GENERAL MANAGER MESSAGE

We’re excited to officially kick off the Member Course greens and driving range renovation! This long-anticipated project marks an important step forward for the future of the Club. We’re off to a strong start, with initial work focused on removing the existing greens material and beginning the shaping of the new greens. Be sure to keep an eye out for continued updates as the project progresses

As a reminder, members may now book tee times on the Tournament Course up to 10 days in advance, beginning at 6:00 AM. Additionally, tee times at BlackHorse and BlackHawk (South Course) will be available 4 days in advance, also starting at 6:00 AM.

Please note that the Member driving range is now closed A designated Member-only section has been set up on the Tournament Range and will remain available throughout the summer while the range renovation is underway.

We’re excited about these improvements and look forward to seeing you at the Club soon!

GOLF COURSE MAINTENANCE

Both golf courses really look good as consistent warmer temperatures have got the turf growing.

In April, we saw our team complete several projects around the course to improve playability and enhance the Member experience. We added sand to all the greenside bunkers on the Member course. Repaired entry/exit points on the Tournament course bunkers. In April, we also saw our robotic fairway units delivered and implemented for daily use, freeing up staff to focus on more detail items throughout the courses.

This month we will begin our greens renovation on the Member course. We are extremely excited to see the changes made and how this will surely affect how the course plays out. With nearly an acre gained of greens surfaces, there will be some pin locations never seen in many years. Along with the greens renovation, the Member range tee will be expanded by nearly 50% to ensure ample teeing surface is in great condition at all times.

I’ll see you on the course!

PRIVATE EVENTS

EVENT SALES DIRECTOR

Being of service to our tournament clients means accommodating as many special requests as possible. We understand that adding on-course activations and other specialty sponsor requests goes with the territory—and that’s part of the partnership that we form with our clients. While we encourage great pace of play for all golf outings, making an event memorable entails incorporating those special touches during play. Is your company considering hosting an event? Connect with the experts in the events department—we’re a phone call away!

Greetings Membership Family,

As we head into May, there’s a great deal of excitement and a bit of transition within our club We’re thrilled to welcome Chef Marcos Leal, our new Senior Executive Chef, who has already begun bringing fresh energy and creativity to the kitchen Over the coming weeks, you’ll start to see new menu features and thoughtful updates that reflect both seasonal inspiration and a refined culinary vision.

With the temporary closure of the Member Course for our greens project, we recognize that routines may shift, but we see this as a wonderful opportunity to spend more time connecting off the course Our Food & Beverage team is ready to make the clubhouse your go-to destination, with new chef-driven specials, expanded cocktail offerings, and a lineup of dining events designed to bring members together.

The Terrace remains a perfect setting to relax and unwind, and we encourage you to take full advantage of the social side of the club during this time As always, our team is committed to delivering exceptional service and memorable experiences Thank you for your continued support we look forward to sharing this exciting new chapter with you.

Thoughtfully,

WELLNESS

ARROWFIT

Balance And Stability

Balance and stability are the quiet foundations of a strong, capable body They affect everything from how confidently you move through daily life to how well you handle lifting, twisting, carrying, and reacting to unexpected slips or changes in position. When your body is stable, movement feels smoother, safer, and more efficient.

Strength training is one of the best ways to build that stability because it teaches your muscles, joints, and nervous system to work together Over time, it improves control, coordination, and posture while also helping protect against falls and nagging injuries It is not just about getting stronger in the mirror; it is about becoming stronger in real life

A simple exercise that works well at home or in the gym is the Static Lunge. Stand in a staggered stance with one foot forward and one back. Lower your body slowly until both knees bend, then press through the front foot to stand back up. Keep your torso upright and your core tight. This movement challenges balance, strengthens the legs and glutes, and builds the kind of stability that carries over to walking, climbing stairs, and athletic performance

Consistent strength work creates a body that is not only powerful, but steady and resilient
