It’s the first time anyone from a full service Spanish language broadcasting company has been nominated to the position in Nevada. NOTICIAS YA NoticiasYa debuted in its new domain (Noticiasya.com) in January 2017. Through research we realized we had a chance at becoming the destination for the type of news that Hispanics most appreciate: news with a human angle, hence its tagline “Lo que importa” (What matters) NoticiasYa’s success is the result of a relentless effort from digital teams in Mexico, Argentina and the US who are tightly aligned in a quest for a customer-centric content approach 24/7. NoticiasYa features three strategic subbrands (#Alrescate, Politica Para Mi and Preguntale al Experto) and is increasingly sought after by clients/ brands as a multi touch-point platform across its dotcom, social media, TV and radio. This September, for the first time ever, NoticiasYa broke the 1000000 video views mark.

SALES

SUCCESS STORIES ENTRAVISION’S PULPO DIGITAL TEAM HAD TWO BIG CLIENT WIN BACKS! P&G Bounty - Monica Lou relentlessly pursued this client and was able to secure a 4Q test. We expect great results from this initial campaign which will result in more P&G brands partnering with Pulpo. Sprint - After one year since the last campaign Sprint ran with Pulpo, it took someone who wouldn’t take “no” for an answer. Laura Willis, Pulpo’s Director of Sales- Eastern Region, was that person and secured a one-year commitment from Sprint.

IMSC HIGHLIGHT Cindyra Mayo-Rosales is in her third year as an IMSC for Entravision Los Angeles. Cindyra has grown her business during each of her three years in sales and is having her best year thus far in 2017! Cindyra exceeded her Overall (183%) and Digital (126%) budgets during the month of August. As of the end of August, Cindyra has also achieved 100% of her 2017 annual Overall Budget! Cindyra has accomplished these feats with a combination of hard work, creative marketing ideas and solutions, and a desire to go the extra mile for her clients. It is not unusual for Cindyra to work after hours during the week, spend quality time with clients during the evenings, and attend client remotes and station events on the weekends. Cindyra has truly engaged herself in being a complete IMSC and she continues to exceed her Broadcast, Event Marketing and Digital budgets on a monthly basis.

SUPPORTS HURRICANE HARVEY AND IRMA VICTIMS

In early September, both Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma caused catastrophic damage to parts of southeast Texas, the Caribbean and Florida. Several of our Entravision markets and employees in Harvey and Irma’s paths had to prepare the stations as well as their homes and families. We thank our staff for their help to secure the stations and the news teams for their continuous coverage of the hurricanes. We also commend employees that have volunteered to help hurricane victims that have been displaced from their homes and severely affected. Our hearts go out to those families and we wish them all the best through their recovery and rebuilding efforts.

TAMPA/ORLANDO The Entravision Tampa station prepared for Hurricane Irma from September 6th to the 8th. The entire staff helped prepare the station and work areas, installed hurricane shutters and picked up sandbags. The Tampa and Orlando news teams covered the hurricane despite the inclement wind, rain, flooding, and widespread power outage. Thank you Entravision Tampa and Orlando for your hard work!

LAREDO Entravision Laredo partnered with HEB, one of Texas’ popular supermarket chains, in an effort to bring relief to Hurricane Harvey victims. The goal was to encourage viewers to donate $1, $3, or $5 at any HEB register or heb.com. The Entravision Laredo news team was live at all HEB Laredo locations during its 5pm newscast. As of September 13th, more than $26,300 in aid was raised in Laredo alone! Click the link below to view video coverage and photos by the Laredo news team during of the campaign. Congratulations to Entravision Laredo for uniting the local community for such a wonderful cause! https://my.visme.co/projects/jwvvegmk-hebhurricane-harvey-relief-campaign-recap

SANTA MONICA Shortly after Hurricane Harvey destroyed parts of Houston, Jennifer Sandoval, HR & Payroll Generalist from Santa Monica, gathered personal hygiene essentials and flew down to Houston to donate these items to World Harvest Outreach Church located in Houston. She also volunteered with KIPP Pals: KIPP Houston Public Schools to open up pantries at their campuses across town to aid local community members affected by Hurricane Harvey with food, cleaning supplies, clothing, and personal items. Jennifer helped unload, sort, and pack the donations to be distributed to the local pantries. Jennifer’s commitment to helping the local Houston community is inspiring. Thank you Jennifer for sharing your story!

