WELCOME TO AROUND THE GROUNDS Term 2 GSV is speeding to its conclusion super-fast!

Well done to all students who competed in the GSV Cross Country Championships last Friday! A great effort by each and every runner!

We are now heading into the final fixtured round of GSV matches, and then we have a number of teams set for finals in Week 9!

Sign ups for Term 3 GSV sports are only open for one more week, and you can find all the trials dates and info on the next page!

IMPORTANT REMINDERS: TERM 3 GSV SIGN UPS Last chance to sign up for Term 3 GSV is June 13th! Jump on and sign up NOW! Indoor Cricket, Badminton, Soccer and Senior (9-12s) Water Polo are the 4 sports on offer.

TERM 3 TRIALS These will commence from Tuesday 17th June through to Thursday 26th June. Be sure to pop these dates in your diary!

Badminton: All trials in the PEC JS - Tue 17/6, 7am-8am, Tue 24/6, 7am-8am and Thurs 26/6, 3.30pm-5pm MS - Wed 18/6, 3.30pm-5pm, Mon 23/6, 7am-8am and Wed 25/6, 3.30pm-5pm SS - Wed 18/6, 7am-8am and Wed 25/6, 7am-8am Indoor Cricket: All trials in the PEC JS - Tue 17/6, 12.35pm-1.20pm lunchtime and Tue 24/6, 12.35pm-1.20pm lunchtime, MS and SS - Wed 18/6 12.35pm-1.20pm lunchtime and Wed 25/6, 12.35pm-1.20pm Soccer: All trials at Glenferrie Oval, students to walk down with coaches after school JS - Wed 18/6, 3.30pm-5pm and Wed 25/6 3.30pm-5pm MS & SS - Tue 17/6, 3.30pm-5pm and Tue 24/6, 3.30pm-5pm 9-12 Water Polo: MLC Pool Mon 23/6, 12.35pm-1.20pm lunchtime, meet pool deck

TERM 2 GSV FINALS/ HOUSE CROSS COUNTRY GSV Finals for any teams that qualify are: Wed 18th June (MS), Thurs 19th June (JSS) and Friday 20th June (9-12 AFL).

Once the final round is completed, we will communicate which teams have qualified.

Remember most finals are full day events with multiple matches occurring over the duration of the day.

Please note: JSS FINALS ON JUNE 19 will clash with the MLC House Cross Country.

If you are in one of the teams to qualify for GSV JSS Finals on June 19th (potentially - AFL As & Bs; Hockey As and a few various Waverley JSS Netball teams) you will not be able to attend the House Cross Country.

We will inform all those impacted as soon as we hear from the GSV with further details.
