pace of modern software development. That thinking led to solutions such as Household 360, which unifies complex family, trust, and business data into a single trusted record. We believe modern data strategy is no longer simply an infrastructure project – it is a sustainable source of competitive differentiation.

Driving Innovation, Excellence and Future-Ready Wealth Advisory Loh Kia Meng Senior Partner and Chief Operating Officer Dentons Rodyk & Davidson LLP

Winner • Legal Team - Family Office Services

What has been the most impactful innovation your firm introduced recently, and how has it shaped client outcomes or internal efficiency? The firm’s most impactful recent innovation has been the structured, firmwide adoption of Microsoft Copilot as part of its digital transformation strategy. This has delivered measurable productivity gains, with over half of users saving 1–2 hours weekly and benefiting from more consistent, higher-quality work across research, drafting and communications. Importantly, it has also improved client outcomes. Practical use cases, such as streamlining client follow-ups in billing, have enhanced responsiveness and strengthened payment cycles, helping to embed AI meaningfully into day-to-day legal practice. What are the key challenges you foresee in wealth management over the next five years, and how are you positioning your business to meet them? Over the next five years, wealth management will face increasing regulatory scrutiny, intensifying competition across global wealth hubs, and rising costs alongside more constrained investment opportunities. At the same time, client expectations are evolving, with more globally mobile and sophisticated families demanding integrated, cross-border advice. As the sector matures, there is also a growing focus on longterm governance, succession, sustainability and philanthropy. In response, we are strengthening our cross-border capabilities, regulatory expertise and holistic advisory offering to support clients across the full lifecycle of wealth – from structuring to preservation and intergenerational transfer.

How do you cultivate a culture that consistently drives excellence and high performance? At Dentons Rodyk, we drive excellence through a strong alignment of purpose, people, and continuous development. Our firmwide purpose, shaped through engagement and ongoing dialogue, creates a shared direction and high-performance mindset across the organisation. This is reinforced by an inclusive, supportive environment and a strong client-centric culture focused on responsiveness, quality and commerciality, enabling the firm to consistently deliver high performance and client excellence. Where do you draw inspiration for innovation – within the wealth industry or beyond it? We draw inspiration both from within the wealth sector and beyond it, guided by a culture that challenges traditional approaches to legal services. Internally, innovation is driven through collaboration, knowledge sharing and global perspectives. Externally, we engage with broader business, technology and academic ecosystems to stay attuned to emerging trends. This combined lens enables us to deliver innovative solutions that are both practical and forward-looking.

Building the Future of Wealth Management Through Data, Trust and Innovation

Chiara Bartoletti Managing Partner & COO Eightstone Pte Ltd

Winner • Independent Wealth Manager

What has been the most impactful innovation your firm introduced recently and how has it shaped client outcomes or internal efficiency?

What are the key challenges you foresee in wealth management over the next five years, and how are you positioning your business to meet them?

One of our most impactful innovations has not been a single technology platform, but the development of a firmwide data culture. We believe meaningful innovation is only possible when data is organised, structured and maintained effectively. Technology built on poor-quality data simply creates faster inefficiencies. By treating data as a strategic asset rather than a by-product of daily work, we have created a stronger foundation for future innovation. This approach improves consistency, reduces repetitive tasks and gives our team more time to focus on judgement, client relationships and longterm planning. For clients, the benefits are reflected in faster responses, greater clarity and a more informed advisory experience. Technology remains an enabler, but trust, discretion and human judgement continue to be at the heart of wealth management.

The next five years will be shaped by two major challenges: technology and generational change. Artificial intelligence, automation and digital platforms are transforming client expectations and operating models. The challenge is not adopting technology quickly, but adopting it responsibly while maintaining trust, governance and security. We continue to invest in both technology and the data infrastructure required to support it effectively. At the same time, a significant transfer of wealth is underway. Families are becoming increasingly global, and younger generations expect greater transparency, digital access and a stronger connection between wealth and purpose. Portfolio management remains at the core of our business, but rising costs and increasing competition require firms to operate more efficiently and at greater scale. We are positioning Eightstone to help clients navigate complexity, transition and continuity while combining innovation with trusted advice.

What role has collaboration – either internally or with external partners – played in your success? Collaboration is fundamental to our success. Wealth management today extends far beyond portfolio management and requires expertise across governance, tax, legal structuring, risk management, reporting and succession planning. Internally, we encourage strong collaboration across teams to ensure a holistic view of each client's circumstances. Maintaining this connected approach helps avoid missed opportunities and ensures better decision-making. Externally, we work closely with trusted partners whose expertise complements our own capabilities. These long-term relationships enable us to deliver more comprehensive solutions and better outcomes for clients. For us, collaboration is not simply a process; it is central to how we serve clients effectively.

What does winning this award mean to your firm, and how will you use this recognition going forward? Winning this award is meaningful because it recognises the contribution of the entire Eightstone team. Every function, from client service and investment oversight to compliance, reporting and operations, plays a vital role in delivering client outcomes. While we are proud of this recognition, we view it as motivation rather than a destination. It reinforces our commitment to investing in our people, technology and service standards. Our focus remains on continuous improvement, innovation and ensuring we are well positioned to support clients through future change and disruption.

From Core to Client: The Infrastructure Driving APAC's Wealth Ambition Patrick Mocogni Director ERI Banking Software Pte Ltd.

Winner • Onboarding Product • Core Banking Software

What role has collaboration – either internally or with external partners – played in your success? Collaboration has been fundamental to our success in APAC, where diversity, regulatory complexity, and rapid innovation make ecosystem alignment essential. Hong Kong’s strength as a wealth management hub reflects close coordination between banks, fintechs, regulators, and family offices. Internally, we have broken down silos across private banking, technology, and compliance to deliver seamless, compliant client experiences. Externally, partnerships allow us to expand capabilities and meet the expectations of increasingly digital, cross-border clients. Underpinning this is a robust core banking platform, enabling secure integration, data sharing, and scalability. In such a fragmented yet opportunity-rich region, this foundation ensures collaboration translates into consistent, long-term value. What are the key challenges you foresee in wealth management over the next five years, and how are you positioning your business to meet them? Over the next five years, APAC wealth management will be shaped by the rapid expansion of the mass affluent segment, requiring a fundamental shift in operating models. Clients increasingly expect personalised, digitally enabled, and institution-grade services at lower cost-to-serve levels, placing pressure on margins and scalability. Addressing this requires a combination of automation, data-driven insights, and streamlined service delivery. At the same time, AI is here to stay and redefines core wealth processes, from onboarding including KYC/AML to advisory and investment proposal, driving efficiency, consistency, and regulatory alignment. However, these capabilities are only as effective as the underlying core banking infrastructure, which must support real-time data access, integration, and agility across markets.

In parallel, demand for alternative investments is broadening beyond ultra-high-net-worth clients. Enabling scalable access to private markets, while maintaining robust risk controls and compliance standards, will be critical to capturing this opportunity and sustaining long-term growth. The core system is not a back-office concern; it is the foundation upon which every client-facing innovation is built, including onboarding new clients. Institutions that have invested in that foundation are moving faster, integrating new capabilities more seamlessly and responding to regulatory demands with far greater confidence. What does winning this award mean to your firm, and how will you use this recognition going forward? This recognition reflects the strength of our client-centric approach and our focus on addressing real industry challenges beyond product delivery. It reinforces that our strategy, combining innovation, operational resilience, and regulatory alignment, is resonating in a competitive APAC market. It will support deeper engagement with clients and partners, enable us to share insights across the industry, and strengthen our position as a trusted wealth management provider. Where do you draw inspiration for innovation – within the wealth industry or beyond it? Our greatest source of inspiration is our clients. In wealth management itself, inspiration often comes from how leading firms are redefining client engagement, operating models, and product access in response to structural shifts in the market. We look beyond financial services to sectors such as retail, and technology for lessons in trust, simplicity, and personalisation. At the same time, we recognise that sustainable innovation must be built on strong foundations. A great client deliverable is only as robust as the systems behind it.

Greg King, CFA Head of Wealth Management FactSet

What role has collaboration – either internally or with external partners – played in your success?

Can you give us a brief overview of what your firm does? FactSet is a global financial data and technology company with a mission to help wealth managers deliver personalised advice at scale. Through the FactSet Wealth Platform, we provide integrated data, analytics, and workflow tools spanning equities, fixed income, funds, private markets, ESG, and macroeconomic data. Our open platform allows clients to access this content via APIs, managed data feeds, or configurable workstation experiences. This enables wealth firms to easily embed FactSet’s capabilities into proprietary systems or build custom advisor desktops tailored to local requirements. We serve approximately 9,000 client firms and more than 237,000 users worldwide, with subscription retention above 95% and strong, accelerating growth across Asia Pacific. What has been the most impactful innovation your firm introduced recently and how has it shaped client outcomes or internal efficiency? Our most impactful innovation has been expanding our open platform strategy to empower wealth managers building hybrid or proprietary technology environments. Many firms in Asia want to differentiate through their own digital offerings and experiences, rather than rely on monolithic systems. FactSet provides normalised, high-quality data and analytics through APIs, feeds, and workstation applications – all powered by a unified data model. This “single source of truth” not only reduces manual reconciliation but also enables a consistent flow of insights across all advisor workflows. Advisors benefit by spending less time navigating disconnected systems and more time delivering timely, personalised insights to clients.

Collaboration is fundamental to our wealth strategy. We work closely with wealth managers in Asia to understand their advisory models, client segments, and technology priorities, and then tailor our implementations accordingly. We also partner with a broad ecosystem of CRM platforms, portfolio management systems, and digital engagement tools. Our integrations ensure FactSet data flows seamlessly throughout each client’s environment, allowing firms to evolve and enhance their existing infrastructure rather than replace it. Internally, our regional teams collaborate closely with global product and data specialists to localize content, support regulatory requirements, and ensure that we remain relevant and responsive to the diverse needs of Asia Pacific markets. What are the key challenges you foresee in wealth management over the next five years, and how are you positioning your business to meet them? Wealth managers face several challenges: rising demand for hyper-personalised advice, increasing complexity in client portfolios across public and private markets, and mounting pressure to improve advisor productivity without sacrificing service quality. FactSet addresses these challenges with our combination of integrated, high-quality data and flexible, open technology. Our unified data model simplifies access to complex datasets, while our open architecture lets firms design workflows that reflect how advisors actually work. We are also investing in AI-enabled analytics and personalised content, empowering advisors to quickly surface relevant insights for more engaging client conversations and better decision-making. By continually aligning our platform with the needs of modern wealth managers – flexibility, scalability, and personalisation – we support their efforts to drive growth, innovation, and exceptional client service.

