The design ensures that similar types of plots have common spaces, creating a harmonious arrangement.
Linking the housing plots together helps neighbors interact more, making people feel closer and building stronger friendships in the community.
Green spaces follow a hierarchy, from small community areas between homes to larger spaces at nodes for activities and gatherings, ending at the central core. Site plan

The cluster housing design fosters community interaction through 14 units of 200sqm each. A hierarchy of open spaces begins with smaller courtyards inside, expanding to larger areas towards the cluster’s edge. The first floor features an open terrace with potential for future expansion. Linear building layout enables cross ventilation, aided by courtyards as buffer spaces.

The RSP focuses on redevelopment of the city Nuwara Eliya which is a hill station and was a british colonization earlier. The city expects more than 10,000 tourists every year which results in the requirement of building an identity of the city.
Located in Himachal Pradesh near Spiti Valley. We were supposed to document Key monastery which included the residence on monks and the temple. The RSP’s focus was to learn about vernacular materials, construction techniques and the way of living.
The RSP focuses on understanding the minimum use of spaces according to anthropometry, use of materials like wood and stone in construction and measure draw one of the house in Ahmedabad old city which is 100 years old.
