Contents WEALTHBRIEFING CHANNEL ISLANDS AWARDS JUDGING PANEL ...........................................................................

Foreword STEPHEN HARRIS CEO, WealthBriefing The WealthBriefing Channel Islands Awards, now in their fourth year, celebrate excellence in the region’s wealth management sector, which is known for its stability in uncertain times. The awards recognise the hard work and expertise of professionals serving high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients, while also helping the industry stay informed about sector developments and inspiring continued improvement.

Judging is carried out by independent experts from banking, family offices, consultancies and related fields, with a strong focus on the quality and relevance of each submission. Award categories are reviewed regularly to ensure that they remain meaningful. These awards play a valuable role in branding, marketing and morale-building for firms, giving winners an opportunity to reflect on their progress. Ultimately, they honour the talent and dedication that underpin the success of the Channel Islands’ wealth sector.

OVERVIEW OF THE CHANNEL ISLANDS WEALTH MANAGEMENT SECTOR The banking, wealth management and advisory sectors in Jersey and Guernsey form a major share of each jurisdiction’s economy, and their significance continues to grow. While their appeal is often linked to tax competitiveness – especially as larger countries consider higher tax regimes – the islands offer far more than favourable rates. Over decades, they have built deep expertise in wealth management, supported by concentrated financial institutions and specialist professionals. This clustering has created strong ecosystems with their own momentum. In Jersey, financial services accounted for 38.5 per cent of gross value added in 2024, according to Statistics Jersey. In Guernsey, financial services generated around 37 per cent of GDP in 2023. These figures highlight the sector’s central role on both islands. A combination of geopolitical uncertainty, shifting global

5

markets and the need for families and businesses to diversify international footprints has kept the islands firmly on the map. Their position – close to Europe yet globally connected – adds to this relevance. At the same time, they have adapted to rising regulatory standards, stricter compliance demands and growing expectations around transparency. In many cases, they have implemented changes earlier and more comprehensively than larger onshore centres. Alongside financial institutions, a wide range of support services, technology providers and specialist advisers contribute to a dynamic industry. New ventures continue to appear, reflecting confidence in these jurisdictions as places to build and scale businesses. The diversity of services, depth of experience and longstanding professional culture ensure that Jersey and Guernsey remain leading international finance centres of the highest calibre.

The Judging Panel The 2025 awards programme was focused around three main category groupings: experts (individuals and teams); products and services for wealth managers/clients; and institutions of all sizes and types in the Channel Islands region. Independence, integrity and genuine insight were the watchwords of the process, with the judging panels made up of some of the industry’s top trusted advisors and bankers. Judges were split into groups dependent on their industry; so trusted advisors were responsible for judging the private banking categories and private bankers judged the trusted advisor categories. This ensured that commercially sensitive information was kept confidential and conflicts of interest were avoided.

Accuro: Leading with Care, Innovation and Purpose Winner • Independent Trust Company with AuA over £5 Billion

Accuro

A

ccuro is a trust, fiduciary and private office group focusing exclusively on the ultra-high net worth (£100+m AuA) private wealth market, with a 50-year heritage. Our holistic approach – encompassing governance, succession and purpose – makes us a distinctive choice for families. We are proud to serve as trusted advisers to those navigating the complexities of wealth across generations and jurisdictions. What has been the most impactful innovation your firm introduced recently, and how has it shaped client outcomes or internal efficiency?

This year Accuro Jersey became the first business of its kind in the Channel Islands to undergo an external sustainability audit. This independent verification demonstrates how seriously Accuro takes ESG themes and good governance, reinforcing trust and transparency for our clients. Accuro is deeply committed to systemic change. We embrace opportunities for innovation in best practice and responsible stewardship and we lead by example, helping to raise industry standards and create a more responsible ecosystem for wealth management, capable of delivering effectively on client ambitions for values-led investment and legacy. How do you cultivate a culture that consistently drives excellence and high performance? Our ownership model, held entirely by founders, management and staff since a management buyout in 2017, has always aligned individual success with the success of the firm. Our independence empowers us to shape our services around our values and vision. ‘Accuro’ is derived from the Latin word: ‘care’. As our name suggests, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring our actions and those of our clients are reviewed with a holistic triple-bottom-line approach: considering people,

planet and profit, as enshrined in our constitutional documents and daily practices. As entrepreneurs and business owners, we champion responsible enterprise and sustainable growth. On 1 October 2025, Accuro was acquired (pending regulatory approval) by Opera Group Limited, a privately held group of fiduciary, corporate and fund administration businesses majority owned by entrepreneur Stephen Lansdown CBE (co-founder of Hargreaves Lansdown) and the family office of Tom Scott. What role has collaboration, either internally or with external partners, played in your success? Collaboration is central to our success. Internally, we deliver holistic, cross-border solutions that leverage expertise across Accuro Group, and deliver synchronised services from multiple jurisdictions for globally mobile clients. Externally, we work closely with legal and tax advisors to ensure precision and compliance, carefully selecting professional service providers who most closely align with our clients’ priorities on an individualised basis. Beyond client work, we partner with regulators and industry bodies to advance sustainable finance frameworks, reinforcing our leadership in responsible wealth management. What does winning this award mean to your firm, and how will you use this recognition going forward? This accolade forms part of a broader pattern of industry recognition that continues to validate our purpose-led strategy and reinforces our role as a catalyst for responsible wealth stewardship. Collectively, these acknowledgements amplify our voice, attract like-minded clients and talent, and demonstrate that our approach is consistently celebrated across the sector.

