Our Mission To offer academically talented, economically less advantaged children of diverse backgrounds a life-changing educational experience in grades 6-8, where they are empowered to reach their full potential. With the support of caring and dedicated teachers, students are introduced to an innovative yet challenging academic curriculum, strong core values, character development, and they learn to foster a sense of community. Upon graduation, our youngsters are well-equipped to become the leaders of tomorrow. De La Salle believes in a need-blind admissions process to ensure that students are evaluated based solely on their merits and not on their families’ ability to pay.

CLASS OF 2023 Graduation It's been about three months since graduating. During these three months, so much reflection has been done on my time at De La Salle Academy. Yet most of my reflection highlighted my experience as an eighth grader. That's when I got the “surreal” feeling that I was actually leaving De La Salle; however, I also thought of this: my expectations for myself grew. I knew I wanted to be more connected to my teachers and peers. My grade was fortunate enough to be the first grade to start the overnight retreat tradition again since Covid, and I could not have been more grateful for that opportunity. It allowed us to be more connected, and allowed us to feel safe enough to share about our empowering and personal moments we’ve experienced. It also allowed me to connect with my teachers in the way I never did in my past academic experiences. So many opportunities that De La Salle provided aided me throughout the summer, and my first week at highschool. De La Salle taught me how to be a leader, to never shy away from speaking, and so many more vital ideas and lessons that are needed to know as your venture on your journey in life. In continuing my life’s journey, graduating from DLSA meant closing a chapter and leaving my second home. Although I was so sad to leave the amazing community of teachers and students, I was so excited for the opportunities De La Salle opened me to. I used to devote so much time thinking about how sad I would be after graduation, but with De La Salle's open doors, I always feel as if I’m still a part of the community, even though I graduated. De La Salle is one of the most important places to me, and the people there are my family forever. I'm proud to say I am now a DLSA Alumni, and could not be more happy that I got to attend DLSA. — Ngawang Dhelawa '23
