Dear Friends of the 5th Episcopal District,

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! We are excited that you are taking the time to celebrate with us in the Welcoming Reception and Celebration for our Bishop, the Rt. Rev. Francine A. Brookins, Esq. and our Episcopal Supervisor of Missions, Dr. Miriam Burnett J. Burnett, MD, MPH.

As the 5th Episcopal District of the African Methodist Episcopal Church has come together across several states to host our Episcopal Leadership, we are truly grateful for the time, support, and dedication of all persons who took the time to participate. This event promises to be a joyous time of fellowship, inspiration, and celebration as we gather to uplift and honor the current and future work of Bishop Brookins and Supervisor Burnett! They are both dedicated servants of God and we are excited to support their theme of Mental Health, Music and Missions.

To commemorate this special occasion, this Souvenir Journal is a glimpse of what is to come in the Faithful and Favored Fifth Episcopal District under the dynamic leadership of our Episcopal Team. With much prayer and support from across the states and around the world, we know that there are valuable partnerships and opportunities to advance the community and kingdom work to come.

Thank you for taking the time to share this moment of appreciation and celebration. This electronic souvenir booklet will be shared across the 5th Episcopal District1, which spans 16 States offering an excellent opportunity for businesses, organizations, and faith communities to show their support while gaining valuable visibility. Together let us continue to be a part of the work and our outreach efforts which is a continued mission of our leadership and the global community of the AME Church.
