Location: Netaji Shubash Chandra Bose Island South Andaman, India
The primary obstacle of this endeavor lay in the revitalization of Netaji Subash Chandra Bose Island, involving the transformation of a decrepit church into a meticulously refurbished boutique hotel. The project encompassed the creation of various cultural indoor and outdoor venues, including a restaurant, an outdoor café, and a ballroom. Each space was meticulously designed to uphold elevated standards for both guests and staff while preserving and incorporating historical elements into the structure, thereby ensuring a living connection to its past.
SITE ANALYSIS
Initially designated as Ross Island, NETAJI SUBHASH CHANDRA BOSE DWEEP Island served as the primary administrative hub for the British overseeing the Indian Penal Settlement within the Andaman Islands. Over time, Ross Island has become completely deserted, with the remnants of residential infrastructure persisting—comprising aged residences, a church, a marketplace, shops, a sizable swimming pool, and a modest hospital. However, these structures are gradually succumbing to the encroachment of untamed Ficus plant roots, reclaiming the bricks and gradually overtaking the once-established buildings.

The restaurant’s interior design showcases a captivating blend of elements, featuring hexagonal wooden tables, bar shelves, wooden stools, and intricate gothic detailing. The choice of hexagonal tables offers a unique geometric appeal while optimizing space usage, complemented by the warmth and rustic charm brought by the wooden materials. The presence of detailed ceiling fixtures and gothic-inspired designs contributes to an ornate and potentially dramatic ambiance, adding an elegant and historically nuanced atmosphere to the dining space. This amalgamation creates a sophisticated and memorable environment, ensuring a distinct and lasting impression on visitors.

I was assigned to create a new office in a luxurious building, aiming to match the client’s specific aesthetic preferences. The space available for this office was around 530 square feet, intended for 8 to 10 individuals. After thorough discussions with the client to understand their style and requirements, we successfully fulfilled all their needs. With the committed assistance of our execution team, we finished the entire project in under three months.

DESIGN CONCEPT
This design aesthetic draws inspiration from contemporary design principles, incorporating a palette of grays, beiges, and black and white. Additionally, we have creatively employed elements such as wainscoting, louvres, marbles, wallpapers, and mirrors to enhance the overall ambiance.

Splendor Spectrum marked my initial foray as a solo designer, albeit under the watchful guidance of my project manager. We faced the challenge of budget constraints, which necessitated meticulous deliberation when it came to the selection of elements for inclusion or removal. This was particularly crucial since the ceiling, flooring, and walls were all newly constructed. After a thorough evaluation of the space, our collective decision was to transform the featureless ceiling into the centerpiece of the design, imbuing the entire area with an inviting and opulent ambiance.

SpectrumOne, by Splendor Group, offers contemporary workspaces blending technology and creativity. Meticulously designed offices foster creativity with professionalism and privacy in mind. These buildings prioritize seismic safety and eco-friendliness, following green LEED guidelines. Located in Gurgaon’s Sector 58 extension, it’s surrounded by upscale residential projects like Hyatt Residency, Grand Arch by Ireo, Mahindra Lifespace, and more.

DESIGN CONCEPT
The commercial space’s design centered on the site’s new elements, such as wall partitions and flooring. Our aim was a minimalist reception area, featuring a color palette of beige, greys, whites, and blacks. To elevate the design, we incorporated CNC-cut fluted MDF, brass profiles, and stainless steel frames.

Splendour Spectrum Tower-1 is a commercial establishment situated in Gurugam,India. The design concept features beige marble tiles, a coved ceiling design that imparts the appearance of an elongated corridor, an entrance adorned with a minimalist concrete reception desk accented with brass elements, and a stainless steel partition behind the reception chair, serving as a barrier between the lobby and reception area. In the center, there is a substantial integrated planter, adding a touch of greenery to the space to keep it vibrant and inviting.

Splendor Tower 2 is located adjacent to Tower-1, allowing us to seamlessly blend the design themes of both towers while incorporating the existing exciting materials and ceiling elements. Overcoming the primary challenge of accommodating HVAC systems, beams, and sprinklers, we skillfully managed to restore the clear height to its optimal level, ensuring a harmonious and functional design.
Several 3D designs were created, with one specifically tailored to align with the theme of the Splendor-2 Tower reception area.

I was tasked with designing a brand new office located in an upscale building, and the challenge was to ensure that it met the client’s aesthetic preferences. The available carpet area for this office space was approximately 530 square feet, which was intended to accommodate 8 to 10 people at a time. After engaging in extensive discussions with the client to fully grasp their tastes and needs, we successfully addressed all their requirements. With the dedicated support of our execution team, we managed to complete the entire project in less than three months.

They develop fragrances in line with international trends and their discerning buyers’ needs. Simran Exports offers a wide range of fragrances, along with accessories such as incense and cone holders, oil burners in various materials, and a diverse collection of handicrafts. Simran excels in innovative packaging concepts created in-house, enhancing the visual appeal of their products, combining quality and creativity.