Reflecting on the Singapore team's Legal 500 recognition, Lishi Fong highlighted the trust clients place in the firm and its commitment to delivering innovative, commercially focused solutions. Positioning for the Future of M&A in Asia Asia's M&A market continues to evolve, driven by increasing regulatory complexity, substance requirements and cross-border information exchange frameworks. As Singapore strengthens its role as a leading structuring hub, clients require advisers who can navigate these changes with confidence. Harneys is responding by deepening its M&A expertise and expanding sector-focused capabilities across areas such as pre-sale planning, group reorganisations and joint ventures. Offering offshore legal services in English, Cantonese and Mandarin, the Singapore office is well positioned to support the region's increasingly diverse client base. As intergenerational wealth transfer accelerates across Asia, Harneys' integrated legal, fiduciary and wealth platform ensures clients remain ahead of an evolving market.

Redefining Regional Wealth: How HLB Private Bank is Charting a New Era of Growth

H

LB Private Bank, the private banking arm of Hong Leong Bank, caters to high-net-worth individuals across the region. Following the comprehensive brand refresh over the past year, the bank has accelerated its growth trajectory, leveraging its strong regional footprint backed by Hong Leong Bank’s deep roots in ASEAN. HLB Private Bank has expanded its assets under management (AuM) by double digits over the last 12 months, driven by bespoke wealth structuring, next-generation legacy planning, and enhanced cross-border advisory services. What role has collaboration – either internally or external partners – played in your success?

Jeffrey Yap Managing Director, Regional Head of Wealth Management HLB Private Bank

Collaboration is the engine of our success. Internally, we implemented a 'One Bank' strategy, dismantling traditional legacy silos to build a unified, cross-functional ecosystem. This allows us to seamlessly provide entrepreneurs with the full capabilities of the bank, from corporate banking to a diverse range of private wealth solutions as they scale. Externally, our defining milestone has been our strategic alliance with Lombard Odier. This powerful collaboration perfectly blends Lombard Odier's two centuries of global wealth architecture with our deep, localised insights across Southeast Asia. How do you cultivate a culture that consistently drives excellence and high performance?

Winner • Private Bank or Wealth Manager (Singapore) • Private Bank or Wealth Manager (Malaysia)

Excellence thrives where there is psychological growth, shared purpose, and absolute transparency. Post-rebrand, we actively dismantled traditional corporate silos to foster a meritocratic environment. True to our roots, we encourage our teams to think like entrepreneurs. To understand the family dynamics and long-term aspirations behind every portfolio. That is why we invest heavily in continuous upskilling, tools and technology. To ensure our advisors are ahead of market evolution and complexities, equipped with latest and

most relevant insights, and connected to high-value opportunities. By aligning individual career growth with the financial growth and peace of mind of our clients, we’ve cultivated an incredibly motivated team that consistently performs above standard benchmarks. What are the key challenges you foresee in wealth management over the next five years, and how are you positioning your business to meet them? The next five years will be defined by dual forces: rapid macroeconomic volatility and the massive intergenerational wealth transfer. The incoming generation of wealth inheritors demands digital immediacy paired with sophisticated, sustainable investment options. HLB Private Bank is aggressively positioning itself to lead through this shift. We are expanding our core capabilities, leveraging our Strategic Alliance with Lombard Odier for premier investment solutions and research. Our collaboration with Gaia Investment Partners gives our clients access to private markets typically reserved for institutional players. Through our network of partnerships, we also offer clients comprehensive family office services. By bridging the gap between traditional wealth conservation and modern asset creation, we ensure that HLB remains indispensable to both current wealth creators and their successors. What does winning this award mean to your firm, and how will you use this recognition going forward? Winning this is a powerful validation of our journey since the rebrand. It reflects our team’s dedication and the enduring trust placed in us by our clients. This recognition will act as a catalyst. This validation will contribute to strengthening our presence, attract suitable talents, and reinforce our commitment to being the viable partner in the region. We are incredibly proud, but we view this not as a destination, but as momentum for our next phase of growth.

A Trusted Partner in Succession Planning for Entrepreneurial Families

H

SBC Trust and Fiduciary Services (TFS) is celebrating its 80th anniversary this year. We’re proud to have supported entrepreneurial families worldwide in preserving multi-generational wealth and planning business succession across three generations. By designing bespoke private and charitable trust structures and providing professional trustee oversight, we help families implement succession with clear governance and continuity while overseeing complex assets such as real estate, direct investments, private companies and IPO holdings. Our structures are designed to remain resilient through changing family circumstances, market conditions and regulatory environments.

What has been the most impactful innovation your firm introduced recently, and how has it shaped client outcomes or internal efficiency? Our in-house generative AI deployment across HSBC marks an important step forward in how we serve clients and operate more efficiently. Our vision is simple: empower our people to use AI to deliver more personalised services at scale while keeping human judgement and accountability at the core. In TFS, we embed AI in day-to-day work. Our people use it to draft documents, analyse reports and summarise meetings. We also use it to strengthen controls, validate processes, support quality checks and complete standard questionnaires. By simplifying procedures into clear steps and checklists, we accelerate workflows and shorten processing times, allowing our people to focus on client relationships. Ultimately, it is all about trust. By combining AI with our people’s expertise, we can make better, faster decisions and deliver stronger outcomes for clients.

Christina Tung - Head of Trust & Fiduciary Services, North Asia Brent York - Global Head of Trust & Fiduciary Services HSBC Trust & Fiduciary Services

Winner • Institutional Trust or Fiduciary Company

How do you cultivate a culture that consistently drives excellence and high performance? To help cultivate a high-performance culture and achieve our ambition to be the most trusted bank globally, we developed ‘How We Lead’ – our global leadership framework built by the business, for the business. It is designed to unlock our full potential through six leadership principles, practical tools and a common language. We’re focused on driving a high-performance culture with care across the organisation. We will measure impact through behavioural change, ease of execution and customer outcomes. Can you share a story that best illustrates your team’s commitment to client service or problem-solving? When a multi-generational entrepreneurial family faced a pivotal transition – restructuring long-standing trusts to support a business spin-out and future IPO – we focused on protecting the family legacy while enabling growth. We enhanced the trust and company architecture to preserve ownership across family members and business partners, strengthened governance and consolidated assets across Asia-Pacific markets. When a new trust was needed for pre-IPO arrangements, we delivered it within a month by coordinating with legal and tax advisers and connecting expertise across HSBC Private Bank (PB) and Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB) to provide tailored financing solutions. What role has collaboration – either internally or with external partners – played in your success? Collaboration plays a key role in how we “open up opportunities” for entrepreneurial clients. By connecting them to the wider HSBC network, we provide solutions that meet their personal banking, investment and business needs. Our trust professionals work closely with colleagues across PB and CIB, and alongside external advisers, delivering integrated trust, investment, insurance and liquidity solutions for cross-border expansion, IPO readiness and philanthropy-led legacies, supporting wealth protection and long-term growth.

Leading the Age of Intelligent Wealth: Intellect’s WealthBriefingAsia Award-Winning Reinvention

Mr Banesh Prabhu CEO IntellectAI (part of Intellect Design Arena Ltd.)

I

ntellect Design Arena Ltd is a global leader in AI-First financial technology, serving over 500 customers across 61 countries. Through platforms including eMACH. ai, Purple Fabric, and iTurmeric, Intellect enables banks and wealth institutions to modernise operations, improve client outcomes, and accelerate innovation through composable, intelligent architectures. What has been the most impactful innovation your firm introduced recently, and how has it shaped client outcomes or internal efficiency? eMACH.ai Wealth is our most significant innovation. Built on First Principles Thinking, it transforms wealth management by converting market movements and client life events into actionable business events, enabling real-time intelligence and decision-making. Unlike traditional platforms, AI is embedded into the architecture rather than added later. This allows institutions to

deliver contextual, compliant, and explainable advice while integrating public, private, and internal data sources. Its cloud-native, headless design removes operational silos, accelerates service innovation, and embeds compliance from the outset. By combining intelligence, transparency, and agility, eMACH.ai Wealth enables firms to improve efficiency, strengthen trust, and future-proof their wealth businesses.

Institutions will need to deliver personalised, compliant, and transparent advice while managing greater complexity and higher client demands. Through eMACH. ai Wealth, we have embedded compliance, predictive intelligence, and modular architecture into the operating model, helping firms modernise infrastructure, improve productivity, and deliver more humancentred advisory experiences.

How do you cultivate a culture that consistently drives excellence and high performance? Excellence at Intellect is a discipline embedded in our culture. We combine AI-First thinking with Design Thinking principles, encouraging teams to challenge convention, simplify complexity, and continuously innovate. Our people are empowered to reimagine wealth management from first principles, ensuring innovation is continuous rather than episodic. This approach enables us to consistently deliver resilient, transparent, and outcome-driven solutions for clients.

What does winning this award mean to your firm, and how will you use this recognition going forward? Winning this award is both recognition and responsibility. It validates the dedication of our teams and reinforces the trust clients place in us. The recognition motivates us to continue investing in innovation, design, and AI-driven capabilities while advancing our mission to help shape the future of intelligent wealth management.

What role has collaboration – either internally or with external partners – played in your success? Collaboration is fundamental to our success. Internally, product, design, and AI teams work as a unified ecosystem to translate client and advisor needs into transformative solutions. Externally, we collaborate with regulators including MAS, HKMA, and GIFT City, as well as leading financial institutions across Asia. These partnerships help us embed compliance intelligence directly into our platforms while ensuring our solutions remain relevant, trusted, and future-ready. What are the key challenges you foresee in wealth management over the next five years, and how are you positioning your business to meet them? We see five major challenges shaping the future of wealth management: legacy technology constraints, intergenerational wealth transfer, increasing regulatory complexity, evolving client expectations, and pressure to scale efficiently.

