WELCOME TO AROUND THE GROUNDS This past week we saw Round 1 kick off, as well as Round 2 for the Senior teams, with great enthusiasm and excitement!

Well done to all students who have been selected in a team for Term 4. We hope you enjoy every game; win, lose or draw!

Whether it is your first time trying a new sport, or your 100th game, it is always positive to see our MLC students participate with 100% effort and pride.

BASKETBALL

IMPORTANT REMINDERS: As the days warm up, please ensure you come prepared to compete.

Eat a good lunch, have plenty of water throughout the day, and some energy food pre match is always a good idea too. Bring extra water to matches and don't forget your sunscreen and hats, particularly important for the sports played outside.

If you have not yet purchased your Basketball singlet, please do so ASAP. All students are expected to be wearing them for matches from next week on. It is a compulsory uniform item for all team members. PERFORMANCE OF THE WEEK Performance of the week is a shout out to the 5 students that represented MLC as members of the GSV Water Polo Team. They took on APS and were convincing winners with an 11 to 5 scoreline. Well done to Caroline Healy (Vice Captain), Annabelle White, Josephine Parcell, Darcy Houlihan, and Zoe McKenna.

It is also wonderful to see Caroline, Annabelle and Josephine helping coach our new JSS Water Polo teams this term! The Juniors are in good hands!