MCALLEN The Entravision McAllen newsroom received a call from a viewer offering a driver, gas, and one 18-wheeler to fill with water and food to help the Hurricane Harvey Victims. Utilizing all available platforms, Radio, TV, Digital, and Social Media, Entravision McAllen started a campaign which aired Thursday through Tuesday. The response from viewers was incredible and on Tuesday five trailers full of food, water, cleaning supplies and personal hygiene items were sent to Houston. Including one plane full of baby and adult diapers. McAllen’s SVP Angela Navarrete was very proud of her staff saying, “The best part of this wonderful experience was to see our own staff contributing by bringing donations, working under the South Texas heat during the Labor Day weekend with the Spirit that makes us McAllen Strong.” Check out the video below!

APPRECIATION LUNCHEONS

PULPO ARGENTINA

TAMPA

WASHINGTON, DC

In August, Pulpo Argentina held a series of internal training meetings lead by Matías Abuin, Programmatic Manager, regarding the subject of Programmatic. Matías explained how the media industry has been transformed by Programmatic and the significant role automated systems and technology platforms have in media investments. The training sessions concluded with different members of each team asking questions ranging from how their daily work routines impact or are impacted by Programmatic, to what other ways traditional buying differs from Programmatic buying. These sessions were a great benefit to the Pulpo teams to help them become acquainted with recent industry trends and future company plans in an environment encouraging open participation and dialogue.

Every Wednesday during the month of August, Entravision Tampa hosted “Ice Cream Wednesday” for their staff. It was a fun treat and great way to beat the summer heat.

Entravision Washington hosted a luncheon to celebrate Hispanic Heritage month, employee birthdays and work anniversaries!

Q3 2017

FEATURED REGIONAL EMPLOYEES OF THE QUARTER Entravision is pleased to announce the Featured Regional Employee of the Quarter program. This program is intended to recognize exceptional employee performance, leadership, achievements and outstanding efforts to achieve corporate and/or market goals. Every quarter, senior management will choose a regional winner from the nominations received. Winners will receive a $100.00 gift card. Please join us in congratulating your fellow Entravision colleagues who have been selected as the 2017 Q3 Featured Regional Employees of the Quarter. Read below for highlights of their work ethic and dedication.

WESTERN REGION: GISSELL HERNANDEZ, TRAFFIC COORDINATOR, LOS ANGELES Gissell is coming up on her four-year anniversary with Entravision and is currently the lead traffic coordinator for the Los Angeles market. Gissell is engaged on a daily basis with our 100 plus clients, ten IMSC’s, Programming Department, Promotions Department, Digital Media Department, Shared Services as well as all station management. Gissell oversees all aspects of our daily logs for our three FM Radio stations (commercials, integrated segments, half hour programs, etc.) and is the main resource for our staff for all Shared Services issues and training. Gissell was the primary point person for the development of our local and national Los Angeles sales staff’s ability to monetize our new KSSC-Ventura La Suavecita 107.1FM radio station. Without her presence, work ethic, and dedication, we would not have been able to successfully launch the station. Gissell is the consummate “Team Player,” always working with our sales staff and clients, accommodating requests and going above and beyond her normal responsibilities to ensure that station logs go out accurately and on time. Gissell has also been instrumental in adapting our traffic activities to our increasing Digital Media sales. The initiative she took to work with our sales support team and digital media operations teams has allowed Entravision Los Angeles to become the leading digital media revenue market for the entire company. Thank you Gissell for your exceptional work and leadership!