Advisory Services Group: Setting Clients Up to Thrive Mel Torode - Founder & Director Cathy Lloyd - Founder & Director Advisory Services (Guernsey) Ltd

Winner • Boutique or Specialist Service

Congratulations on winning Boutique Firm of the Year. What does this recognition mean to you? We are incredibly proud to be recognised by WealthBriefing. When we founded Advisory Services Group in late 2021, our vision was to create a truly independent firm that combined deep regulatory expertise with commercial pragmatism. To receive this award just a few years later is testament to the hard work and dedication of our talented team, our valued clients, and the reputation we’ve built for solving complex challenges with clarity and integrity. Can you tell us more about your journey and growth so far? It’s been a remarkable few years. We’ve grown to over 20 professionals and generated revenues exceeding £3 million, serving more than 60 regulated clients across multiple jurisdictions. We launched with compliance and governance advisory services, and soon expanded into corporate secretarial through AS Corporate Secretarial Ltd and more recently transformation delivery through Advisory Business Solutions Ltd. Each business line is built around our shared belief in creating value through practical expertise. Equally important, we’ve created a people-first culture. This year, we launched our Employee Benefit Trust, and are proud that 80% of our colleagues became shareholders – a milestone that reflects our belief in shared success and long-term partnership.

How do you define success as a boutique advisory firm? For us, success is measured by trust. Our clients rely on us for clarity in complex situations – whether that’s regulatory remediation, governance reviews, or strategic transformation. The diversity of our team’s experience allows us to see challenges from multiple perspectives and deliver solutions that are both compliant and commercial. We also believe in building the next generation of professionals, funding professional qualifications and supporting continued learning across our team. Community engagement is central to your ethos – how do you give back? We take pride in being an active part of the Guernsey community. Every team member is encouraged to dedicate two paid days each year to community initiatives and it is a core objective for all staff. We support Les Bourgs Hospice through a three-year sponsorship of their “12 Bays of Christmas” event and contribute to organisations such as the Guernsey Welfare Service and the Priaulx Premature Baby Foundation. We also share our expertise through training and volunteering – for example, leading sessions for the Association of Guernsey Charities and holding Directorship roles in the third sector. What’s next for Advisory Services Group? Our focus remains on sustainable growth – continuing to expand our services in line with client needs while staying true to our values. We’re exploring new jurisdictions, enhancing our digital and business transformation capabilities, and deepening our relationships with clients who value our hands-on, trusted approach. This award celebrates what we’ve achieved so far, but it also inspires us to continue delivering excellence in everything we do.

Building the Modern Blueprint for Wealth Structuring Where do you draw inspiration for innovation – within the wealth industry or beyond it?

How do you cultivate a culture that consistently drives excellence and high performance?

Largely beyond it. As an independent, award-winning, digitally enabled capital structuring and administration firm, Cavenwell looks to industries that are ahead in technology adoption and operational design – Big Tech, FinTech and SaaS. We adapt those concepts within the regulatory framework of our sector.

It starts with hiring the right people, those who share our values of professionalism, curiosity, and integrity. We then invest deeply in their development. With my background as a university lecturer, training and education is embedded in our DNA: every member of our team either holds or is actively studying toward a recognised professional qualification.

Innovation in wealth management often originates elsewhere, and by observing how other sectors drive efficiency, transparency and user experience, we are able to reimagine how fiduciary and structuring services should be delivered. The result is a business that combines the technical depth and governance discipline of a traditional trust company with the agility and efficiency of a tech firm.

Andrew Horbury Founder & Group Chief Executive Officer Cavenwell Group

What has been the most impactful innovation your firm introduced recently, and how has it shaped client outcomes or internal efficiency?

What are the key challenges you foresee in wealth management over the next five years, and how are you positioning your business to meet them?

It’s difficult to single out one innovation because continuous improvement is part of who we are. Our core proposition is built on the principle that fiduciary providers have an ethical obligation to be more efficient, and not to be rewarded for inefficiency through time-spent billing models.

Technology remains both the greatest opportunity and the greatest risk to our industry. Firms that fail to evolve their models or manage technology responsibly will be left behind. Those that don’t get ahead of it proactively also risk exposure to “shadow AI” – the unregulated, unsupervised use of emerging tools that could compromise compliance and confidentiality.

Concentric Group on Triple Award Success and What’s Next

C

oncentric Group has just won three prestigious awards – 'Chief Executive Officer of the Year', 'International Wealth Planning' and 'Insurance Product or Service Platform'.

What does this recognition mean for the firm? Gordon Bennie, CEO: It really is a proud moment for the whole team. These awards reflect the principles we set out with when we launched Concentric in 2018, clarity, performance, and integrity. We’ve grown from a small start-up into a trusted investment consultancy supporting more than 1,000 clients, managing hundreds of millions in investment portfolios and close to £1 billion in treasury solutions. For us, the recognition isn’t just about innovation; it’s about the culture we’ve worked hard to build, one that’s collaborative, accountable, and always puts clients first. Let’s talk about International Wealth Planning. What sets Concentric apart in this space? What sets us apart is that we focus on people, not products. We take time to understand a client’s goals, family situation, and priorities, and then build a plan that genuinely fits their needs. A lot of clients come to us with complex arrangements, pensions in different places, offshore structures, succession issues, and our role is to make everything clearer and easier to manage. Our team approach is a big part of it too. Every client benefits from input across advisers, analysts, and compliance, which means the advice is well thought through and practical. And as a CISI Chartered Firm, we hold ourselves to high professional and ethical standards, which clients recognise straight away. In simple terms, we help people make good decisions about their wealth and give them confidence about the long term. Inputs and outcomes. That’s really the difference.

