Starlink Overview

Flexjet is the first and only fractional provider to adopt Starlink—setting the standard for cabin connectivity by offering high-speed internet on the world’s most advanced private jets. In 2023, the company secured exclusive FAA rights and approvals to install this technology on Gulfstream G650s. Since then, Flexjet has engineered and received an additional 11 FAA approvals for proprietary installation kits designed for a variety of aircraft.

Developed by SpaceX, Starlink provides high-speed, low-latency internet worldwide, utilizing an advanced constellation of more than 4,500 Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellites. This state-of-the-art technology ensures reliable connectivity over land, water and remote areas. The system uses a phased-array antenna that has no moving parts and eliminates environmental variances that can impair performance.

Today, Starlink is equipped throughout our entire global fleet of large cabin Gulfstream aircraft, with installation to our super-midsize Challenger 350/3500 and Praetor 600 fleet in progress throughout 2025 and 2026.

INTRODUCING THE ULTIMATE IN CABIN CONNECTIVITY

FAST FACTS

STAY CONNECTED

Passengers can stream TV shows or movies on multiple devices without buffering, take in-flight video conference calls with your onboard colleagues and download content effortlessly. With Starlink you can connect before takeoff and stay connected until after touchdown

SIGNAL STABILITY

No more waiting until 10,000 feet only to connect to a frustratingly inconsistent in-cabin Wi-Fi experience. For example, if you are still engaged in a conference call during landing, you will remain uninterrupted no matter the stage of the journey. No other provider can offer this signal stability.

ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY

Flexjet is proud to have identified and adapted the most advanced technology to keep our aircraft Owners connected anywhere in the world and our fleet as one of the most meticulously outfitted in the industry.

SEAMLESS ACCESS

Reliable internet access is an indispensable amenity and providing seamless high-speed access is vital for a superior travel experience, regardless of your mission or purpose.

WHY WAS STARLINK INTEGRATED?

Starlink was explicitly chosen to address the shortcomings of current in-flight Wi-Fi technology, netting an average performance that is three-anda-half times better than conventional connectivity. The Starlink satellite constellation sits in low-Earth orbit, which minimizes the latency of the signal and the hardware features a phased array antenna that is far more reliable than legacy systems.
