There is a common misconception that eating healthy is either expensive or boring. While it's true that some vegetables require an acquired taste to be enjoyed, their sweetness is not the only factor. Take broccoli, for example. It can be perceived as bland, and the smile on your face may just be your way of convincing yourself that it's healthy. Some adults find it painful to plate their meals with broccoli. 1. OVEN ROASTED BROCCOLI

For this method, you will only need four additional ingredients: salt, pepper, olive oil, and lemon juice. If you enjoy spiciness, you may also want to add a little bit of red pepper flakes. Begin by preheating the oven to 400°F and lining a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a bowl, toss 4 cups of broccoli florets with 1 tbsp of olive oil, 1/4 tsp salt and pepper. Roast until the florets begin to char. Add a squeeze of lemon juice and serve warm.