Chris Curtis - Director Gordon Bennie - CEO David Lockhart - Business Development Concentric Group

The Insurance Product or Service Platform award recognises innovation. Tell us about Strategic and the Concentric Platform. Strategic is our tech-enabled consultancy model. It brings together advanced analytics, centralised custody, and real-time oversight so clients get a clearer, more precise view of their wealth. Building on that, we launched the Concentric Platform in 2025, the first advisory-owned custody and client access platform in the Channel Islands. It will provide portal-based reporting, performance insights, and governance tools in once place. The aim is simple: blend smart technology with human expertise so clients achieve the best returns from their investment arrangements. And the CEO award – what’s your leadership philosophy? For me, leadership is about responsibility. It’s creating an environment where people feel valued, supported, and able to do their best work. At Concentric, we try to combine ambition with accountability and intellect with genuine intent. I’ve always believed you can run a commercially successful business while staying true to a strong moral compass. Our growth – a team of 24 professionals, £1.6 million turnover, and more than £1 billion in client assets – has come from trust and professionalism, not chasing expansion for its own sake. I’m proud to lead a firm that aims to raise standards in our industry and delivers for clients.

Building a Culture of Excellence in a Changing Wealth Management Landscape Winner • Female Leadership

Heather Tibbo CEO Crestbridge Family Office Services

How do you cultivate a culture that consistently drives excellence and high performance? Our service-driven culture is at the heart of what we do and is central to how we approach recruitment, training and develop our people. As a privately owned firm, our independence enables an exclusive focus on clients, allowing us to allocate resources, define processes, and refine our technical capabilities specifically to support their needs. This ensures the consistent delivery of service excellence. A further key differentiator underpinning our high-performance culture is our commitment to resourcing our business based on clients’ specific needs, rather than headcount-to-client ratios. By prioritising client outcomes over financial performance, we are able to preserve and enhance our service-oriented ethos. What role has collaboration – either internally or with external partners – played in your success? Collaboration is fundamental to our ability to deliver value, given the relationship-driven nature of our services. Internally, we promote a non-hierarchical structure and cross-disciplinary teamwork, integrating expertise from different functions to provide seamless, holistic support. Knowledge sharing is culturally embedded, and with open communication channels allow challenges to be addressed collectively and efficiently. Externally, we work with trusted specialists, technology partners, and industry networks to enhance our capabilities, access emerging insights and deliver innovative solutions. These collaborative relationships strengthen our service offering and accelerate problem solving, allowing us to stay ahead of industry developments and changing client expectations. What are the key challenges you foresee in wealth management over the next five years, and how are you positioning your business to meet them? Amid rapidly shifting geopolitics and a fast-evolving, AI-driven

technology landscape, family office services are undergoing significant change. Our team continuously explores solutions that further improve operational efficiency, including automated reporting, research, and forecasting. Families’ expectations are also changing. Sustainable and impact investing continues to grow, particularly among next-generation family members focused on long-term legacy. At the same time, family offices face increasing pressure to manage costs and drive efficiency, leading many to outsource functions to providers capable of delivering integrated, end-to-end services. Cybersecurity also continues to emerge as a critical and increasingly sophisticated threat. Recent high-profile breaches have underscored the substantial disruption and financial consequences associated with cyberattacks, leading an increasing number of industry firms, ourselves included, to strengthen their security infrastructure. How do you identify and develop future leaders within your organisation? With ambitious growth plans, evidenced by our investment in strengthening our Executive Leadership Team throughout 2025, career development and succession planning are a critical element of our strategy. We identify emerging leaders through systematic progress monitoring, collaborative career mapping, and, when appropriate, consolidated client feedback. This leads to a tailored appraisal process incorporating values-based criteria and resulting in a personalised development plan that reflects each colleague’s career aspirations. Emerging leaders are increasingly given ownership of client relationships or other departmental initiatives, supported by senior mentors providing guidance and accountability. Regular talent reviews ensure transparency of process, while our culture of service and technical excellence empower individuals at all levels to grow, contribute, and prepare for leadership roles.

Delivering Excellence in a Changing Wealth Management Landscape Guillaume Staal - Partner Craig Swart - Partner Dickinson Gleeson

Winner • Legal Advice

What are the key challenges you foresee in wealth management over the next five years and how are you positioning your business to meet them? Based on current indications and prevailing sentiment, plus the rising expectation of more aggressive taxation of wealth especially among western nations, we expect to see substantial industry change. This may include further acceleration of regulatory change and be influenced by increased technological disruption. We expect clients’ key demands to include greater transparency, more sophisticated cross-border expertise, and strong cybersecurity measures, all of which are encompassed in our strategic planning. As next-gen clients begin taking on more substantive decision-making roles we anticipate growing demand for legal advice on generational wealth transfer and sustainable investment. We are meeting these challenges by enhancing our specialist expertise and international capabilities and leveraging legal technology to improve efficiency and insight. How do you cultivate a culture that consistently drives excellence and high performance? In our highly competitive industry, excellence and high-performance are indivisible from success. Upon founding our firm 15 years ago, we openly published the principles and standards by which we were happy to be judged by our clients and partners, centred around the provision of pragmatic, commercially minded legal advice of the highest calibre, delivered at competitive rates. To ensure we consistently deliver this commitment we operate both a strongly values-aligned recruitment process and an ongoing programme of training, development and mentorship. This enables all colleagues not only to receive regular and targeted sup-

port and qualitative feedback, but also benefit from the real-world experience of more senior practitioners What does winning this award mean to your firm, and how will you use this recognition going forward? While industry recognition is always appreciated, our primary focus remains the satisfaction of our clients, and the outcomes we deliver on their behalf. However, winning this award would represent a meaningful endorsement of our efforts and the professional and personal standards we uphold. Such recognition would motivate our team to continue striving for excellence, reinforce our reputation as an employer of choice for top legal talent, and strengthen client confidence in our work. It would also support deeper engagement within the legal and business communities, enabling us to continue delivering accessible, impactful legal support. Where do you draw inspiration for innovation – within the wealth industry or beyond it? Innovation and creative problem solving have always been important features of our work. We have gained a strong reputation for devising imaginative and impactful strategies in highly complex, high value matters. Our inspiration for innovation is drawn from both within the industry and from visionary firms and clients in adjacent and non-adjacent sectors. Tracking emerging client expectations, evolving regulations and shifts in best-practice is critical in ensuring our value proposition remains competitive, forward-looking and resilient. We also look beyond our industry for new ideas, to dynamic, fast-paced sectors such as technology, design, and digital-first business where user experience is a critical differentiator.