Where do you draw inspiration for innovation – within the wealth industry or beyond it? Our inspiration comes from the intersection of industries, ideas, and people. We learn from regulators, fintech innovators, clients, and thought leaders advancing responsible AI and digital transformation. By combining external insights with our own culture of curiosity and First Principles Thinking, we create solutions that address real-world challenges and deliver lasting value for wealth institutions and their clients.

Built On Advice, Not On Sales

K

lay was founded 13 years ago on a simple principle: clients should receive independent advice, not be sold products. That philosophy continues to shape every aspect of the firm. Built as an advisory-led, open-architecture business, Klay provides ultra-high-networth families with access to institutional-grade investment expertise, structuring solutions and corporate finance capabilities without the need to build those resources in-house. Today, Klay operates across four core pillars: wealth management, multi-family office, corporate advisory and asset management. With more than 140 professionals serving over 450 ultra-high-net-worth clients and families across seven countries, the firm remains focused on long-term relationships, independent advice and acting firmly in its clients’ best interests.

Arjun Anand Ceo, APAC Klay Capital Pte. Limited

Winner • Family Wealth Advisory Offering

What has been the most impactful innovation your firm introduced recently? One of our most significant innovations has been the development of a proprietary technology platform designed specifically for ultra-high-net-worth families and their advisers. As clients increasingly hold assets across multiple banks, custodians and jurisdictions, obtaining a clear view of overall exposure and risk has become more challenging. Our platform consolidates positions across institutions, aggregates research from approximately 8,000 analysts globally, and applies institutional-grade portfolio construction and risk management frameworks. Supported by our 20-strong in-house investment advisory team, including Global Head of Structured Products and Derivatives Ahmad Chaudry, the platform delivers enhanced visibility, deeper insights and disciplined investment oversight. What are the key challenges you foresee in wealth management over the next five years, and how are you positioning the business to meet them? The greatest challenge facing wealth management is increasing complexity. Wealthy families now operate across

multiple jurisdictions, with interconnected business, family and investment interests requiring coordinated oversight. At the same time, concentrated exposures, private markets, succession planning and cross-border structuring demand increasingly specialised expertise. Our response is to remain disciplined and advice-led. Through an open-architecture, product-agnostic model, we help clients understand the full picture before making long-term decisions. We believe firms that combine institutional capabilities with independent advice and aligned relationships will be best positioned for the future. How do you cultivate a culture that consistently drives excellence and high performance? At Klay, we describe ourselves as being “in your corner.” We do not simply take on clients; we welcome members and think in generations rather than quarters. As an employee-owned business, our investment professionals are rewarded for the quality of their advice and ideas rather than product sales. Advisers work with a limited number of families, ensuring the time, judgement and personal attention required to deliver meaningful advice. We are also highly selective in our hiring, seeking professionals who share our values and commitment to long-term client alignment. This creates a culture built on trust, accountability and excellence. What does winning this award mean to your firm, and how will you use this recognition going forward? For much of our first 13 years, we chose to focus on building the business rather than promoting it publicly. This recognition is meaningful because it comes from a community that understands the foundations of successful wealth management: advice, trust, judgement, infrastructure and people. The award is both an achievement and a milestone as we continue expanding across Singapore, the UK and Switzerland. It reinforces our commitment to further developing our platform and strengthening our position as a trusted institutional partner for advisers and clients globally.

Preserving Prosperity Across Generations: A Modern Approach to Fiduciary Services

A

cross many Asian families, traditions are passed down quietly through shared values, family rituals, and the responsibility of preserving prosperity for future generations. In many ways, wealth planning follows the same principle. Beyond structures and strategies, it is ultimately about stewardship, continuity, and protecting what matters most across generations. Headquartered in Hong Kong, Legacy Trust Company is an independent fiduciary firm with over 30 years of experience supporting high-net-worth individuals, families, business owners, and family offices. The firm provides trust, custody, fund administration, and corporate services solutions tailored to clients across Asia and internationally. A Relationship-Driven Approach As wealth structures become increasingly international and regulatory expectations continue to evolve, clients require more than technical expertise alone. They value partners who can understand family and business priorities while providing practical guidance through changing circumstances. This relationship-driven philosophy remains central to Legacy Trust. By listening carefully to each client’s objectives, the team focuses on delivering clear communication and tailored advice that support long-term goals in a sustainable way. Under the leadership of Director Vincent Chok, the firm continues to strengthen a modern fiduciary platform that balances governance, responsiveness, and personalised client relationships. Blending Personal Service with Modern Solutions Operational innovation at Legacy Trust is guided by the same philosophy. Recent investments in internal technology and client servicing capabilities have enhanced efficiency and communication across the business. Through TrustsConnect, the firm’s secure digital platform, Legacy Trust has achieved a significant improvement in client servicing efficiency and operational responsiveness, supporting a more seamless client experience. Importantly, the platform was designed to complement personal advisory relationships rather than replace them, ensuring technology continues to support meaningful human connection.

Vincent Chok Founder and Director Legacy Trust Company (Hong Kong)

Governance and Compliance at the Core Alongside innovation, governance and compliance remain central to the firm’s operating philosophy. In an increasingly regulated environment, Legacy Trust continues to strengthen its internal controls, risk management framework, and operational processes to help clients navigate evolving requirements with confidence. The firm recognises that strong fiduciary services rely on close collaboration across trust administration, compliance, accounting, and operations teams. This integrated approach allows matters to be handled efficiently while maintaining high standards. Recognition for Accountancy Team at the WealthBriefingAsia Greater China Awards 2026 further reflects the firm’s commitment to transparency, operational discipline, and service excellence. Industry Recognition and Regional Growth Legacy Trust’s recognition across Wealth Planning, Accountancy Team, and Independent Trust or Fiduciary Company categories, alongside a Leading Individual accolade for Vincent, reflects the firm’s continued commitment to governance, client relationships, and longterm stewardship. Looking ahead, Legacy Trust remains focused on strengthening its regional presence, including strategic expansion plans into Singapore. Vincent’s vision for the future remains centred on enhancing regional connectivity, operational excellence, and continuing to support clients with practical and trusted solutions in an evolving wealth and regulatory landscape. As families and businesses continue to evolve across generations and jurisdictions, Legacy Trust remains guided by a simple principle: understanding people, adapting to change, and delivering trusted solutions designed to preserve legacy for generations to come.

Lighthouse in the Storm: Navigating the Intersection of Wealth and Wellness • WEALTH STEWARDSHIP: We provide independent investment advice, prioritising preservation and prudent growth, and tailoring "storm-proof" portfolios designed to weather all market conditions. • SUCCESSION & GOVERNANCE: We lead multi-jurisdictional structuring projects to ensure the smooth transition of wealth. We establish values-based governance frameworks, ensuring wealth serves as a catalyst for unity rather than intergenerational division. • FAMILY WELLNESS: A pioneering programme designed to enhance family harmony, support individual wellbeing and prepare the rising generation for the responsibilities of wealth ownership. What has been your most impactful recent innovation?

Elizabeth Hart CEO & Founder Legacy Wealth Advisors

Winner • Thought Leadership (Individual)

L

egacy Wealth Advisors is a Singapore-based independent private office dedicated to bridging the gap between financial results and family harmony. As a 100% independently owned and fee-aligned firm, we eliminate fragmented advice and institutional conflicts, providing a "single point of clarity" amidst complexity for global families. Our model is built on three pillars of excellence:

Our most impactful innovation is the ‘Family Wellness’ pillar of our proprietary Legacy Model. While the industry fixates on products, we believe an enduring legacy is found in the harmony of the family. We combine the "hard" side of wealth (investments) with the "soft" side (governance and rising-gen preparation). By solving for harmony, we effectively de-risk the financial legacy. Can you share a story that illustrates your commitment to problem-solving? We advised a global family with footprints across Asia, Australia, and Europe struggling with an outdated structure and significant intergenerational friction. Legacy acted as their ‘air traffic controller’, coordinating a complex six-jurisdiction succession planning project to create robust structures, a "storm-proof" multi-currency portfolio and a values-based governance framework. The turning point was our Family Wellness Programme. We facilitated sensitive pre-nuptial discussions and 1-to-1 empowerment coaching that helped a family member to reframe past trauma to find purpose, transforming a "strained" relationship into

a "free", collaborative one. The result was transformational. The client told us: “The first meaningful conversation with my son in 10 years… the outcome is sensational.” This proved that we aren't just managing assets; we are stewarding the people behind them. What key challenges do you foresee in wealth management over the next five years? Wealth management has become more complex with increased regulatory requirements and more sophisticated client needs. We see a "perfect storm" of record millionaire migration and the ‘Great Wealth Transfer’. With trillions of dollars changing hands as families relocate across borders, there is a massive risk of families being unprepared for the structural and emotional complexities of inheritance. The challenge is that the industry remains too "siloed", with advisors rarely communicating or providing narrow advice in one country, leaving the client to bridge the gaps. Legacy is positioned as a dedicated global advocate. We are the ‘Lighthouse in the storm’ – providing the independent, fee-aligned guidance families need to navigate complex transitions. What does winning this award mean to your firm? Winning this 'Thought Leadership' award is a powerful validation of our mission to "add true value" to clients. The judges highlighted our efforts in redefining wealth management through a "harmonious legacy" philosophy, expanding the industry's focus beyond just financial performance to encompass governance, stewardship, and family wellbeing. After 32 years in institutional private banking, I founded Legacy to put clients back at the centre of attention and to raise the standard. This award is a mandate. It encourages us to continue advocating for a new standard in wealth management – one where financial performance and human fulfilment aren't just related, but are brought together to create extraordinary, lasting results for the families we serve.

MSCI Wealth Manager: Bringing Institutional Rigour to Modern Wealth Management What has been the most impactful innovation your firm introduced recently, and how has it shaped client outcomes or internal efficiency? One of the most impactful innovations has been extending institutional-grade portfolio analytics into wealth management through MSCI Wealth Manager. Advisors increasingly need deeper insight into portfolio risk, diversification and private market exposure, but many still rely on legacy asset-allocation frameworks. Our platform enables wealth managers to analyse public and private investments within a unified framework using the same factor models and risk analytics trusted by leading institutional investors globally. This supports more personalised portfolio construction, stronger risk oversight and clearer client communication. For advisors, simplifying complex analytics into an intuitive workflow improves efficiency and allows more time for strategic client engagement.