MOUNTAIN/WEST TEXAS REGION: LUIS LERMA, PROMOTIONS DIRECTOR, DENVER Luis Lerma, Promotions Director for Entravision Colorado, has been instrumental in managing and leading two very important initiatives. Luis has lead the charge to help our local program “Que Rollo” succeed in Denver. Luis has also been an important part of helping our other local radio shows launch in the Mountain region. Last but not least, Luis Lerma managed to put together, along with the help of his promotional team, the most successful Fiestas Patrias event ever. This year’s event went without a glitch, and we had over 100,000 attendees! Thank you, Luis, for your 15 years of dedicated service and contributions!

EASTERN & EAST/SOUTH TEXAS REGION: ANGEL M. COVARRUBIAS, NEWS DIRECTOR/ ANCHOR SOUTH TEXAS Angel M. Covarrubias has been with Entravision as a News Director/Anchor since September 26, 2016. He has shown outstanding leadership and tireless effort in providing South Texas (Corpus Christi, Laredo, McAllen) with informative and accurate news. Angel is a true example of what it means to go above and beyond the call of duty. In addition to his News Director role in McAllen, Angel has been deeply committed to and involved in the Corpus Christi & Laredo Newscasts. He recently took on the role of News Director in McAllen and oversees the FOX News South Texas newscast. He has offered support in multiple ways, from taking the time to talk to the sales teams in the South Texas markets about additional sales opportunities, to visiting other stations to create synergy and opportunity. He has recruited employees to assist in our Corpus Christi market, has visited the individual stations he oversees and has become a regular presence in the Corpus Christi building. Angel constantly strives to utilize every available platform in his efforts to provide a better news product. Due to these efforts, Angel has earned not only this recognition, but the utmost respect and immense gratitude from those he works and interacts with regularly. Everyone is beyond grateful to have Angel on their teams! Thanks for all you do Angel!

NATIONAL SALES: MARINO THEN, NATIONAL IMS ENTRAVISION SOLUTIONS, NEW YORK Marino celebrates 13 years of service with the company! He started with Lotus Entravision Reps (LER) as a front desk receptionist and earned the respect of management, our clients and agencies. In 2011, Entravision acquired LER and Marino joined what is now Entravision Solutions. Today, as a Senior Account Manager, Marino always represents our company in the highest standards and sets the example to all of us at Entravision. Thank you Marino for your years of service and hard work!

SHARED SERVICES: LIZA FERNS, SHARED SERVICES SPECIALIST MANAGER, PHOENIX Liza is a dedicated employee and has been with Entravision for 16 years. She enjoys working for the company and works hard to ensure that policy and procedures are followed to meet the success of the organization. Liza’s efforts and expertise in all aspects of traffic and billing contributes to the success of our markets. Liza leads the Shared Service team in the overall support for the company in addition to the trafficking of our hub traffic markets. She has overcome and adapted to the many challenges of our changing traffic systems. Over the years, she has embraced these changes and works diligently with the Shared Services team and our markets to get them up-to-speed on the ins and outs of the new systems. Liza’s problem solving and critical thinking skills are a valuable asset to Shared Services, the markets, and the whole company. She works well under pressure, a trait which is a necessity in the life of Traffic and Support which she enjoys.

PULPO LOCAL DIGITAL: MARIA MONTOYA, DIGITAL SALES MANAGER, LOS ANGELES Maria Montoya joined the Los Angeles local Pulpo digital team in May of this year. Maria’s client, LA Care, is Pulpo’s largest Los Angeles local client. This is an account that has been with Pulpo for two years. They chose Pulpo local to manage their anniversary campaign and it took dedication, passion, commitment, and lots of coffee from Maria to successfully reach the client’s goals. LA Care is happy and wants to review the 4Q enrollment campaign thanks to Maria and the Pulpo team servicing LA Care. Client delight!