EWG’s Innovation-Driven Culture Sets New Standards in Client Experience and Global FinTech Leadership Alan Yates Founder Director EWG

Winner • Front Office • Onboarding • KYC

What has been the most impactful innovation your firm introduced recently, and how has it shaped client outcomes or internal efficiency? EWG introduced a visual structure tool inside our automated client onboarding process. The SaaS (Software as a Service) solution was so successful with our clients that EWG launched it globally as a separate SaaS product called Structuriser, which was unveiled at the Corporate Registers Forum in Tunisia in October. Can you share a story that best illustrates your team’s commitment to client service or problem-solving? EWG represented our sector in the recent MONEYVAL assessment. It was a huge positive for EWG, as it forces you to look inward at the business, your client services and the wider sector. There may have been some pre-prescribed perceptions about the Jersey financial services industry, but when EWG showed the assessors what we do and how well we do it, it clearly demonstrated our high levels of professionalism and provided the assurances and comfort they needed, which was great for Jersey Plc. What role has collaboration, either internally or with external partners, played in your success? We often put ourselves in the shoes of our clients and continue to challenge ourselves at the level of services we provide. Every conversation we have with a client is part of that partnership, because we need to understand what pain points they may be suffering so we can then provide the technology innovation that adds true

value and makes the client experience seamless and enjoyable. That includes the way we interact with our regulator, partner banks and our own service partners. It’s about how we can improve our services to help and add further value to Jersey Plc. What are the key challenges you foresee in wealth management over the next five years… The rapid developments in AI and IT technology that are impacting the global wealth management industry. …and how are you positioning your business to meet them? In most debates about AI, there will always be a little too much hype. EWG will adopt a hybrid model because we see AI and humans working together much more efficiently, rather than AI going it alone. AI will play a key role and will take care of some of the more mundane heavy lifting, saving time, costs and human resource, especially for repetitive tasks. What does winning this award mean to your firm, and how will you use this recognition going forward? Firstly and foremost, we would just like to pass on our congratulations to all of the nominees. This is EWG’s first award, so we are absolutely thrilled and totally humbled to be recognised at such a prestigious event. EWG is honoured, especially being amongst our wealth management peers, and we will certainly enjoy this moment, taking inspiration for future success.

HIGHVERN’s Strategic Expansion and People-First Culture Power its Next Phase of Excellence

H

Aidan O’Flanagan Head of Funds – Offshore HIGHVERN

Winner • Trust Company Fund Administration Service

IGHVERN is an award-winning provider of Private Capital, Fund and Corporate Administration services. Following a long-term investment by family capital, we joined forces with Permian in mid-2025, a leading Nordic fund services provider. This strategic combination significantly expanded our European footprint, and the group now comprises more than 300 professionals across eight jurisdictions: the Cayman Islands, Guernsey, Ireland, Jersey, Norway, South Africa, Sweden and the UK. Our Funds business delivers comprehensive, value-added support to asset operators, spinouts, emerging managers and established fund managers. We specialise across Venture Capital, Real Estate, Debt, Alternative Assets, Litigation Funding and Private Equity. By streamlining processes, enhancing operational efficiency and reducing duplication, we enable clients to focus on investment performance and their core business priorities. How do you cultivate a culture that consistently drives excellence and high performance? At HIGHVERN, our culture is built on the principle that people drive performance. We view our staff as our most valuable resource, and investing in them is central to our success. Every manager and above is required to hold a professional qualification, and we actively support all employees in pursuing these credentials. Beyond qualifications, we focus on building a sustainable environment for high performance. Our staff retention rate of over 96% since inception, together with a 35% increase in headcount in 2024, reflects the strength of this culture and our ability to maintain service quality as demand grows. This approach is validated by client feedback, including VC Fund Founder & Managing Partner who described our team as “safe pairs of hands – meticulous and detail-oriented.”

What role has collaboration – either internally or with external partners – played in your success? At HIGHVERN, collaboration is a philosophy that defines how we work. We view every engagement as a true partnership with our clients and their teams. From the earliest stages, we invest time to understand their strategy, operational preferences, and how they want to work with us. This regular, open dialogue ensures alignment and builds trust before onboarding even begins. Once the foundation is set, we work closely with onshore and offshore legal counsel to manage fund launch, coordinating structuring, documentation, approvals, and investor onboarding. By blending legal expertise with our workflows and maintaining clear communication, we deliver a seamless experience. The impact of this collaborative approach is clear, 100% of or new clients come from organic growth, and existing client referrals to new clients stands at 35% each year for the past 5 years. What does winning this award mean to your firm, and how will you use this recognition going forward? Winning this WealthBriefing award is more than recognition, it’s a validation of HIGHVERN’S commitment to excellence, innovation, and client-first service. It reflects the dedication of our people and the trust our clients place in us. For us, this accolade is a benchmark that inspires us to keep raising the bar. Looking ahead, this achievement motivates us to invest further in technology, automation, and people development, ensuring we remain agile and responsive to evolving client needs.

