SUCCESS STORIES

LAS VEGAS With a New Business win this summer, Cliff Gould closed Marketon Supermarkets! Following through as one of our Senior IMSCs, Cliff successfully approached the development of this account by placing an emphasis on acting as a true consultant with this client. From the onset, Cliff garnered an 80% share of the client’s TV and 50% of the radio budgets. Soon after, Cliff successfully overtook 100% of the client’s television budget by closely monitoring the volume of their initial schedules not airing on Telemundo due to their poor spot placement. Cliff worked closely with our digital, promotions and creative services teams to come up with the “Marketón por la Educación” initiative and launched the First Annual Student of the Month Awards in conjunction with our local public schools. This campaign includes on-air promotional messaging and a dedicated landing page for online nominations: www.MarketonPorLaEducacion.com. This important initiative garnered an additional investment in sponsorship revenue. The campaign launched on August 20th. Within the first 72 hours about 60 entries were submitted. The client is beyond thrilled with the results. All in all, Cliff has almost doubled the Marketon monthly investment for the remainder of this client’s annual. We are proud of Cliff’s efforts in providing unique solutions to a new advertiser while placing Entravision Communications as an important community partner in support of Education in Las Vegas!

The 24/7 uninterrupted live stream on http://www.unmillonparalosninos.com kicked off on Thursday August 2nd and ended on August 4th. The Radiothon featured Entravision’s top nationally recognized radio talent from syndicated shows. The donations will be utilized by local children’s hospitals to help fund critical treatments, healthcare services, pediatric medical equipment and charitable care, as well as to provide treatment to low-income patients. THANK YOU to our Entravision teams for making this year’s Radiothon a success!

ORLANDO On August 4th, Entravision Orlando’s Univision and 98.1 Salsa y Más kicked off their annual back-toschool event at the Oviedo Mall. Over 10,000 people came to enjoy the festivities and pick up backpacks and school supplies! Our audience and listeners also took advantage of free haircuts. All of our On-Air personalities, JR “Al Aire,” JJ Cardona “El Papurri,” Esthermi “La Lobita,” and DJ Frankie G from 98.1 Salsa y Más broadcasted live, inviting our listeners to stop by the mall and get a sneak peak of what was planned for the day. Luis Mercado, Marielkis Salazar, Ambar Rincon and Paul Gamache from Univision Orlando interacted with the community while inviting followers via live cut-ins through our airwaves and through Facebook live to join us at the festivities occurring at the Oviedo Mall.

LAREDO

On August 10th, Entravision Sacramento’s La Tricolor, La Suavecita, Hot and The Wolf teamed up for the Blood Source annual blood drive. This is the 8th year that Entravision Sacramento has been involved!

Entravision Laredo and MetroPCS teamed up in August for a successful school supply drive. In three days, Entravision Laredo and MetroPCS gave out over 500 bags! Even the 100 plus heat did not stop parents and their kids from coming to the event. This is a long running sales promotion that IMSC Minelly DeLeon has successfully maintained for the last 5 years resulting in a wonderful way to give to the community!

Also in August, Sacramento’s The Wolf, Hot, La Tricolor and La Suavecita teamed up with Hoblit Dodge and the Red Cross to raise money for victims of the Carr Fire and Mendocino Complex Fires in Northern California. Over $1,100 dollars in cash were raised that day. Online donations and $100 of every car sold is being donated by Hoblit through Sept 4th. Check out Wolfie and the team’s fundraising efforts:
