2022 is big for the data science enthusiasts. The global data science market size is expected to grow from USD 189 billion in 2019 to USD 274 billion by 2022, at a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 13.1% during the forecast period. Globally, according to IBM, around 28% of the total jobs in 2020 were data science jobs. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics says data science jobs are expected to grow by at least 19% by 2026. However, the current skill development rate for data science professionals stands at a slackened 14%. As of now, on an average, a data science job remains vacant for 45 days due to talent crunch.

THE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA Ways to Become a CLDS™ The following are the specifics of what it takes to become a CLDS™. There are FOUR convenient paths covering Data Science professionals from diverse backgrounds and experience to earn a CLDS™!

Required Minimum Mandatory Qualification

Required minimum Qualification

Must have an Associate Degree or Diploma or equivalent in any academic discipline, preferably STEM, and willing to learn Data Science.

Must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any academic discipline, preferably STEM, and willing to learn Data Science.

Required Work Experience

Required Work Experience

At least six years of experience in any programming language; however, proficiency in using Python/R/JAVA or equivalent is desirable.

At least two years of experience in any programming language or engineering/finance/management /statistics, etc.

Either completed or pursuing Master's Degree or equivalent in any academic discipline, preferably with STEM, and should be willing to learn Data Science.

Must have completed CDSP™ or other equivalent certification.