HSBC’s Global Solutions for Global Families Winner • Overall Trust Company with AuA over £5 Billion

HSBC Trustee Limited

H

SBC Trustee in Jersey has a long history of partnering with global families to preserve their wealth and legacy across generations. With over USD 100 billion of assets under administration, HSBC is one of the largest private client trustee businesses in the Channel Islands. We focus on providing holistic solutions for HSBC Global Private Banking clients in the Middle East, Asia and the UK. What role has collaboration – either internally or with external partners – played in your success?

Collaboration, both internally and with external partners, is fundamental to the success of HSBC Trust, primarily because the role of Trustee demands a diverse set of expertise beyond that of any individual. Internally we rely on the specialist knowledge of our Legal and Compliance, Investment, Finance, Operations and Relationship Management teams. Externally, partners with specialised insights and resources enhance our effectiveness, such as legal counsel, tax, accounting, audit and, importantly, transparent and collaborative relationships with regulators are vital for our ongoing success. In essence, the role of Trustee is a collective endeavour. It is the mechanism for pooling diverse skill sets to result in better informed decisions, more effective risk management and most importantly, better outcomes for clients. What are the key challenges you foresee in wealth management over the next five years, and how are you positioning your business to meet them? Our clients require simple and effective solutions to complex legal, regulatory and tax landscapes that are constantly evolving. We deliver wealth structuring solutions that align with our client’s needs and values and meet all requirements, through leveraging expertise in various regions and market sectors. As an example, we expect changes in how clients invest and what type of investments they make which means we must reskill our teams to get ahead of

the competition on emerging technologies such as blockchain for faster secure transaction processes and how to value, invest and manage tokenised assets. These are in the majority, currently not fully recognised or utilised and therefore regulated, but we cannot wait until they are, as our clients expect us to be ready when they themselves switch. Where do you draw inspiration for innovation – within the wealth industry or beyond it? Innovation is inspired both within the wealth industry and beyond it. Within HSBC, fintech advancements and digital-first initiatives in areas such as trade finance and bond issuance inform our approach. Externally, sectors such as logistics, supply chain management and healthcare offer valuable lessons in transparency, efficiency, data analytics and risk modelling. The continued evolution of AI is also enhancing efficiency, reducing costs and improving how we engage with clients. At HSBC Trustee, we are actively researching and developing technologies that will support future growth and allow us to serve clients more efficiently. Commenting on the firm’s triumph, Senior Management at HSBC Trustee said:

"To be recognised for this award for the second year running highlights HSBC Trustee (C.I.) Limited’s leadership in wealth management for families and our dedication to building lasting relationships. It is testament to the expertise, integrity, and client-focused approach of our team, who consistently go above and beyond to support our clients’ long-term goals.”

How Landytech is Driving Excellence in Accounting and Reporting for Trust Companies Winner • Client Reporting • Client Accounting

Benjamin Mouté - CEO and Founder Landytech

B

enjamin Mouté, CEO and Founder of Landytech, explains how collaboration, innovation and a culture of continuous improvement are reshaping accounting and reporting for the trust sector. Through direct integrations with leading administration systems and a commitment to straight through processing, Landytech is helping fiduciary firms overcome rising complexity, talent shortages and increasing client expectations. Powered by Sesame Data, Landytech’s API solution, trust companies gain a single source of clean and standardised and data that can be posted automatically into their systems. This allows to streamline operations, reduce manual workloads and deliver timely, insight-rich reporting, strengthening their role as trusted advisors. What role has collaboration, either internally or with external partners, played in your success? Collaboration is central to Landytech’s success. Internally, we operate a continuous feedback loop between product, client success and industry specialists to stay ahead of emerging challenges and ensure our technology directly addresses the pain points fiduciary firms face. Externally, we have built deep partnerships with Quantios and PlainSail, enabling direct integrations into leading trust administration systems. These collaborations are essential to accelerating bookkeeping automation and ensuring clients can realise efficiency gains as quickly as possible. What are the key challenges you foresee in wealth management over the next five years, and how are you positioning your business to meet them? Over the next five years, wealth management will grapple with several structural pressures: rising client expectations, increasingly complex portfolios, talent shortages in specialist functions such as bookkeeping, and shrinking margins that demand operational efficiency. Landytech is positioning its clients to thrive in

this environment by delivering true straight-through transaction processing. By sourcing data daily from multiple custodians, cleansing and standardising it, and posting transactions automatically into administration systems, fiduciary firms reduce manual workload, minimise costly write offs and futureproof their operating models. Reporting expectations are also being transformed. UHNW families, and increasingly their digital native next generation, expect real time visibility and seamless access to information. Trust companies looking to strengthen their position as strategic advisors need on-demand data, not reports that are 6 to 8 weeks out of date. Landytech empowers fiduciaries to deliver timely, intuitive reporting that supports more meaningful, insight driven conversations with clients. With fresh data at their fingertips, trust companies can move beyond administrative interactions to become the go to advisor for wealth owners. How do you cultivate a culture that consistently drives excellence and high performance? Landytech’s culture is built on accountability, open communication, curiosity and a genuine passion for solving complex challenges. These principles guide how we build technology, collaborate internally and partner with clients. We prioritise delivering meaningful outcomes, rapid iteration, and empowering teams to challenge assumptions and reimagine workflows. Transparency ensures challenges are surfaced early and solved collectively, while recognition of impact encourages innovation at every level. It's this culture of trust, ambition and shared purpose that enables us to consistently raise the bar, both in the products we build and in the value we deliver to trust companies.

