STARLINK
Flexjet is the first fractional provider to adopt Starlink—setting the standard for cabin connectivity by offering high-speed internet on the world’s most advanced private jets. In 2023, the company secured exclusive FAA rights and approvals to install this technology on Gulfstream G650s. Since then, Flexjet has engineered and received an additional 11 FAA approvals for proprietary installation kits designed for a variety of aircraft.
Developed by SpaceX, Starlink provides high-speed, low-latency internet worldwide, utilizing an advanced constellation of more than 10,000 Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellites. This state-of-the-art technology ensures reliable connectivity over land, water and remote areas. The system uses a phased-array antenna that has no moving parts and eliminates environmental variances that can impair performance.
Today, all Gulfstream G650 and G450 aircraft are Starlink-equipped, with installation on the remainder of the fleet in progress through 2026 and 2027.

WHY WAS STARLINK INTEGRATED?
Starlink was explicitly chosen to address the shortcomings of current in-flight Wi-Fi technology, netting an average performance that is three-anda-half times better than conventional connectivity.
