THE
HOUSE OF CIPRIANI
Ninety-five years and four generations of impeccable hospitality, Italian cuisine and unparalleled service, unfold as a luxury lifestyle brand.
BORN OF HUMBLE GENEROSITY In 1928, Giuseppe Cipriani Sr. was a barman at the Hotel Europa in Venice. Among his customers was Harry Pickering, a young American who had fallen on hard times and needed money to get home.
Giuseppe lent him 10,000 lire, and two years later, Harry Pickering returned to Venice to repay the loan. He not only gave back the 10,000 lire but added another 30,000 to help Giuseppe open a bar.

CASA CIPRIANI From the first days of Harry’s Bar in Venice, there was always a crowd of people from all walks of life, merrily sipping Bellinis, chatting, and living the good life. After the great success of Casa Cipriani New York, opened in the historic Battery Maritime Building, Casa Cipriani chose Milan as its first address in Europe. The fourth generation of the Italian family elevates the concept of private Club, creating a refined, eclectic, and naturally cosmopolitan environment, where members can move as hosts and not as guests. Its 15 luxury rooms are also open to non-members, who have access to all the facilities throughout the length of their stay.
