WELCOME TO AROUND THE GROUNDS Term 4 is here and our GSV teams are ready to go!

Matches commence from Monday 13th October with games scheduled on the following days: Monday & Wednesday - Seniors; Basketball and Cricket.

Note SS has a condensed season and is all completed by Oct 29th.

Tuesday - JSS Water Polo Wednesday - Inters; Basketball and Touch Football.

Thursday - Juniors; Basketball, Cricket and Touch Football.

WATER POLO

IMPORTANT REMINDERS: Please ensure you are all set and ready for your GSV commitments for Term 4.

This includes attendance at both training and matches as scheduled. You should now be able to see this on your timetable. It is expected that you attend all scheduled sessions and commit to your team for the full season. Any absences need to be communicated to your team coaches.

Students are required to always wear the full and correct sports uniform when representing MLC. Please wear appropriate footwear, bring your own water bottle and any required medication. For Term 4, don’t forget your hats and sunscreen for all outdoor sports.

Specific sports requirements listed below.

BASKETBALL Match Day Uniform requirements are the MLC Basketball Singlet you MUST have a number. (see picture) These are available to be purchased at the Uniform shop if you do not yet have one.

CRICKET For Cricket the Match Day Uniform requirements are the MLC competition top and MLC shorts/trackpants. MLC will provide all the required equipment to players.

TOUCH FOOTBALL Touch Football Match Day Uniform requirements are the MLC competition top and MLC shorts. Mouthguards are recommended. MLC will provide the required equipment to all players.

WATER POLO For Water Polo Students are required to wear the black MLC Swimsuit. MLC will provide numbered playing caps and all equipment. Please remember to bring your towel and warm clothes to change into for the trip home.

ALL TEAMS WHEN TRAVELLING AWAY: For teams that are fixtured AWAY games, you are to meet your coaches promptly at the Chapel car park by 2.50pm. You MUST have your name ticked off and be ready for a 3pm bus departure. Arrival time back at MLC will vary depending on travel time and venue. It is important that if you cannot play due to sickness or injury, this is communicated as early as possible to your coaches. You will be attendance tracked and all absences will need to be approved.
