CULTURE/TRAVEL GUIDE PROJECT INSTRUCTIONS: GRADES 4-12 Updated July 2026
What Is this Project? The Culture/Travel Guide Project is an interactive research and presentation experience. Students become “living exhibits” by researching a country, culture, or significant location and presenting their findings as a travel guide or cultural ambassador. During the event, students will stand at assigned stations and present live, short speeches to rotating visitors (students, staff, and families), answering questions and sharing insights about their chosen location. This project combines research, writing, creativity, and public speaking while building global awareness.

Conduct focused research using multiple sources Organize information into clear, engaging presentations Develop public speaking and audience engagement skills Demonstrate cultural understanding and respect Apply creativity through visuals, props, and optional costumes
