MEN’S WRESTLING RECORDS A PIECE OF COLLEGE WRESTLING HISTORY
From January 11, 2020, to March 6, 2023, Baterdene “Baagii” Boldmaa went undefeated in a Doane Wrestling singlet as he ran a win-streak of 100 consecutive matches. A transfer from Northwest Kansas Tech, Boldmaa wrestled at 141 for the Tigers and became the sixth wrestler in men’s collegiate history to reach 100 consecutive wins, just the third to do so in the NAIA.
Boldmaa won three NAIA National Championships, was the 2022 NAIA Wrestler of the Year, was named the NAIA Outstanding Wrestler of the Meet in 2020 and 2022, was a three-time GPAC Wrestler of the Year, and a four-time All-GPAC selection.

During his win streak, Boldmaa recorded 31 wins by pin, 30 by tech fall, 18 by decision, 13 by major decision, and eight by forfeit/injury. He defeated 32 ranked wrestlers during his win-streak including 18 that were ranked in the Top 10. Boldmaa was the No. 1 ranked wrestler at 141 for 22 consecutive weeks.
He finished his Doane career with a 116-3 record while going 163-12 between his two schools over five seasons, receiving an extra year of competition due to the COVID pandemic.