Winner • Overall Investment Manager with AuM up to £2 Billion • Newcomer

O

akglen Wealth won the categories of 'Overall Investment Manager with AuM up to £2 Billion' and 'Best Newcomer', following its recent expansion into financial planning, in the WealthBriefing Channel Islands 2025 Awards. The group provides tailored investment solutions and comprehensive wealth planning services for private clients whether they are families, corporates, charities or trusts. Based in Jersey, the business expanded into the UK in 2023 and is part of the wider Oakglen Group. What has been the most impactful innovation your firm introduced recently, and how has it shaped client outcomes or internal efficiency? Investment management is at the heart of our offering and always will be. The introduction of Oakglen Wealth Planning strengthens that by allowing us to support clients more holistically. Many clients want a clear link between their investment strategy and the financial decisions that surround it, such as tax planning, structuring, and wider long-term goals. By providing wealth planning expertise within the same group, we can deliver more cohesive guidance while ensuring that investment management remains the central pillar. Can you share a story that best illustrates your team’s commitment to client service or problem-solving? From the outset, we built our investment services around clarity, discipline, and genuine partnership with our clients. Our investment team focuses on long-term, risk aware portfolio construction with an emphasis on quality assets and rigorous research. We are deliberate about what we hold, rather than following

others, and implement changes with conviction. Performance is one part of the story, but consistency and transparency are just as important. What are the key challenges you foresee in wealth management over the next five years, and how are you positioning your business to meet them? Markets will remain unpredictable, regulation will continue to mature, and client expectations around communication and transparency will grow. Growth for us is about depth as much as scale. We are focused on expanding our capabilities, continuing to invest in our people, and strengthening the infrastructure that supports both them and our clients. Our sector continues to evolve, often with disruption to employees and clients. We intend to remain an independent firm that combines strong technical expertise with a personal, attentive style. What does winning these awards mean to your firm, and how will you use this recognition going forward? These awards represent a proud moment for everyone at Oakglen Wealth. Being recognised as the 'Overall Investment Manager with AuM up to £2 Billion' is the result of consistent hard work over nearly a decade and reflects both the strength of our investment philosophy and the trust our clients place in us. Equally the title of 'Best Newcomer' is significant as it acknowledges the momentum behind our successful launch into the wealth planning space. Both awards underline the progress we have made and the direction we are committed to taking.

Where Collaboration Meets Client-Driven Innovation Winner • Platform Provider

PlainSail

How do you cultivate a culture that consistently drives excellence and high performance? We keep things simple: every decision starts with the question, “Does this benefit our clients?” That principle keeps us focused and honest. We hire people who are not only skilled but curious and committed to doing things better. Because we’re a small team, everyone has a real impact, and collaboration is part of daily life. We listen to client feedback and turn it into practical improvements. There’s no room for ego - just a shared goal of making the product as useful and reliable as possible. Can you share a story that best illustrates your team’s commitment to client service or problem-solving? A strong illustration of our commitment to client service is how we approach development requests that could otherwise be positioned as chargeable professional services. Rather than defaulting to bespoke or billable work, we step back and assess whether a solution can be incorporated into the core Product to benefit all clients. This approach has led to enhancements in workflows, reporting, and automation that solve real problems at scale, while maintaining fair and transparent pricing. Clients have described PlainSail as “a breath of fresh air,” noting not only the intuitive design but also how quickly new staff can become confident users - often within an hour - reflecting the care and thought invested in problem-solving from both a technical and human perspective. What role has collaboration - either internally or with external partners - played in your success? Collaboration is central to PlainSail’s success. Internally, our agile, highly skilled team works closely across development, client support, and strategy, ensuring ideas move quickly from concept to delivery. Externally, we collaborate with trusted integration partners such as to deliver genuine operational value without locking clients into exclusive arrangements. We also work closely with clients themselves, openly debating ideas and shaping enhancements based on real-world use cases.

What are the key challenges you foresee in wealth management over the next five years, and how are you positioning your business to meet them? The main challenges faced by our clients continue to focus around regulatory complexity, rising operational costs, and growing expectations for automation whilst not losing personalised service. Over the next five years, firms will need technology that improves efficiency without adding complexity or disproportionate cost. PlainSail is positioning itself to meet these challenges through scalable automation, AI-driven tools, and core integrations that benefit all clients rather than bespoke solutions for a few. By staying closely attuned to regulatory change, investing in intuitive design, and maintaining fair pricing, we aim to help clients remain compliant, agile, and competitive in a rapidly transforming industry. We really are focusing on working smarter. How do you identify and develop future leaders within your organisation? We have a very flat structure within the organisation, with all members of the team being senior and highly experienced with skills that complement each other and by way of extension, the product as a whole. Our collaborative nature helps with internal development but we focus on identifying the right people for PlainSail when recruiting. What does winning this award mean to your firm, and how will you use this recognition going forward? Winning this award is a powerful validation of the hard work, integrity, and client-focused approach that defines PlainSail. It reflects not only our team’s dedication but also the trust our clients place in us as a core Product partner. Recognition like this helps to further strengthen our reputation within the TCSP and wealth management community, outside of our client base, and hopefully attract like-minded clients and talent, whilst reinforcing our commitment to continuous improvement.

