WELCOME TO AROUND THE GROUNDS What a week of GSV Sport we have had!

On top of all the weekly games of Football, Hockey and Netball we have also competed in the School State Tennis finals and the GSV Preliminary Cross Country This FRIDAY 23rd at 4pm is the MLC vs Genazzano Reconciliation Footy Match at Xavier College. We encourage everyone to come down after school and cheer on our girls! There will be a ceremony at 3.50pm and not one, but two matches to come support! You don’t want to miss this!

IMPORTANT REMINDERS: Be sure to continually check your Teams message group for the most up to date information regarding training, fixturing, matches and departure times.

This is also the best contact point to reach your coaches to let them know of any absences for training or matches. Your attendacne is expected at both each week of the season.

PERFORMANCE OF THE WEEK 1 Performance of the week number 1 goes to our MLC Tennis Team!

TENNIS PREMIERS Last Thursday Coach Katie Heargraves and her Senior Tennis stars headed to the Monash Tennis Centre to compete in the State School Championships. They were awarded this honour by taking out the GSV Senior Tennis in Term 1.

After a day full of close and exciting matches they were crowned STATE PREMIERS! Congratulations to Lisa A, Sammy B, Caitlin C, Kayla C, Anya L, Claire L and Annabelle T!

PERFORMANCE OF THE WEEK 2 Performance of the week (number 2!) goes to our Preliminary GSV Cross Country Team!

On Tuesday over 70 MLC students along with our super Coach Kate Richardson, took on other GSV schools at the Preliminary Cross-Country event.

Each and every student that ran gave their best effort and competed strongly.

MLC were again crowned as Prelim A Champions!

Well done to ALL competitors and a special shout to the following Junior Squad - Champions Juniors - 2nd Alessia McG, 3rd Phoebe G Inter Squad - Champions Inters - 2nd Annabelle R, 3rd Moni W
