Q1.1 Describe milestones in children’s holistic development from birth to 19 years.
Hint:- Please describe how children develop as they grow up and the changes they experience from birth to 19 years of age. Make sure you cover all aspects of SPICE development for this age range.

Q2.1 Explain how children and young people’s development is influenced by a range of biological factors.
Hint:- Please explain how children's development can be affected by different factors such as health, disability, genetics and the many other factors which can impact on development. Ensure you list and explain a minimum of 8 different factors which affect development.

Q2.2 Explain how children and young people’s development is influenced by a range of external factors.
Hint:- Please explain how children's development can be affected by different factors such as wealth, housing and transport. Please list and explain a minimum of eight different factors.

Q2.3 Explain how theories of development and educational frameworks influence current practice.
Hint:- Please explain the different theories from Piaget, Skinner, Maslow etc. ( describe the theory of a minimum of 5 different theorists).
You also need to include how their different theories are used in the school classroom.

Q3.1 Explain how to monitor children and young people’s development using different methods.
Hint:- Please explain how children's progress can be monitored by different methods in and out of the school. You should list a minimum of six methods and explain these methods in full.

Q3.2 Identify how other professionals and different types of interventions can promote positive outcomes for children and young people where development is not following the expected pattern.
Hint:- Please identify the specialists who you would refer children to if they were not following the expected pattern of development (e.g speech therapist, health worker etc) Ensure you list a minimum of 6 different professionals and explain how they help.
You should also identify any special equipment or learning aids that can be used for additional help.