A Game-Changing AI Solution For Corporate, Trust and Fund Services Providers Adrian Akers Chief Product Officer Quantios

Winner • AI Solution

Q

uantios is a global provider of SaaS and AI solutions to the corporate, trust and fund services (TCSP) industry. We offer corporate, trust and fund services providers the most functionally rich, scalable and secure front-to-back-office platform for entity management, client accounting, regulatory compliance, digital end-client engagement and practice management. Our technology ensures seamless global compliance and streamlined administration, empowering our customers to focus on expanding their operations without the complexities typically involved, allowing them to realise the full benefits to margins, profitability and enterprise value that digitalisation and automation bring. What has been the most impactful innovation your firm introduced recently, and how has it shaped client outcomes? The most impactful innovation we have launched recently is Quantios AI, which offers corporate, trust and fund services providers a game-changing solution to unlock new opportunities through AI-driven efficiency, scalability and automation. Launched in February last year, Quantios AI is specifically designed for corporate, trust and fund services providers and is fully incorporated within Quantios Core and uses live system data from the central book of record. With a focus on driving significant productivity gains, Quantios AI is designed to cut costs by automating tasks and freeing up staff resources to focus on revenue-generating activities, by leveraging AI to uncover hidden insights, spot new opportunities and streamline workflows. Like many firms, corporate, trust and fund services providers are already using out-of-the-box AI solutions such as ChatGPT by copying information out of their systems into this third-party AI. This carries inherent security risks for providers as it is effectively transferring sensitive data outside of the organisation with limited control.

Quantios AI solves these risks by using data directly from within the Quantios Core system, ensuring security by eliminating the need to export data, combined with industry-specific tailoring to ensure providers, no matter what their size, can implement industry best practice. Where do you draw inspiration for innovation – within the wealth industry or beyond it? We get a lot of ideas from our customers, who provide us with ongoing feedback through our Product Hub Ideas portal and during the Product Advisory Group meetings we run around the globe each year. Feedback from our customers shows that firms are spending considerable amounts of time summarising records for clients, creating minutes and transcripts of client meetings, searching for and analysing data, and conducting risk management assessments. Quantios AI is designed to meet these challenges by creating AI-generated summaries of complex data and records into natural language, saving significant hours of manual review, providing clear insights and outputs, and reliable risk insights and actions. Semantic search and data analysis can be conducted via natural language to provide instant answers to questions and analysis of large datasets within seconds. Firms can now also generate reports, commentary, standardised checklists or form content based on industry best practice, freeing up staff from tedious and costly administrative functions such as report writing and task planning. The roadmap for the future development of Quantios AI will be agentic, where the AI has the ability to execute processes end-to-end and automatically across key processes. With these developments, we believe Quantios AI marks another significant leap forward in helping providers reap the benefits of improved efficiencies and reduced costs that AI can bring.

Shaping the future of Wealth Management What has been the most impactful innovation your firm introduced recently, and how has it shaped client outcomes or internal efficiency? At Rathbones, innovation is always purposeful. Our most impactful recent developments have been the launch of our International Liquidity Solution for clients and the RIMI Private Office. These initiatives were designed in direct response to evolving client needs - providing bespoke, cross-border liquidity management and concierge-style wealth management experience for ultra-high-net-worth clients. Alongside this, our investment in digital transformation, including our evolving Client Lifecycle Management system and the MyRathbones client portal, streamlined onboarding, improved transparency, and empowered clients to engage more flexibly. As a result, we’ve seen client satisfaction scores rise and operational efficiency improve, allowing our teams to focus even more on delivering tailored advice and solutions. Can you share a story that best illustrates your team’s commitment to client service or problem-solving? One example that stands out is how our team responded to a client with complex, crossjurisdictional liquidity needs on a ‘best of Rathbones’ basis. Recognising the urgency and sophistication of the challenge, we quickly assembled specialists from across the business to design a tailored solution. This approach not only resolved the immediate issue, but also delivered long-term flexibility and peace of mind. Our collaborative, client-first mindset is reflected in colleagues like Max Rogers and Joe Peacock, whose proactive, hands-on style and ability to build trust through responsiveness and clear communication consistently set the standard for exceptional service. What role has collaboration – either internally or with external partners – played in your success?

Jonathan Giles Managing Director Rathbones Investment Management International (RIMI)

Collaboration is at the heart of everything we do as we deliver a ‘best of Rathbones’ approach. Internally, our teams work seamlessly across functions and geographies, sharing insights, best practices, and innovative ideas to deliver exceptional outcomes. This cross-functional approach ensures we leverage expertise and maintain agility in a fast-changing environment. Externally, we partner with leading institutions and community organisations, strengthening our capabilities and expanding our impact. In particular, and through our recent combination, we have established a strategic partnership with Investec Bank as we believe our services compliment and provide a greater benefit to our clients. These relationships allow us to combine global knowledge with local understanding, creating holistic solutions for clients. This spirit of partnership - both inside and outside the organisation - has been instrumental in driving success and sustaining long-term growth. How do you identify and develop future leaders within your organisation? We believe in nurturing talent from within and identifying potential leaders based on more than technical expertise. Curiosity, integrity, and ability to inspire others are qualities we value highly. To support growth, we provide opportunities through committee involvement, mentoring programmes, and challenging assignments that stretch capabilities. This approach ensures individuals gain exposure to strategic decision-making and leadership responsibilities early in their careers. The achievements of Max Rogers and Joe Peacock amongst others exemplify this philosophy - both have embraced strategic roles and made meaningful contributions to our culture and client outcomes, demonstrating the impact of investing in leadership development.

