PROMOTION Who we are Slamin Fatbeatz Media and Promotions (sfbmp.com) is a promotion company consisting of magazine, global internet and soon television. We are licensed by BMI, ASCAP and SESAC. We are affiliated with Radio Wave and Sound Exchange to help you get your royalties. We work with real artist who get real results.

We are competitive with most of the other companies. However; our prices are lower giving you the indie artist a chance at lower cost. Why we do this we believe in giving the Independent artist a chance to make money by running monthly promotions and fairly priced promotional packages.

Once you become a client with SFBMP with we consult with you weekly to make sure that you know how to track your spins, how many reporting stations are picking you up, help you understand your numbers and what your next step is. We never leave you out there we are just as excited about your success as you are.

Who Do We Service We service the independent artist who is serious about his/her career. In the beginning I went to bat for Independent artist who I felt were very talented, however; they were considered to be C artist by record labels and promoters. SFBMP built a platform for the artist wants a career in music.

How do we service We service your music through our industry contacts such a college radio, internet, FM, Club DJ’s and record pools.

BDS I’m sure through my e-mail blast you have heard this several times “BDS”. BDS stands for broadcast digital spins. These spins can be tracked so you the artist, can look with your own eyes, and see your numbers and what stations are playing you. Broadcast Digital Spins pays you royalties each time you spin. This is how it works. SFBMP plays your music every other hour so that is twelve spins per day. 12x 4 x7= 366 spins x30 days = 1098 spins at .50 per spin = $549.00 in 30 days. Now tell me does this have any value? Sure it does and just think, if you had one

Broadcast Digital Spins are artists’ bread and butter in conjunction with digital downloading. Many artist s are taking time to educate themselves and how they can benefit from “BDS”. There are unscrupulous people out there who understand the value and charge you the artist, astronomical prices that could really pay for a major campaign so artist “Beware”!

SFBMP departments SFBMP is growing very fast and we have established departments in our company. We are so swamped we had to get help. There are thousands of artist that would like to be aired on SFBR and we cannot take away from serious artist who are investing in their careers. We want to give everyone a chance to get their music played so we decided to add a podcast that will play artist who aren’t interested in advancing their careers. You will receive an e-mail stating where to submit your music. By doing this it will make it easier for SFBMP employees to sort through artist who want to press forward and those who just want to have the music played. I want to make it very clear that you will not receive royalties or promotions. You do not have to have your music tagged or anything just send it in and we will let it roll. We want to make everyone happy.

Payola What is payola? The bottom line is, payola happens when an artist or agent pays a DJ to have the artist music spun. I have been in this business for twenty six years the FCC, ASCAP, BMI and SEASAC would have my licenses which would result in a permanent suspension and possible jail time. SFBMP or its employee’s do not practice or participate in unscrupulous practices.
