The following are the specifics of what it takes to become a CLDS™. There are FOUR convenient paths covering Data Science professionals from diverse backgrounds and experience to earn a CLDS™!

PATH 01
Required Minimum Mandatory Qualification
Must have an Associate Degree or Diploma or equivalent in any academic discipline, preferably STEM, and willing to learn Data Science.
Required Work Experience
At least six years of experience in any programming language; however, proficiency in using Python/R/JAVA or equivalent is desirable.
Path 02
Required minimum Qualification
Must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any academic discipline, preferably STEM, and willing to learn Data Science.
Required Work Experience
At least two years of experience in any programming language or engineering/finance/management /statistics, etc.
Path 03
Required minimum Qualification
Either completed or pursuing Master's Degree or equivalent in any academic discipline, preferably with STEM, and should be willing to learn Data Science.
Required Work Experience
Work experience is not required; however, basic proficiency in any programming language or Engineering/Finance/Management/ Statistics, etc. is desirable.
Path 04
Required minimum Qualification
Must have completed CDSP™ or other equivalent certification.
Required Work Experience
At least four years of experience for a candidate who has completed Associate Degree or Diploma or equivalent and one year of experience for a candidate who has completed bachelor's degree or equivalent.