Standard Chartered: Building a Future-Ready Workforce and Elevating Excellence in Wealth Management Henry Baye - Chief Executive Officer, Jersey Funmi Oniyitan - Country Head, Financial Crime Compliance Shane Cardy - Senior Manager, Retail Lending Portfolio Management Standard Chartered

Winner • Private Bank Employer of the Year • Private Bank Corporate Social Responsibility Initiative

How do you cultivate a culture that consistently drives excellence and high performance? Continuous learning is at the heart of our high-performance culture. As we transition toward becoming a skills-based organisation, we recognise that the skill sets required for the future of wealth management are being disrupted massively. To remain competitive and drive sustainable growth, we must continually build the capabilities that keep us relevant and adaptable. We have prioritised five critical skills that underpin both our transformation and our peoples career growth: Leadership, Global Business Perspective, Problem Solving, Resilience and Adaptability, and Human & AI Collaboration. To help colleagues flex new skills in different areas of the Bank, we operate an AI-enabled platform called Talent Marketplace. This system connects employees’ skills, experience and aspirations with development opportunities—ranging from short-term project “gigs” and jobs – not just in Jersey, but globally. We have also made sure that our culture allows an environment to exchange feedback, either verbally or via a Bank internal tool called Feedback365. High-performing teams exchange feedback constantly – it’s non-negotiable to truly understand how we are doing, how we can improve, and what we need to do to succeed. What are the key challenges you foresee in wealth management over the next five years, and how are you positioning your business to meet them? Meeting future challenges requires a clear strategy and a deep understanding of our clients’. Client relationships sit at the core of

everything we do. As a leading wealth manager for affluent clients across Europe, Africa, Asia and the Middle East, we offer Priority Banking to individuals with over US$100,000 to invest. Standard Chartered has been part of Jersey’s financial landscape for more than 45 years and serves as one of our four international banking hubs. We tailor offshore banking and wealth solutions to help clients prosper at home and internationally - whether they are looking to grow their wealth, protect it or ensure the smooth transition to future generations. The big transfer is happening, and wealth migration is happening too. Whilst this poses a challenge for others, being able to position ourselves in various corridors, and arm ourselves with the tools to be there for our clients at this critical time, in global wealth is one we consider a key strength. What does winning this award mean to your firm, and how will you use this recognition going forward? Without doubt, our people are our biggest strength. These two awards are their award and I’m proud of what they have achieved. It never ceases to amaze me the lengths the team go to get a job done. We’re very proud and humbled to win both 'Private Bank Employer of the Year' and 'Private Bank Corporate Social Responsibility Initiative' for another consecutive year. They are both very competitive categories with strong contenders, and we’d like to thank WealthBriefing for the recognition. It is an opportunity for the team to celebrate their success, however, ultimately, we’ll continue doing what we do best which is providing the best service to our clients.

Whether a family’s wealth is new or long-standing, situations always arise where they benefit from the support of our practical wisdom and experience. At the same time, we remain committed to empowering and educating the next generation of these client families. This year, we relaunched our in-person Next Generation Course and introduced Future Focus workshops, designed to equip rising leaders with essential skills in leadership, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship. These initiatives strengthen our holistic approach to family office services, integrating capital growth with education and governance. By prioritising long-term family sustainability, we deliver benefits that extend beyond financial returns, creating a comprehensive framework for enduring success. How do you cultivate a culture that consistently drives excellence and high performance? We have an entrepreneurial culture built on deep client centricity, collaboration, respect, continuous learning, and shared purpose. We cultivate an environment where excellence is not merely expected but actively empowered. What role has collaboration – either internally or with external partners – played in your success? UBS: Innovating Wealth Management Through Digital Personalisation and a People-First Culture What has been the most impactful innovation your firm introduced recently, and how has it shaped client outcomes or internal efficiency? Launched in Switzerland as a pilot in 2019 and made available in the UK and Channel Islands in 2023, UBS My Way is a state-ofthe-art digital portfolio management tool that allows us to spend more time with clients and better evaluate the full scope of their financial lives. It enhances the value of the human relationship and offers clients a discretionary mandate experience that allows them to personalise their portfolios beyond traditional mandates, providing transparency and performance insights.

Tobias Wehrli Country Head Jersey UBS Global Wealth Management, UK and Channel Islands

The platform has become a defining feature of the UBS experience, deepening relationships, improving satisfaction, and differentiating us in a competitive market. In the last year, we’ve expanded it, further increasing client options and improving advisor efficiency. This is reflected in the demand with clients, and our commitment to innovation ensures that UBS My Way remains at the forefront of digital wealth management. How do you cultivate a culture that consistently drives excellence and high performers?

Winner • Innovative use of Technology

At UBS, people and relationships have been at our core for 160 years. We invest in development, international mobility and progression to help employees build longterm careers, supported by a strong focus on wellbeing through flexible working, family leave and assistance. Our commitment extends to the community and future talent. We sponsor local initiatives that showcase Jersey internationally, such as the Supertri League, and

partner with charities like Beresford Street Kitchen and Jersey Employment Trust. Colleagues regularly volunteer through beach clean-ups, bake sales and hands-on support, strengthening team cohesion and our connection to the island. We nurture future talent through internships, apprenticeships, Graduate Training programs, part-time roles and targeted outreach. As a member of the Jersey Bankers Association, we engage early-career professionals and encourage local talent return after studying elsewhere. Our Career Comeback programme also supports professionals re-entering corporate roles, bringing valuable experience and perspective. This mix of opportunity, support and community engagement attracts, and retains high performers. What are the key challenges you foresee in wealth management over the next five years, and how are you positioning your business to meet them? The Great Wealth Transfer is accelerating. By 2040, around USD 6.9 trillion will pass to the next generation and reshape the wealth management industry. These inheritors bring new values, preferences, and risk appetites, demanding an industry that adapts fast. Women are at the forefront: they already hold over a third of global investable wealth, and in the next 20 years, they’re expected to inherit more than half of what changes hands. Engaging and empowering women now is critical to helping them take control of their financial future. Starting conversations early with wealth creators and inheritors allows us to guide clients through their journey on their terms. With initiatives for the next generation and women investors, as well as innovative digital tools, we’re well-positioned to meet clients where they are.
