A competition of
creativity and
transformation
Created by: ITALIA WILSON A competition that will feature The Bahamas’ best Make-up Artists, battling in each episode for the title of Best in Brushed! The show will feature challenges aimed at showcasing the talents of each artist, and will push them to stretch their imaginations, test their creativity, as they work on transforming their subjects into works of art! Challenges will feature fashion make-up and special effects make-up, as competitors show viewers their range of transformative ability. The winner of the competition will be crowned as The Bahamas’ newest Master Artist, get $10,000 in prize money and a full scholarship to The School of Makeup International!

Challenge: Create a personal look and showcase the before and after in an exciting TikTok video.
Brushed Six Oooh oooh Junkanoo!
Challenge: Create a face chart based on a Junkanoo theme. The winning chart will be used on dancers for a live performance.

Call me master! The winner is announced as The Bahamas newest Master Artist.

Meet our creator
ITALIA WILSON
With a start in law enforcement, as a police officer on the Royal Bahamas Police Force, Italia Wilson found
freedom, fun
and a chance to
flex her creative muscles
working as a makeup artist part-time. Now, she is a makeup artist with almost twenty years of experience. Italia is
extremely passionate about makeup artistry and has dedicated much of her time and talent to
fostering fledgling artists
wanting to improve their craft. She and her sister Joconda Grant are now the owners of
Eye Candy Makeup Store,
with locations in both Nassau and Harbour Island.
