WELCOME TO AROUND THE GROUNDS GSV Sport went into overdrive this past week with the Preliminary A Track & Field Carnival taking place as well as all the regular weekly sports matches!

A HUGE congratulations to the MLC Athletics Team and coaches for a clean sweep of all the trophies at the event on Tuesday!

MLC were crowned: Junior Overall Champions Intermediate Overall Champions Senior Overall Champions, and Overall A Champions!

PRELIM A CHAMPIONS!

TERM 4 SIGN UPS! TERM 4 GSV SIGN UPS OPEN MONDAY 18th AUGUST Pre planning has already started for Term 4 GSV! As we need to submit teams to GSV in just a couple of weeks we need you all to sign up as soon as you can!

The cut of date is September 1st.

Term 4 sports on offer are: Basketball (JSS, MS and SS) Cricket (JSS and Y9-12) Water Polo (JSS) Touch Football - NEW GSV sport this year! (JSS, MS and SS)

A reminder that the SENIOR GSV season is a condensed one to allow it to be all completed by the end of October and prior to exam and end of year study commitments. There are matches twice a week on both the Monday and Wednesday for 3 weeks, finals take place on Oct 29th.

The JSS and MS seasons go for 6 weeks, beginning in Week 2 and finals scheduled for Week 8, Nov 25th, 26th and 27th.
