Flexjet helicopters feature dual-redundancy safety measures on all critical lift elements as well as two fully-certified pilots per aircraft. Our Sikorsky S-76 fleet features a powerful twin-engine design with dual autopilot systems along with a four-blade rotor system for enhanced comfort and safety.

INSURANCE
Flexjet arranges for and obtains all-risk hull insurance and provides third-party passenger liability insurance in an amount not less than $200-million combined single-limit liability coverage.
PROVEN PILOTS
Flexjet helicopter pilots are held to the highest standards in aviation; often joining our team with backgrounds in military, logistical and even rescue ops. We empower our accomplished pilots to take full control of mission status based on weather conditions, logistical windows, or operational considerations. If their comfort and standards do not align with circumstances, we do not fly. Their expertise and experience, coupled with rigorous Flexjet safety standards and best practices give us full confidence in making your mission successful.
HELICOPTER PILOT QUALIFICATIONS
> Pilots in Command (PIC) have a minimum of 2,000 hours of helicopter PIC flight experience
> Second in Command (SIC) pilots have a minimum of 1,500 hours of helicopter flight experience
> Flexjet helicopter pilots have an average of 26 years of flight experience
> All pilots are IFR qualified and receive bi-annual checkrides
> Annual training at either CAE Simuflite or FlightSafety International
> Previous experience in Part 135/91 or corporate aircraft or military aircraft
> A current 1st Class Medical Certification
> For off-airport operations, specialized training is given as required
Pilots will not be assigned as Pilot in Command or Second in Command onboard any flight unless they have completed all required training programs within the previous twelve months, including a line check given by the FAA or a designated check pilot. Within ninety days of any assigned flight, Pilots in Command must also have performed a minimum of three take-offs and landings in the same aircraft category, class and type. Pilots who have not flown over a route and into an airport within ninety days of an assigned flight will, before beginning the flight, become familiar with all available information required for safe operation.

The S-76 also has a maximum range of 300 nautical miles, or about 2 hours and 30 minutes, opening plenty of travel possibilities.

As the first private jet operator in Europe to launch an in-house, integrated helicopter division, Flexjet’s helicopter operations are based out of London’s Farnborough Airport. Our luxury helicopter service provides last-mile transport for aircraft Owners of Flexjet aircraft traveling from airports to their final destinations, enabling them to avoid lengthy local traffic delays. It can also provide easy, comfortable access to additional regional locations, such as entertainment and sports venues, casinos, golf courses, spas and other destinations.
When you are looking to supplement your travel with our helicopter service, there are some basic things to understand from an operational logistics perspective.
> Are you in the New York City, Florida or London regions?
> What is your location? Estate, golf club, wedding venue, yacht harbor, etc …
> What time of day will you require service?
> Are you located near an FAA-certified helipad or airport/airfield?
Please keep in mind that areas can feature different fees, taxes and regulations on this travel. If your location does not meet remote landing zone standards, you will be asked to shift your departure or arrival points to the nearest professional facility.
Once you are firm on some of these general details, our aviation experts can assess the location and situational logistics and begin to plan your trip. When requesting a particular area for a remote landing zone, a few additional criteria must be met.
> At your requested site(s), is there a clear/flat 50 x 50 area to land? No hills, etc …
> Is there a clear 800 foot launch ceiling? Clear of branches, overhead lines, etc …
> Do you have affirmed permission to land a helicopter?
> What are the current or expected weather conditions? We implement strict go/no-go standards for inclement/IFR conditions.
> If the landing site is grass or leveled terrain, is it water-logged or muddy? Helicopters can only land or take off safely if your designated site is clear.
We may also ask that you send us photos and videos of the requested site for us to review. Once we receive these crucial details from you or your team, we can then begin to clear our mission with the requisite channels. We approve the mission timeframe, complete a detailed brief on your specific trip and its requirements — then run its parameters through our Baldwin Safety Systems software before finally being personally approved by our Safety Director.
HELICOPTER PROGRAMS
LEASE & HELICOPTER CARD
Our fractional program provides Flexjet aircraft Owners the experience of full aircraft ownership without the expense. Fractional ownership includes guaranteed availability with 24 hours’ notice and guarantees that a Sikorsky S-76 helicopter is provided for all trips, including simultaneous use for mass movements. Initial buy-in starts with a 1/16 th share in a helicopter and has a five-year term.
Fractional aircraft Owners are only charged for occupied flight time, which in turn fixes the expected costs between city pairs and provides pricing certainty. There is a 0.4-hour leg minimum for airport transfers from New York City’s three heliports to the surrounding airports, including Teterboro and White Plains, and a 0.5-hour leg minimum applied to all other flights. For all flights that are more than 0.5 hours, the charged flight time is based on the scheduling system’s estimated flight times for that city pair.
Fractional shares are sold in 1/16 th increments and each share provides the aircraft Owner with 25 hours of occupied flight time per year. All landing and other direct non-flight charges and Federal Excise Tax (F.E.T.) are assessed at cost.
JET OWNERSHIP ADD-ON
If you are already a fractional or lease private jet Owner at Flexjet, you may elect to further supplement your flying experience by adding on private helicopter fractional or lease ownership to your existing share. This program features a 24-hour call-out time and complimentary access for our Gulfstream G650 Owners.

ACCESS PROGRAMS
No other private jet provider can offer helicopter lease and card access options, along with a per-trip private helicopter charter program for select missions. These Flexjet programs offer benefits that truly encapsulate the Flexjet experience. Make your airport transfer or commute effortless by choosing one of our many premium private helicopter programs.
Flexjet private helicopter operations include oversight of flight crews, technicians, flight scheduling and maintenance tracking, billing, accounting and interfacing with the OEM. We also provide all safety, operational and scheduling infrastructure required for the safe operation of the helicopter.
Additionally, all existing Flexjet aircraft Owners receive complete hours transferability as well as a multi-share discount of 10%.
