In 2025, Newfields will host the fifth annual Art in Bloom, featuring 55 incredible floral displays inspired by artworks in the IMA galleries. This four-day festival will run from Thursday, March 20 to Sunday, March 23, with a special event on Friday, March 21. There will be three ribbons awarded during the event for Excellence in Art, Excellence in Nature, and Crowd Favorite.
Guests will be wowed by 46 pedestal floral displays (small & striking), 8 showstopper displays (grand & impactful), and 1 extraordinary centerpiece display (unmissable visibility) during this year’s run. Just one day of this fan-favorite festival sees more visitors than a day of Winterlights!
This celebration is apart of a larger bloom-filled festival at Newfields called Spring Blooms, where The Garden bursts to life with carpets and canopies of fantastic floral abundance from Thursday, March 20 to Sunday, May 11.
Art in Bloom is featured at other museums across the country as well, including the Museum of Fine Art Boston, North Carolina Museum of Art, Saint Louis Art Museum, and San Diego Museum of Art. The renowned concept captures the perfect blend of art and nature, making it a beloved staple here at Newfields.