Winner • Portfolio Management

What role has collaboration – either internally or with external partners – played in your success? Collaboration is central to our success. At MSCI, we combine our expertise across indexes, analytics, ESG and climate research, private assets and technology to create integrated solutions for wealth managers. Externally, close engagement with CIO offices, portfolio construction teams and advisors helps shape our product development. Their feedback ensures our tools remain practical, scalable and aligned with evolving client expectations. In Asia especially, we are seeing growing convergence between institutional investing and wealth management, and collaboration helps us translate sophisticated investment frameworks into advisor-friendly solutions. What are the key challenges you foresee in wealth management over the next five years, and how are you positioning your business to meet them? The wealth management industry faces three major challenges: delivering

personalisation at scale, integrating private assets effectively and navigating increasingly complex global risks. Clients expect tailored portfolios aligned to their objectives and values, while advisors must maintain operational efficiency and transparency. At the same time, allocations to private markets are increasing, creating demand for better total-portfolio analytics. MSCI is helping companies address these challenges through integrated risk, analytics and portfolio construction capabilities that combine public and private assets within a single framework. We are also investing in AI-enabled workflows that help advisors turn complex data into actionable client insights more efficiently and at scale. Our recent acquisitions further reflect this focus on supporting the evolving needs of the industry. This includes Vantager, which enhances AI-enabled pre-investment diligence capabilities for private asset funds, and Compass Financial Technologies, which strengthens our multi-asset index calculation capabilities across asset classes including commodities and digital assets. What does winning this award mean to your firm, and how will you use this recognition going forward? This recognition reflects the growing importance of sophisticated portfolio intelligence in wealth management. It validates our commitment to helping wealth managers deliver institutional-quality investment capabilities alongside a highly personalised client experience. In Asia, wealth firms are increasingly adopting more advanced approaches to portfolio construction and risk management, and we are proud to support that evolution. The award also recognises the strong collaboration between MSCI and our clients, whose feedback continues to shape our innovation priorities. It reinforces our commitment to investing in technology, multi-asset analytics and scalable personalisation capabilities for the wealth management industry.

Delivering Clarity, Continuity and Confidence Across Generations Winner • Family Governance Services

Andrew Ho Regional Head Private Clients APAC Ocorian

Can you share a story that best illustrates your team’s commitment to client service or problem solving? A recent engagement helps to illustrates Ocorian’s role in supporting family governance alongside fiduciary structuring. We worked with a multi-generational UHNW family facing increasing difficulties in decision-making across investments, distributions, and succession planning. While the underlying trust structure was robust, there was a lack of clearly defined governance processes, leading to inefficiencies and friction between family members. We worked with the family and their advisors to help facilitate discussions around family objectives, roles, and expectations. We helped to support the advisors on the development of a tailored family governance framework, including the establishment of a family council structure, defined roles for the family members and formal decision-making protocols to help promote alignment and continuity across the generations. Finally making sure the trust and corporate structures were aligned with the new governance principles. What role has collaboration either internally or with external partners played in your success? Collaboration is fundamental to how Ocorian delivers value to our clients. Internally, we integrate trust, corporate, and fund expertise, enabling us to support both structural and governance aspects of wealth for our clients. We work seamlessly between departments and across jurisdictions to help facilitate solutions for our client’s needs. Externally, we collaborate with lawyers and tax advisors; private banks and wealth managers and family governance specialists and family offices. These relationships are incredibly important to

Panhe Family Office: Preserving Wealth, Architecting Legacy, Empowering Generations

I

n the rapidly evolving landscape of global economic transformation, ultra-highnet-worth families face challenges that extend far beyond wealth accumulation. True family prosperity requires a harmonious balance of capital preservation, structural security, and seamless multigenerational succession. Established in 2013, Panhe Family Office is a pioneering and distinguished Multi-Family Office (MFO) in the Greater China region. Guided by a steadfast buyside philosophy, Panhe serves exclusively as a trusted strategic advisor to leading entrepreneurial families, dedicated to safeguarding enduring family legacies. Panhe was founded by partners from UBS, JPMorgan, Portcullis Group, and other leading institutions. The senior management team brings nearly 30 years of average industry experience, including senior private bankers, CFA charterholders, CPAs, lawyers, investment specialists, trust experts, and other industry leaders. Together, they provide families with comprehensive and highly tailored succession solutions. Unlike traditional wealth management firms driven by product sales, Panhe operates entirely on the client’s side of the table. The firm acts as an “architect, overseer, and steward” of family succession. Its service methodology is built around a robust three-dimensional framework: Protect (Defense), Grow (Offense), and Transmit (Succession). In the protection phase, Panhe designs sophisticated defensive structures and compliance frameworks to shield families from unforeseen risks and geopolitical uncertainty.

Andrew Yen Founder Panhe Family Office

Panhe combines extensive practical experience with deep theoretical expertise. Its enterprise family clients span Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, and other regions. The firm has advised families across multiple stages of succession – from first-to-second generation transitions through to fourth-to-fifth generation continuity. This long intergenerational span provides Panhe with invaluable, real-world succession insight that benefits families at every stage of the wealth journey. The families served by Panhe hold total assets ranging from RMB 5 billion to RMB 100 billion across industries including mining, real estate, textile manufacturing, construction, and the Internet of Things. To date, Panhe has served more than 300 Chinese enterprise families, with over 20 families retaining the firm as long-term family consultants.

Winner • Family Governance • Independent Wealth Manager • Next-Gen Programme

Panhe also maintains strong partnerships with academia. Its executives have been invited to lecture at institutions including China Europe International Business School (CEIBS), The University of Hong Kong, National Taiwan University, the National University of Singapore, and Peking University. In collaboration with the Wealth Management Center of CEIBS, Panhe co-founded the CEIBS–Panhe Practice Workstation, dedicated to advancing research on the development of family offices in China, elevating industry standards, and enhancing professionalism across the sector. On July 3, 2025, Panhe Family Office’s operating model was officially included in the CEIBS Case Study Center database as a representative case study of independent family offices (Case No.: FIN-25-102). Panhe also possesses a strong international foundation and is the only strategic family office partner of the Rockefeller Global Family Office in Greater China.

Quiet Leadership, Lasting Impact: Grace Ngoh on Service, Stewardship and Purpose in Wealth Management What first drew you into the wealth management industry? I was drawn to wealth management because I realised early on that finance is ultimately about people, not just products or transactions. Clients come to us during significant life moments – building businesses, planning for family, or navigating uncertainty – and I found purpose in helping guide them through those decisions with clarity and care. What has kept me in the industry is the privilege of building long-term, trusted relationships. Over time, I’ve learned that trust comes not only from technical expertise, but also from consistency, empathy, and being present when clients need support. My faith in God quietly shapes how I approach both life and work, encouraging humility, stewardship, and care for others. Those values continue to guide me at Rockstead Capital, where integrity and lasting partnerships are central to how we serve clients. Your career has been recognised with accolades including the UOB CEO’s Award, the ABS Service Excellence Champion Award, and now the industry-coveted Women in Wealth Award. What have these milestones meant to you? These recognitions are meaningful because they reflect values that have guided me throughout my career. The ABS Service Excellence Champion Award was particularly significant as it represented industry-wide recognition across Singapore’s banking sector. This year’s 'Women in Wealth' award by WealthBriefingAsia is especially meaningful as it celebrates both professional achievement and the contributions of women in the industry. One rewarding outcome has been the opportunity to mentor younger bankers. Through induction programmes and coaching, I’ve shared practical experiences and the importance of maintaining a client-first mindset. I believe a strong service culture is built intentionally and

strengthened by those willing to invest in others. For me, awards have never been about titles or visibility. They serve as reminders of the importance of listening well, acting responsibly, and consistently doing the fundamentals right. What is one client experience that has shaped the way you approach your work today? One experience that left a lasting impression involved a homemaker who suddenly lost her husband and was faced with financial matters she had never managed before. Beyond helping with banking procedures and insurance claims, I guided her through the process and connected her with appropriate legal support. What she needed most was reassurance and clarity during an overwhelming period. That experience reinforced that wealth management is not simply about managing assets; it is about helping people regain confidence and stability when life becomes uncertain. That client-first mindset remains deeply embedded in how we serve families and individuals at Rockstead Capital today.

Grace Ngoh Director - Client Advisory Rockstead Capital Private Limited

Outside of work, you have also dedicated time to supporting foreign domestic helpers through financial literacy initiatives. Why is this important to you? Many domestic helpers leave home to support their families, yet access to financial education is often limited. Over the years, I have spent time mentoring women on budgeting, saving, scam awareness, and building financial resilience. This work is meaningful because financial knowledge can transform confidence and create opportunities. Even small pieces of guidance can have a lasting impact. I am grateful to be part of Rockstead Capital, where people, relationships, and community impact are valued alongside business growth. That alignment makes it possible to pursue both professional excellence and purposeful contribution.

S CUBE CAPITAL: Driving Performance Through Discipline and Innovation Hemant Mishr Co-Founder & CIO S CUBE Capital

Winner • Fund Manager

What has been the most impactful innovation your firm introduced recently, and how has it shaped client outcomes or internal efficiency? Our most impactful innovation is the proprietary MGC Framework – an integrated model that assesses Macroeconomic, Governance, and Credit risk. Embedded directly into our security selection process, it helped our flagship USD fixed-income portfolios, particularly the Fixed Income Tactical Opportunities Fund, share class FMP II (FITOF-FMP-II), navigate a volatile market environment and generate meaningful alpha. FITOF-FMP-II delivered a 12.4% total return while preserving capital, earning Bloomberg’s ranking as the top-performing fixed income fund in the Asia-Pacific region for the year ending January 2026. Technology supports, rather than replaces, human judgment. Our AI-powered screening model reviews approximately 400 securities across our investable universe, significantly improving research efficiency. Selected opportunities then undergo rigorous stress testing, credit analysis, and covenant reviews. This disciplined process ensures portfolios remain aligned with our investment thesis while delivering strong risk-adjusted returns.

