WELCOME TO AROUND THE GROUNDS It has been amazing to see so many MLC girls being involved in weekly sport during Term 3!

This week has seen the final round of fixtured matches take place as well as the Senior Water Polo Finals (read more about these superstars on the next page!)

MLC have also recently competed in other GSV sporting events - the AFL Victoria Herald Sun shield semifinals and the GSV Athletics Division 1 Championships! It has been an exciting few weeks of GSV Sport and.... its GSV FINALS next week!

GSV FINALS Congratulations to all teams for a successful season!

The below teams have qualified to play in the GSV Finals next week. You will receive more detailed information from your individual coaches in your teams chats, but see the summary of where and when our Amazing MLC teams will be competing!

GOOD LUCK EVERYONE! Senor Finals - Monday 8th September Senior Soccer (A) - Darebin International Sports Centre 12pm to 5.30pm Senior Badminton (A&B) - MSAC 11.30am to 4pm Senior Indoor Cricket (A) - Box Hill Indoor Sports Centre 1pm to 5pm Intermediate Finals - Wednesday 10th September Inter Badminton (ABCDDEF) - MSAC 9am to 5.30pm (departure time is team dependent) Inter Indoor Cricket (A) - Box Hill Indoor Sports Centre 11.30am to 4pm Junior Finals - Thursday 11th September Junior Badminton (tbc) - MSAC 9am to 5.30pm (departure time is team dependent) As soon as we have confirmation from GSV we will contact the Badminton teams playing.

Junior Indoor Cricket (A&B) - Box Hill Indoor Sports Centre 11.30am to 4pm

TERM 4 TRIALS - DON’T FORGET! TERM 4 TRIALS START MONDAY! See the table below for the full schedule of trials that will be running over the next 2 weeks.

It is super important that you attend your trial so the coaches can allocate you to an appropriate team for Term 4.

Be sure to correspond with us ASAP if you are sick, away or cannot make a trial. You will not be placed in a team if you do not trial. Thank you to those students that have been proactive in doing this already.

RESULTS You can check out the results and full fixtures for your team on the GSV website: https://www.gsv.vic.edu.au/weekly-sports/ Once on the site be sure to filter to Term 3 2025 and your sport/grade/team!

MLC SPORTING SUCCESS! As mentioned earlier in the newsletter, MLC has had a big few weeks of Interschool Sport!

Time to celebrate these achievements! (and I’m sure we will have more to celebrate next week!)
