The ‘Ten Rooms’ project focuses on preserving and celebrating indigenous cultural heritage through architectural design. By conducting extensive research within native communities, the project aims to create interactive spaces that honor and perpetuate ancestral knowledge, traditional practices, and architectural styles. These spaces serve as living archives, fostering cultural continuity and resilience for future generations.
As part of Robert F. Smith’s Southern Communities Initiative, you’ve been awarded a design residency in Tallahassee to help modernize technology at Historically Black Colleges and Universities. During the year-long residency, you’ll establish an architectural design atelier for collaboration with fellow researchers, focusing on graphics, spatial concepts, models, mixed reality presentations, and rapid prototypes. AI played a key role in optimizing design processes, generating options, and creating realistic renderings. The final structure will connect with the Dwellings Community for future neighborhood use, contributing to a cohesive, innovative urban development.

I love the satisfaction of crafting something with my hands. It’s about precision, attention to detail, and the pride that comes from creating something unique. Every piece reflects my skills, and the joy comes from seeing it all come together.