How do you identify and develop future leaders within your organisation?

How do you cultivate a culture that consistently drives excellence and high performance? High performance is the product of institutional expertise operating within an entrepreneurial environment. Our leadership team collectively represents more than 100 years of international banking experience and has managed over US$50 billion in assets throughout their careers. Our culture is rigorous, data-driven, and grounded in disciplined risk management. While team members are encouraged to pursue high-conviction ideas, every decision is anchored in capital preservation. By combining individual accountability with institutional discipline, we have built a resilient platform capable of delivering sustainable results across market cycles.

Winning back-to-back honours as ‘Best Asset Management Firm’ at the WealthBriefingAsia Awards 2025 and now ‘Best Fund Manager’ for 2026 is a strong endorsement of our investment philosophy. This recognition demonstrates that a specialised boutique manager can consistently compete with – and outperform – larger global institutions. Going forward, we will use this achievement to strengthen relationships with investors across Southeast Asia, India, and the GCC. It reinforces our reputation, supports continued AuM growth, and positions us to expand our next generation of innovative fixedincome solutions for global investors.

We identify future leaders through a combination of analytical excellence and an ownership mindset. At S CUBE, development is accelerated through direct mentorship. Junior and mid-level professionals work closely with co-founders Balaji Swaminathan (former President International at Westpac and MD at BofA Merrill Lynch) and Hemant Mishr (former Chairperson of South Asia Wholesale Bank ManCo at Standard Chartered). Team members are entrusted with high-impact responsibilities, from executing investment strategies to managing regulatory and compliance initiatives. They also build relationships with senior stakeholders across key counterparties. We believe leadership is developed through experience, so professionals are given end-to-end ownership of projects, fostering accountability, sound judgment, and conviction. What does winning this award mean to your firm, and how will you use this recognition going forward?

Transforming Compliance and Client Lifecycle Management: How S&P Global Market Intelligence is Connecting the Buy Side Through Automation and Intelligence Michael Muncaster Managing Director, Head of APAC – Software and Regulatory Compliance S&P Global Market Intelligence

Winner • KYC and/or AML Solution • Client Lifecycle Management

S

&P Global Market Intelligence's Regulatory and Compliance division helps financial institutions manage the full lifecycle of their counterparty and client relationships through its CLM Pro and CLM Pro KYC platforms. Serving a network of more than 20,000 institutions and 250,000 legal entities, the platforms centralise onboarding, KYC, due diligence, maintenance, screening, monitoring, and offboarding into a single configurable workflow. One of the most impactful innovations introduced recently has been the application of generative AI to document extraction and screening processes. KYC and client lifecycle operations are inherently document-intensive, requiring firms to collect, review, and validate information from multiple document types across jurisdictions. Our AI-powered capabilities automatically extract and validate key data from documents, significantly reducing manual effort and accelerating case completion times. We have also introduced AI agents to support adverse media screening resolution, helping firms efficiently manage high volumes of alerts by automating the initial triage process while maintaining robust compliance standards. CLM Pro has also expanded lifecycle management capabilities for buy-side firms by supporting fund vehicles from formation through onboarding and ongoing maintenance. Advanced case management dashboards provide real-time visibility into workloads, bottlenecks, and completion timelines, enabling operations teams to manage resources more effectively. One large North American investment manager reduced broker account opening times by more than 50% after adopting CLM Pro, demonstrating the value of automation and connected workflows. Collaboration is central to the success of both platforms. CLM Pro acts as market infrastructure that connects counterparties directly, allowing requirements, clarifications, and status

updates to be shared in real time. This eliminates many of the manual communications and email chains that traditionally slow onboarding and KYC processes. Our integrated client portal further strengthens engagement between all stakeholders throughout the client lifecycle. Equally important is the collaboration between our technology, data, and managed services teams. A recent example involved supporting a large global buy-side firm undertaking a multi-jurisdictional KYC remediation programme. By combining automated document extraction, workflow orchestration, proprietary data, and dedicated analyst support, we helped the client clear a backlog of several thousand entities while maintaining full auditability and regulatory compliance. This demonstrates the tangible benefits of integrating technology and human expertise within a single delivery model. Looking ahead, regulatory complexity will continue to increase, creating significant challenges for firms relying on fragmented or manual processes. To help clients stay ahead, we are continuing to invest in AI-driven automation, platform interoperability, and enhanced data capabilities. We are also expanding our Regulatory and Compliance Insights offering to provide firms with a more comprehensive view of counterparty risk and regulatory obligations. Winning recognition in the KYC and Client Lifecycle Management category validate our commitment to helping buy-side firms transform compliance from an operational burden into a strategic advantage. It reinforces the value of our continued investment in innovation and provides clients with confidence that they are partnering with a recognised industry leader focused on delivering greater efficiency, transparency, and resilience across the entire client lifecycle.

Navigating Regulatory Complexity Through Data and Technology Struan Lloyd Managing Director S&P Global Market Intelligence

Winner • Regulatory Reporting

What has been the most impactful innovation your firm introduced recently, and how has it shaped client outcomes or internal efficiency? AI has entered our lives in one way or another, admittedly we must adapt to it. Regulations have historically driven standardisation – ISO standards, OTC clearing mandates – and is likely to do so again as AI in execution moves from experimental to mainstream as firms continually invest in compliant and auditable infrastructure to build the regulatory resilience that AI deployment will eventually require. Cappitech’s trade reporting solutions remain at the forefront of supporting our clients’ journey, leveraging AI to perform pre-submission controls and anomaly detection as your first line of defense in regulatory reporting, enable proactive compliance via AI-driven workflows and eliminate manual triage via AI-powered reconciliation to validate and prioritise reconciliation breaks. Can you share a story that best illustrates your team’s commitment to client service or problem-solving? A private wealth management client engaged Cappitech Consulting to conduct a holistic Health Assessment of its regulatory reporting obligations as part of its onboarding to the Cappitech platform. Designed as a targeted and modular diagnostic review, the Health Assessment evaluated the client’s existing reporting framework to identify gaps in reporting data, controls, governance, rule interpretation, validation, and testing against regulatory standards. Crucially, the findings were fed directly into the onboarding mapping analysis and implementation plan, ensuring that legacy reporting deficiencies were addressed at the outset. This approach enabled the client to begin with a clean slate, supported by a clear and prioritised remediation roadmap focused on improving the completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of

reporting. More than just delivering a best-in-class reporting platform, Cappitech demonstrated its broader consulting capability by helping the client strengthen operational resilience, boost stakeholder confidence, and build a robust foundation for meeting evolving regulatory demands and supporting future business growth, including new product launches. As a result of this successful engagement, the client has continued to retain Cappitech Consulting to support the onboarding and reporting enablement of new products, reinforcing Cappitech’s role not only as a technology provider, but as a trusted long-term partner capable of helping firms respond with confidence and agility to an increasingly complex regulatory landscape. What are the key challenges you foresee in wealth management over the next five years, and how are you positioning your business to meet them? The regulatory change management landscape remains complex and aligning operational risk frameworks whilst managing the frequent change and balancing the rapid technological evolution means risk exposure remains elevated. Wealth management firms must stay ahead with data governance prioritisation as regulatory expectations for data quality and a robust control environment will only intensify. Cappitech remains committed to providing a one-stop solution for all our clients and will continue investing in our reporting platforms and evolve control framework offerings such as Data Insights, Enhanced Validations, Data Lineage, Reconciliations and Exception Management. Cappitech’s solutions are designed to help wealth management firms to achieve sustainable competitive advantage through faster regulatory adaptation, reduced compliance costs, enhanced risk management effectiveness, and superior regulatory examination performance.

Independence as a Calling: How Spark Capital Private Wealth Management is Redefining Wealth Advisory in India Arpita Vinay Senior Managing Director & CEO Spark Capital Private Wealth Management

Winner • Independent Asset Manager (India)

What has been the most impactful innovation your firm introduced recently, and how has it shaped client outcomes or internal efficiency? The most impactful innovation has been the development and deepening of our proprietary digital platform, which integrates consolidated portfolio reporting, real-time analytics, digital onboarding and operational automation within a single environment. The value lies not in the technology itself, but in what it enables: advisors spend less time on administration and more time focusing on clients, long-term strategy and providing counsel during complex moments. For clients, the platform delivers a level of transparency that independent wealth managers have not always been able to offer. Families with multi-asset, multi-geography portfolios can access a consolidated, real-time view of their wealth across web and mobile. This has been particularly valued by next-generation family members who expect digital fluency as standard. Importantly, the platform has supported geographic expansion without diluting service quality, allowing us to maintain the intimacy and accountability of an independent advisor while scaling across 13 locations. How do you cultivate a culture that consistently drives excellence and high performance? Culture begins with a deliberate talent philosophy. From the outset, we chose to attract experienced professionals from private banking, capital markets and institutional advisory backgrounds who bring not only technical expertise but a genuine commitment to long-term client stewardship. We were not looking for salespeople; we were looking for trusted advisors who could build lasting careers with the firm.

The result is a team with deep domain expertise and a shared commitment to independence, integrity and client-first thinking. During the review period, voluntary relationship manager attrition was zero – a powerful reflection of the culture we have built, particularly in a high-growth environment where it would have been easy to compromise on standards. We believe high performance is not simply a target or metric. It is the outcome of giving talented professionals the right environment, the right tools and the confidence that their interests are fully aligned with those of their clients. What does winning this award mean to your firm, and how will you use this recognition going forward? Winning the 'Best Independent Asset Manager (India)' award from WealthBriefingAsia is meaningful recognition because it reflects the quality of our business rather than its scale. For a firm that has grown organically, without acquisitions and without compromising its independence, it validates the strength of our approach. For our team, the award is a source of genuine pride. Our growth has been driven by client outcomes and the trust earned through consistently delivering on our commitments. This recognition reflects the dedication and collective effort of our people. For clients and prospective clients, it provides further assurance that Spark Capital PWM offers more than a differentiated proposition. It combines a comprehensive wealth management and investment banking platform with a proven, independently recognised track record. Looking ahead, we see this award as motivation to continue raising standards. As India’s wealth management industry evolves and demand for independent, institutional-quality advice grows, we view this recognition not as a destination, but as part of an ongoing journey.

frameworks and robust governance standards. This ensures that derivative overlays – whether for yield generation or hedging – can be implemented at scale without compromising execution quality or risk discipline.

