TERMS & CONDITIONS
Payment terms: We will contact all winning bids and arrange a down-payment as soon after the closing date as possible. A 50% downpayment on your account is due at this time. We accept Visa, MasterCard, bank transfers, e-transfers or certified cheque. Remaining balance must be paid before cattle are moved to their designated pickup sites.
Wintering and Delivery: All yearling bulls in the sale are enrolled in the Olds College
Residual Feed Intake trial which ends in first week of February 2026 at which time they will be semen tested. Richardson Ranch will pay for all wintering costs including RFI test, semen testing, and delivery to your designated pickup spot in BC or you can pick your bull up from Olds College at that time.
The two year old bulls and open heifers will winter at Tlell at our cost until such time that we can arrange with the buyers and BC Ferries for a mutually agreeable date for Richardson Ranch to deliver these animals to either Olds, Alberta or a BC Livestock Yard in Vanderhoof or Williams Lake, as directed by the buyers choice at the time of downpayment. Balance of purchase accounts must be paid prior to the ferry sailing. Each animal purchased becomes the property of the buyer when it comes off our trailer at the designated delivery site and we advise you to acquire insurance on your purchases.
Semen Certificate: All bulls will be semen tested in the 60 days prior to delivery to their new owners. If a bull fails his semen test, your downpayment will be refunded 100%.

Delivery of cattle
We will be selling all cattle with delivery included to either Olds, Alberta, BC Livestock in Vanderhoof or BC Livestock in Williams Lake. It will be the buyers choice, at time of settlement, to elect where they will pick up their purchase. Richardson Ranch will transport the sale bulls, as directed by the buyers early in spring of 2026. Buyers will be notified in mid February when their bulls will be available for pickup at their chosen site.
