The modernization of digital media in combination with the actions of various architectural movements, has enriched the architectural vocabulary and the proposals for the configuration of the space (Ouggrinis, 2009).The present research thesis deals with the issue of the synthesis of similar modules in modular constructions. Initially, the different
interpretations of the terms are presented, the types of modular architecture are distinguished, its historical and theoretical context is pointed out, while the design and construction process of the structures is described. In addition, the reasons that contributed to the frequent adoption of modular techniques compared to the past are analyzed, the typologies of constructions based on certain criteria, their advantages and the reasons that do not favor their appl cation are underlined. Finally, a critical classification and study of certain constructions that consist exclusively of the synthesis of similar modules is carried out and useful conclusions are drawn