For chief investment officers, the key shift is not simply increased access to crypto, but the ability to express views through familiar and, risk-managed frameworks. The evolution mirrors the early development of equity derivatives: what began as a high-volatility, leveraged directional bet is now being reshaped into a sophisticated toolkit for yield enhancement, capital protection, and bespoke exposure management.

The demand is increasingly evident among private banks, family offices, and asset managers. Rather than viewing crypto as a standalone high-risk allocation, institutions are embedding derivatives-based strategies into diversified portfolios. Yield enhancement strategies, for example, are being used as alternatives to traditional carry trades in moderate volatility environments, while systematic, rules-based approaches – often categorised under Quantitative Investment Strategies (QIS) – offer transparent and repeatable strategies offering optimised risk-adjusted returns.

At the center of this transformation is the rise of structured products on digital assets. Firms such as STS Digital are engineering solutions that translate crypto volatility into defined investment outcomes. These include principal-protected notes, buffered participation structures, and options-based income strategies – formats that are already well understood within traditional multi-asset portfolios.

Regulation is also playing a constructive role. As frameworks around custody, derivatives trading, and product distribution become clearer, CIOs are gaining confidence in deploying capital through regulated intermediaries. This is accelerating the shift from tactical exposure to strategic core allocation, where crypto derivatives serve defined roles within broader asset allocation models.

From a CIO perspective, this development addresses one of the longstanding barriers to crypto adoption: uncontrolled downside risk. Structured solutions enable capital-efficient exposure with predefined risk parameters, allowing digital assets to be integrated alongside equities, fixed income, and alternatives without distorting overall portfolio volatility.

Looking ahead, the institutionalisation of crypto derivatives will likely follow the trajectory of other asset classes: increased standardisation, tighter bid-ask spreads, and greater integration into portfolio construction tools. For CIOs, the opportunity lies not in chasing volatility, but in harnessing it – transforming a historically speculative instruments into a source of structured and risk-controlled return.

rypto derivatives are getting mainstream traction beyond opportunistic trading desks. They are rapidly becoming a core component of institutional portfolio construction, driven by improved market infrastructure, greater regulatory clarity, and the emergence of institutional-grade structuring capabilities.

Equally important is the maturation of liquidity and execution. Institutional platforms now provide deep access across major tokens and selected altcoins, supported by professional counterparty

In that context, crypto derivatives are no longer an experiment. They are becoming an institutional asset class in their own right.

Think Globally, Think in Decades: Inside the Firm Redefining Korean Private Wealth

Winner • Multi-Family Office, Private Bank or External Asset Manager (South Korea)

Ohad Topor Founder and Chairman TCK Investments

What has been the most impactful innovation your firm introduced recently, and how has it shaped client outcomes or internal efficiency?

What are the key challenges you foresee in wealth management over the next five years, and how are you positioning your business to meet them?

At TCK, innovation is never about chasing trends – it is about solving structural gaps with durable, well-constructed solutions that serve clients for decades. The launch of our inaugural private markets fund last year has been a defining step. It provides Korean clients with onshore access to top-tier alternative funds and direct investments – a capability that was unavailable in the market until now. It took over a year to engineer a structure properly calibrated to the regulatory, tax and liquidity constraints unique to Korea. Today, private markets represent around a quarter of our AuM and growing, perfectly complementing our liquid strategies and cementing TCK as a one-stop investment partner for clients.

The most pressing challenge – and our greatest opportunity – lies in reshaping how wealth is held in Korea. Many wealthy households and companies still allocate a large share of their net worth to domestic real estate: illiquid, concentrated and cyclically vulnerable. Younger Koreans are more attuned to stock market investing, but often do so without the necessary risk guardrails. Guiding clients away from these entrenched biases and toward globally diversified portfolios remains our central mission. That said, our global DNA does not mean we’re indifferent to home. Korea’s market delivered exceptional returns in recent years, and as a firm with deep local knowledge we were well-placed to capture them. As Korea and the world continue to evolve, TCK's model remains flexible: investing wherever the best opportunities lie, with a long-term discipline that lets compounding do the work.

How do you cultivate a culture that consistently drives excellence and high performance? Excellence at TCK is rooted in principles we set on day one and have never compromised. The most fundamental is alignment of interests: we have no separate agenda from our clients, no products to push, no commissions to chase. Our fee arrangements motivate us to act solely in their best interest – explicit, fair, and performance-driven. Internally, we foster a workplace built on attention to detail, trust and a shared aversion to complexity – qualities that flow directly into how we manage portfolios and serve clients every day.

What does winning this award mean to your firm, and how will you use this recognition going forward? Receiving this recognition for the third consecutive year is meaningful. It affirms not just our track record – over 4x return since inception in 2013 with only moderate volatility – but the entire philosophy underpinning TCK: patient, globally diversified and unconditionally client-first. For our team, it confirms that the right approach, sustained over time, earns the recognition. For the broader Korean market, it signals that world-class wealth management is available onshore. We carry this award forward not as a finish line, but as fuel to keep raising the bar for Korean private wealth management.

Patient Capital, Principled Leadership: The Ohad Topor Story

Winner • Outstanding Contribution to Wealth Management Korea (Individual) - Ohad Topor

Ohad Topor - Founder and Chairman TCK Investments

F

ounded in 2012 by Ohad Topor, TCK (Topor & Co. Korea) is South Korea’s pioneering independent multi-family office. Topor brings over 25 years of cross-asset global investment experience, formative military intelligence training, and a Stanford MBA. Honored with consecutive WealthBriefingAsia awards (2024–2026), TCK leverages an expansive international network to deliver institutional-grade, globally diversified portfolios. Serving Korea’s elite ultra-high-net-worth families and corporations, TCK redefines the country's wealth management standard. In 2012, you introduced South Korea’s first independent multi-family office. How has local acceptance evolved, and what broader industry contribution do you hope to leave? Initially, independent, fee-only wealth management was entirely novel in a landscape dominated by transaction-driven brokerages. Today, accelerating inter-generational wealth transfers drive sophisticated families to demand long-term global asset allocation. Entering this market remains exceptionally difficult; Korea relies on long-standing personal relationships where trust builds over decades. Achieving a critical mass of elite families as a foreign-owned firm was considered unheard of. I was incredibly fortunate to start with deep personal friendships that evolved into a loyal client base, rather than starting commercially. Ultimately, we proved Korean families can access the same investment caliber as New York or London, making patient, conflict-free global thinking a necessity. Beyond our client work, we actively try to advise policymakers and champion best practices through media and public panels to elevate Korea’s connectedness and broader financial ecosystem. If our advocacy encourages other local firms to raise their game, I am deeply proud.

TCK was established with strategic backing from Oaktree Capital’s Howard Marks. How does his risk-first philosophy shape your global macro allocation strategy? Howard’s influence instilled a culture where managing risk takes absolute precedence over chasing returns. We don’t predict the unpredictable. Instead, we analyse current market conditions to ensure proper compensation for accepted risks, anchoring portfolios in capital preservation. I deeply value my enduring relationship with such a great investor and am thankful for his continued strategic insights, advice, and friendship. Your flagship liquid strategy delivered over 300% cumulative returns since 2013, an era where many followed false trends. How do you maintain contrarian discipline among clients? It requires deep trust and absolute transparency. Resisting the crowd when speculative trends rally takes immense discipline. However, this doesn't mean ignoring warranted local opportunities. Three years ago, we identified Korean equities trading at exceptionally low valuations. Recognising a compelling riskreward balance, we temporarily tilted toward the local market – a tactical allocation yielding our most successful trade to date. True discipline means acting on calculated data and using crowd psychology to capture asymmetric upside. Winning consecutive WealthBriefingAsia awards highlights consistent execution. Looking ahead, what personal strategic directions position TCK for the long horizon? Safeguarding multi-generational wealth requires looking beyond daily market noise. To stay ahead of future trends, I strategically dedicate more time to the Silicon Valley ecosystem. Rather than heavily deploying capital locally, the objective is to deeply understand technological waves inevitably reshaping global markets. Engaging with the Hoover Institution and lecturing at Stanford, connects me to an exceptional network anticipating the future of business and geopolitics. These environments continuously sharpen the macro perspective and global awareness we bring to clients' portfolios.

Trident Trust: Delivering Clarity and Consistency in an Increasingly Complex Environment

Winner • Independent Trust or Fiduciary Company

Marilyn See - General Manager and Head of Business Development Trident Trust Singapore

T

rident Trust is a leading independent provider of fiduciary, corporate and fund administration services. We support private clients, family offices and professional advisers globally, with a strong focus on cross-border structuring. Established more than 45 years ago and privately-owned since inception, our independence allows us to take a long-term view and deliver consistent, technically-sound solutions. Our Singapore office, with close to 100 professionals, serves high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth families across Asia, often coordinating complex, multi-jurisdictional structures through our global network. What role has collaboration, both externally and internally, played in your success? Collaboration is central to how we support clients, particularly given the complexity and cross-border nature of their affairs. Externally, we work closely with legal, tax and investment advisers, recognising that no single provider can address every aspect of a client’s requirements. Our approach is to focus on what we do best while working alongside trusted partners to deliver solutions that are both technically-robust and practical to implement. Internally, collaboration is enabled by the depth of specialisation across our global network. Our teams work closely across jurisdictions to bring together the right expertise, ensuring solutions are consistent, well coordinated and able to operate seamlessly across regulatory environments. What are the key challenges you foresee in wealth management over the next five years, and how are you positioning your business to meet them? We expect continued growth in complexity driven by geopolitical developments, regulatory change and the increasingly international nature of client structures. Clients are placing greater emphasis on governance, flexibility and long-term resilience, rather than purely transactional solutions.

