The Lion King JR. brings the African savannah to life in a vibrant, heartfelt retelling of Simba’s journey from playful cub to rightful king. Filled with unforgettable songs, dynamic characters, and powerful themes of identity, responsibility, and belonging, this production celebrates the circle of life and the courage it takes to find your place within it. Our talented cast have worked hard to capture the energy, humour, and emotion of this much-loved story, inviting you to journey with them to the Pride Lands.
This production has been a true team effort, and we are incredibly proud of the collaboration and commitment shown by everyone involved. From performers and stage crew to staff and supporters, each person has played an important role in bringing the show together. We would like to extend a special thank you to Leila Hoch for her time and expertise in choreography and inspiring the girls through dance and characterisation. We are most grateful to Aldwickbury School for their generous loaning of costume pieces. Most of all, our wonderful students have demonstrated resilience, creativity, and teamwork throughout the process. Their enthusiasm and willingness to support one another have made rehearsals a joy, and their hard work shines through in every moment you see on stage tonight.