Our approach is to address these considerations early by working closely with clients and their advisers. We implement structures that are robust but adaptable, supported by strong governance frameworks and ongoing coordination. We also continue to invest in our people to ensure we have the expertise required to support evolving client needs. How do you identify and develop future leaders within your organisation? We place a strong emphasis on long-term career development, which is reflected in our strong staff retention. This continuity allows us to identify future leaders over time through demonstrated judgement, depth of experience and the ability to manage increasingly complex client situations. Leadership in our environment is demonstrated through client stewardship, sound decision-making and the ability to work effectively across jurisdictions. Many of our senior leaders have developed their careers within the firm, which reflects this experience-driven approach. Development is supported through structured programmes and ongoing investment in our people. This includes external training for emerging managers and dedicated coaching initiatives for Managing Directors across Asia Pacific. Together, these efforts help build a sustainable leadership pipeline grounded in both technical capability and the ability to develop others. What does winning this award mean to your firm, and how will you use this recognition going forward? This recognition reflects the trust our clients place in us and the consistency of our approach. Much of our work is complex and carried out behind the scenes, so it is valuable to see this acknowledged. It is also a reflection of the collective effort of our team over time. This recognition reinforces the importance of maintaining high standards, and motivates us as we continue to focus on delivering long-term value for clients in an increasingly complex environment.

Your Trusted Partner for Strategic Philanthropy Highly Commended • Philanthropy Offering/ Initiative of the Year

Dickson Lim - Head TT Foundation Advisors

T

T Foundation Advisors (TTFA) is the philanthropy advisory arm of Temasek Trust. As Asia’s one-stop provider of philanthropy advisory and management services, TTFA serves philanthropic foundations, family offices, business corporations, philanthropists, and charities in achieving their desired philanthropic impact. Services include expert advisory and impact curation, effective local and regional partnerships, efficient monitoring and impact management, and access to innovative financing models. In fiscal year 2025 alone, TTFA garnered more than S$200 million in assets under advice. What has been the most impactful innovation your firm introduced recently, and how has it shaped client outcomes or internal efficiency? TTFA’s Donor-Advised Fund (DAF) enables giving strategies beyond grants, allowing clients to recycle their limited philanthropic capital and catalyse commercial capital through blended financing models to scale systemic impact. Many impact-first ventures lack the follow-on funding needed to scale their businesses and attract venture capital. Philanthropic funds provide the patient and risk capital needed to sustain these ventures, while allowing our clients, as prospective investors, to leverage this early access to de-risk potential commercial investments. Can you share a story that best illustrates your team’s commitment to client service or problem-solving? Public grants often have restricted geographies and terms for deployment, which limits projects with regional footprints or those that require global expertise, such as climate-related programmes. By catalysing S$20 million of private philanthropic capital, TTFA enabled a public-private-philanthropic partnership to augment the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB)’s Carbon Project Development Grant, to co-fund established Singapore-based project developers in high-quality Article 6 carbon development projects across the region. Through the coordination of multiple private DAFs alongside EDB grants, the initiative mobilises global resources to leverage one of the world's largest nature-based assets. It enables family offices and

foundations to collaborate on financing validated projects, supporting offtake partnerships and demand signalling to improve project viability. What role has collaboration – either internally or with external partners – played in your success? TTFA connects donors to the wider philanthropic ecosystem within Temasek Trust, leveraging its global partnerships and networks, innovative platforms, and evidence-based giving opportunities across the region and beyond for catalytic impact. This enables wealth owners to learn and adopt impact-focused strategies that drive sustainable, scalable, and systemic change. As societal challenges become increasingly global, interventions require collaboration at a global scale to ensure that limited philanthropic resources are effectively deployed and coordinated to maximise impact. This is exemplified by the recent announcement of the Global Coalition for Nuclear Philanthropy by The Rockefeller Foundation and Temasek Trust. As part of this initiative, TTFA will provide infrastructure support to its future Secretariat, including tailored donor-advised funds and grant management services. What are the key challenges you foresee in wealth management over the next five years, and how are you positioning your business to meet them? The largest intergenerational transfer of wealth in human history is now underway, with trillions of dollars expected to change hands across Asia Pacific by 2030, largely from first- to second-generation wealth owners. This presents Asia’s ultra-highnet-worth (UHNW) families with a unique opportunity not only to secure lasting prosperity, but also to shape enduring philanthropic legacies for future generations. Many of these families are keen to learn from and adapt leading strategies and practices for deploying their philanthropic capital effectively. To help catalyse this potential, TTFA partners major private banks across Asia to support their UHNW clients in curating and backing high-impact projects, while connecting them to collaborative partnerships that leverage bestin-class interventions to achieve transformational outcomes for the communities they care deeply about.

Turoid – Agentic Wealth for Family Offices What has been the most impactful innovation your firm introduced recently, and how has it shaped client outcomes or internal efficiency? Turoid builds an AI-native operating system for family offices and wealth managers. Our most impactful innovation has been not just a product feature, but a delivery model: adopting a forward-deployed engineering approach for wealth teams. Rather than simply selling software, we work directly with clients to embed AI and data infrastructure into daily workflows. Our platform creates a front-to-back operating layer that consolidates fragmented multi-bank data, automates reporting, monitors exceptions, and reduces manual reconciliation. In the front office, AI agents support investment monitoring, portfolio concentration analysis, liquidity oversight, mandate compliance, and client preparation. In live environments, this has reduced reporting cycles from weeks to days while improving insight, control, and operational efficiency. What role has collaboration – either internally or with external partners – played in your success? Collaboration is central to how we build. We see clients not simply as buyers of technology, but as partners in transformation.

Nick Wong CEO Turoid

Successful AI adoption requires conviction from both sides. Clients must believe AI can create value while also understanding the importance of governance, security, and careful implementation. That is why we work closely with relationship managers, operations teams, compliance officers, and senior leadership. Each stakeholder brings a different perspective, and our role is to align those views into solutions that support the entire organisation. What are the key challenges you foresee in wealth management over the next five years, and how are you positioning your business to meet them? Wealth management is entering a period of structural change. New competitors are emerging from Web3 firms, fintech platforms, digital brokers, and AI-native companies, while clients increasingly expect faster service, greater transparency, and more personalised insights. For family offices and external asset managers, the challenge is no longer whether technology matters, but how to adopt it safely and quickly. Firms need controlled environments to test AI tools, understand limitations, and identify practical use cases without exposing the business to unnecessary risk. Turoid is positioning itself as the operating system for this evolving environment. Where do you draw inspiration for innovation – within the wealth industry or beyond it?

Winner • Best Innovative Technology Solution

Some of the best ideas come from outside the wealth industry. At Turoid, we draw inspiration from deep technology companies solving complex real-world problems. We admire Palantir’s forward-deployed engineering model, where technical teams work closely alongside clients, as well as first-principles thinking often associated with Elon Musk’s approach to problem-solving. While wealth management will always remain relationship-driven, there is also a “physics” to the industry: data, workflows, risk, reporting, and decision-making. Agentic Wealth is our response – intelligent operating layers that help teams understand, decide, and act more effectively.

UBS Social Impact and Philanthropy: Integrating Purpose, Capital and Long-Term Value

Susan Sy Head of Social Impact and Philanthropy APAC UBS AG

Winner • Philanthropy Offering/ Initiative of the Year

What has been the most impactful innovation your firm introduced recently, and how has it shaped client outcomes or internal efficiency?

What are the key challenges you foresee in wealth management over the next five years, and how are you positioning your business to meet them?

Our most impactful innovation at UBS has been the continued evolution of an integrated philanthropy and social impact offering – bringing together advisory, structures, impact frameworks, and portfolio alignment within holistic wealth planning. This reflects the broader industry shift toward integrating impact across the full spectrum of capital, rather than treating it as a standalone activity. In practice, this enables clients to move from ad hoc giving toward intentional, measurable strategies aligned with their values, family governance, and long-term legacy. Using structured frameworks, we help clients define purpose, establish focus areas, and measure outcomes over time. The result has been greater clarity, stronger intergenerational engagement, and more coordinated client advice across UBS.

We see three interconnected challenges: rising expectations that wealth should deliver purpose alongside performance; increasing complexity from intergenerational wealth transfer and diverse family values; and greater scrutiny around the credibility and measurement of impact. At the same time, philanthropy is becoming more professionalised, requiring sophisticated tools, expertise, and governance. Leading families are increasingly moving from siloed approaches to integrated models where philanthropy, investment, and operating businesses are aligned across the full portfolio. In response, we are embedding philanthropy and social impact as a core component of holistic wealth advice. This includes continued investment in specialist expertise, structured frameworks, and client education, while leveraging UBS’s global reach and local market understanding to help clients align capital, values, and legacy with confidence.

Can you share a story that best illustrates your team’s commitment to client service or problem-solving? A recent example involved a multi-generational family seeking to professionalise a fragmented approach to philanthropy, with differing views across generations and limited next-generation engagement. As highlighted in our latest research, this is increasingly common as families seek to translate personal values into structured, evidence-based strategies. Working closely with client advisors, we facilitated values-based discussions to align around a shared purpose, define focus areas, and establish governance structures. This transformed philanthropy into a more disciplined and coordinated activity, reflecting the growing expectation that impact should be both strategic and measurable. The outcome was stronger family alignment, more focused deployment of capital, and deeper engagement across generations – building a trust-based relationship grounded in both shared purpose and longterm impact.

What does winning this award mean to your firm, and how will you use this recognition going forward? Winning 'Philanthropy Offering of the Year' is meaningful recognition of our longterm commitment to advancing strategic, outcomes-driven philanthropy. It reflects the collaboration across UBS and our focus on helping clients integrate impact more holistically into their wealth strategies. We see this recognition as a catalyst rather than an endpoint. It strengthens our credibility with clients as expectations around impact continue to rise and reinforces our commitment to ongoing investment in innovation, capabilities, and talent. Ultimately, we remain focused on helping clients shape not only their own legacy, but also the broader systems in which their capital operates – delivering meaningful, measurable impact over the long term.

Setting the Benchmark for Custody Excellence Across EAMs Winner • Overall Custodian for External Asset Managers

Michel Hofstetter - Head of Intermediaries & Private Banking Singapore, VP Bank

F

ounded in 1956 by fiduciary pioneer Guido Feger, VP Bank has built a 70-year heritage of delivering tailored financial solutions to clients and intermediaries. This spirit of partnership and entrepreneurial thinking continues to define the bank today. Intermediaries remain at the heart of VP Bank’s strategy, with approximately 60% of its Asia business generated through External Asset Managers (EAMs). This reflects the bank’s long-standing commitment to the segment through a dedicated custody and advisory model. Headquartered in Liechtenstein and serving Asia through its Singapore office, VP Bank combines stability, agility and partnership-led solutions to meet the evolving needs of clients and intermediaries. This commitment was recently recognised with the 'Best Overall Custodian for External Asset Managers' award at the WealthBriefingAsia Awards 2026. How do you cultivate a culture that consistently drives excellence and high performance? At VP Bank, culture is built on purpose, accountability and partnership. Guided by our philosophy, Partnership for Progress, we focus on long-term outcomes and collaborative success. Our values – We explore, We care and We achieve – shape how we work every day. We explore reflects our commitment to innovation, adaptability and continuous improvement. We care underscores trust, respect and meaningful relationships. We achieve highlights ownership, accountability and a focus on delivering results. Together, these values create an environment where employees are empowered to contribute, innovate and perform with purpose, enabling consistent excellence for clients. What are the key challenges you foresee in wealth management over the next five years, and how are you positioning your business to meet them? The industry is being reshaped by rising client expectations, increasing regulatory complexity and the continued growth of

independent wealth models. EAMs, in particular, face growing pressure to deliver differentiated value while maintaining operational efficiency. We believe custodians will play an increasingly strategic role in supporting this evolution. VP Bank is investing in scalable infrastructure, service consistency and technology while maintaining a clear focus on intermediaries as a core client segment. What does winning this award mean to your firm, and how will you use this recognition going forward? Winning 'Best Overall Custodian for External Asset Managers' validates our strategic direction and long-standing commitment to the EAM business. Following a period of transformation focused on strengthening the bank and positioning it for sustainable growth, this recognition reinforces the value of our partnership-led approach. As the inaugural winner of this category, the award is particularly meaningful. It reflects the trust of our clients and partners, as well as the dedication of our teams. We see it as both an endorsement of our progress and motivation to continue strengthening relationships, enhancing our offering and setting the benchmark for custody excellence. Where do you draw inspiration for innovation – from within the wealth industry or beyond it? While we closely monitor developments within wealth management, we also draw inspiration from industries known for personalised experiences, operational excellence and strong customer engagement. Our EAM clients are an especially important source of inspiration. Their entrepreneurial mindset and close alignment with client needs continually challenge us to improve. At VP Bank, innovation is practical and client-centric, focused on creating solutions that strengthen relationships, improve outcomes and deliver a seamless experience for clients and partners.

Turning Succession into Stewardship - How Wise Purpose Helps Families Build Readiness, Judgement and Continuity Across Generations

ise Purpose is a Singapore-headquartered specialist advisory firm serving family offices and business-owning families globally. We work at the intersection of psychology, family wealth governance and investment understanding, helping families and next-generation wealth holders build the readiness, alignment and judgement needed for long-term continuity. Unlike traditional wealth management firms, Wise Purpose does not manage assets or provide legal structures. Our work is senior-led, bespoke and client-centered. Felicia Heng Founder Wise Purpose

Winner • Next-Gen Programme • Women In Wealth Management Non-Banking Sector - Felicia Heng

What has been the most impactful innovation your firm has introduced recently and how has it shaped client outcomes? Our Family Succession Learning Pathway prepares rising family members for stewardship by connecting personal readiness, family alignment and practical responsibility. The pathway comprises three programmes: Succession StrateGYM™, Visioning Voyage™ and Commitment Convergence™. Together, they help families prepare the next generation, build a shared vision and translate conversations into meaningful commitments. Participants develop a stronger relationship with wealth, identity and responsibility. They become better equipped to contribute to family discussions, engage with advisers and exercise sound judgement around capital. Families build stronger foundations for trust, accountability and decision-making. What are the key challenges you foresee in wealth management over the next five years, and how are you positioning your business to meet them? Wealth continuity depends on more than technical expertise. We see four key challenges ahead – intergenerational transition, family office professionalisation, alignment around purpose and capital, and emotional or relational risk. Family alignment is tested through decisions involving capital, risk, control and authority. While many successors are highly educated and globally exposed, they still need the judgement and confidence required to steward complex wealth. Fam-

ilies also need clearer governance and effective ways to address tensions before they affect continuity. Wise Purpose works alongside private banks, external asset managers, trustees, lawyers and investment advisers to strengthen the human and decision-making foundations that allow wealth strategies to endure across generations. What does winning these awards mean to your firm, and how will you use this recognition going forward? Winning 'Best Next-Generation Programme' and 'Women in Wealth Management - Non-Banking Sector', validates work that has often sat outside the traditional focus of wealth management but is critical to continuity. These awards affirm our belief that succession readiness, family decision-making and stewardship deserve the same rigour as portfolio construction, tax planning and structuring. We will use this recognition to deepen engagement with families, family offices and advisers who see stewardship and decision-making as central to preserving wealth across generations. Where do you draw inspiration for innovation, within the wealth industry or beyond it? Both. Our strongest inspiration comes from the moments where wealth, relationships and responsibility intersect. Succession planning, post-liquidity transitions and family office professionalisation require psychological insight, governance expertise and an understanding of capital stewardship. My background in psychology shaped how I understand identity, transition, family dynamics and decision-making. Experience in international banking, including roles at J.P. Morgan Private Bank and Standard Chartered, provided deep exposure to wealth management and capital decisions. Work with UHNW families reinforced my belief that continuity depends on making sound decisions amid the complexities of capital, relationships and responsibility. At Wise Purpose, we turn succession into a practical progression: prepare the individual, shape a shared vision and transform conversations into behaviours that sustain stewardship across generations.

Delivering First-Class Cross-Border Legal Solutions with Global Expertise How Do You Cultivate a Culture That Consistently Drives Excellence and High Performance? We emphasise from the outset and practice at all levels the importance of intellectual curiosity. In addition to an “open door” policy, we foster an “open mind” mindset so we challenge each other constantly and at all levels. In this time of hallucinations and slop, it is vital that we probe and prod to define the facts, assumptions and arguments to help our clients. We also include on our team people from different backgrounds so we have the benefit of different perspectives on issues. Because so much of our work involve issues of great importance and very personal to each client, it is critical we habitually practice this approach such that it has become our “culture”. What role has collaboration – either internally or with external partners – played in your success? Collaboration plays a huge role in how we work (I would not use the word “Success”). We learn from everyone we work with and it is that collaboration - especially with outside parties - that teaches us how to be better. We work with advisors and clients in a multitude of jurisdictions and backgrounds and we have the privilege of learning how things and people work in other places, cultures and legal systems. What are the key challenges you foresee in wealth management over the next five years, and how are you positioning your business to meet them? The key challenge (and opportunity as we Chinese like to say) is geopolitical uncertainty. Our clients and their assets and investments are spread throughout the world and their businesses and, sometimes, families are buffeted by the turbulent geopolitical winds. Humans often do not like to adapt to change and it is more difficult to react to changes than to have anticipated them. Our role has been to stay on top of these potential changes in order to prepare clients ahead of time if at all possible. How do you identify and develop future leaders within your organisation? We do not identify and develop future leaders; we have an environment where future leaders can develop and grow. We do not have artificial timelines for partnership. We encourage younger lawyers to tackle all aspects of the practice and encourage to work in as many facets as possible so they can grow at their own pace and develop their leadership skills by constantly challenging them and pushing beyond their comfort zones.

Building Trust Through Collaboration and Leadership How do you cultivate a culture that consistently drives excellence and high performance? In many practices, excellence comes from blending technical precision with genuine teamwork. I cultivate high performance by setting clear expectations while giving team members the space to lead in their areas of strength. From trainees and paralegals handling document amendments to senior colleagues managing complex transactions, I encourage accountability balanced with guidance. Regular feedback sessions help everyone understand the interconnected nature of our work. This approach builds not just capability, but confidence. What role has collaboration – either internally or with external partners – played in your success? Collaboration is the backbone of our success in cross-border private client work. Internally, I work closely with our PRC office colleagues on seamless Mainland-Hong Kong matters. Externally, we collaborate with offshore counsel from BVI, Cayman, Luxembourg, Canada and the US, as well as tax advisors across jurisdictions.

Jessica Kwok Partner Zhong Lun Law Firm LLP

My roles on STEP Hong Kong’s sub-committees further amplify this network, enabling insight-sharing with industry peers. When specialists work together with a shared client goal, the outcome is always stronger. How do you identify and develop future leaders within your organisation? I spot potential in curiosity, initiative, and client focus – qualities I nurture through hands-on mentoring. With juniors in the team, I give them responsibility early while guiding them through more complex transactions. I also supervise university students through the STEP work experience programme, giving them exposure to real private client practice and sparking interest in this field. My approach is straightforward: share what I've learned over nearly a decade at the firm, be available when guidance is needed, and let people grow through practical experience. As a new Partner, I see developing others as part of my role, and I am also learning every day from everyone on the team to become a better leader. Where do you draw inspiration for innovation – within the wealth industry or beyond it?

Winner • Wealth Management Rising Star Under 40 - Jessica Kwok

We draw inspiration from both within the private wealth industry and beyond it. Our clients are often highly knowledgeable and ahead of the curve in their own fields, so their perspectives give us valuable insight into emerging expectations and trends. We also look to other industries for ideas on client service, innovation and efficiency, then adapt those lessons to our own work.

Institutional quality. Personal attention. CW Asset Management was founded on the belief that private clients should have access to institutional-quality investment management without sacrificing personal attention.

The most important change we've made recently wasn't a new product – it was strengthening our process. We've moved from periodic portfolio reviews to continuous monitoring, allowing us to identify risks earlier and respond more quickly as market conditions change.

For our clients, that means fewer surprises, more proactive decision-making, and portfolios that remain aligned with their objectives.

We're honoured by this recognition, but we see it as a reflection of the work we've done so far – and a reminder of the standard we need to continue meeting every day.
