Não é (de todo!) uma cara desconhecida do público. Depois do sucesso da sua personagem Soraia, na série juvenil Morangos com Açúcar, o talento de Rita Pereira nunca mais deu tréguas – e já lá vão dez anos. É o rosto de inúmeras campanhas publicitárias e tem-se sagrado na representação, tendo visto a telenovela Meu Amor (onde era Mel, a protagonista) vencer um Emmy. Embora a sua vida profissional não se cruze muitas vezes com Angola, Rita sentiu mais uma vez o carinho do público angolano – um público que já era seu fã e que faz questão de a receber da melhor forma possível, cada vez que a actriz visita o país – depois de aceitar ser a protagonista do videoclip de É Melhor Não Duvidar. Este é o single de lançamento do álbum Los Compadres, a estreia da dupla B4, formada por C4 Pedro e Big Nelo. O convite surgiu da forma mais natural possível. Amigos em comum, entre a actriz e os artistas, fizeram a ponte para esta colaboração, um prazer para Rita Pereira, que já tinha ouvido o hit em África, com a certeza que também seria um sucesso em terras lusas. Mas esta é apenas uma das (muitas) facetas de Rita Pereira. Além da moda e da representação, o seu talento passa também pela dança, a grande paixão da sua vida. Com apenas três anos começou a dançar, já tendo experimentado diferentes estilos – desde o ballet ao contemporâneo, passando pelo ragga e pelas danças africanas.

O seu talento nesta área foi conhecido pelo grande público no programa Dança com as Estrelas, da TVI, onde sentiu o carinho dos portugueses até ser forçada a abandonar, após uma lesão. Um sonho? Ser uma das bailarinas de Queen Bey: “Se eu pudesse ser, num concerto, uma das bailarinas da Beyoncé, ficaria muito feliz! Se ela me convidasse para ser uma das bailarinas dela... bem, eu acho que largava tudo e ia dançar!” Por enquanto, a actriz está de férias, pelo menos até ao final do Verão, altura em que começará a gravar uma nova novela em Portugal. Já a modelo não pára: em breve prepara-se para lançar um catálogo a nível internacional para a marca Oriflame, a par das restantes campanhas que representa. E por Angola, quem sabe? Talvez volte, mais cedo do que se espera...

A DREAM? DANCING FOR BEYONCÉ... "IF SHE WERE TO OFFER ME THE JOB... I WOULD GIVE UP EVERYTHING TO GO DANCE WITH HER!" Her face is not at all new to the public. Since her success playing Soraia in the Portuguese teen drama Morangos com Açúcar/ Strawberries with Sugar, Rita Pereira has not yet slowed down – not for the last 10 years, at least! She's appeared in many ad campaigns and she's also starred in the Emmy Award winning soap opera, Meu Amor. Although she hasn't had the chance to work very o en in Angola, she is welcomed there with open arms, every time that she does. She already had a loyal cadre of fans there, even before accepting the opportunity to play the lead role in this video. It's a single release from Los Compadres, the debut album from B4, a duo composed of C4 Pedro and Big Nelo. The offer came about as naturally as imaginable. The actress and the musicians had friends in common who brought them together for this project, which was a delight for Rita, who already knew the hit, from her travels in Africa. She was certain it would make a big impact back in Portugal as well. But acting is just one of the many facets of Rita's career. In addition to fashion and advertising, she simply loves dancing. She began when she was about three or four, trying out a range of different styles – from ballet to contemporary dance, with samples of ragga and African steps as well. Her talent in this area was recognised when she won the heart of the Portuguese audience, a er being forced to drop out of the dance contest Dança com as Estrelas/ Dance with the Stars on TVI, following an injury. A dream? Dancing for Queen Bey: “I would be so, so happy if I could be one of the dancers in a Beyoncé concert! If she were to offer me the job, I would give up everything to go dance with her!' Meanwhile, Rita, the actress, is taking a break, at least until the end of the summer when she'll begin shooting a new soap opera in Portugal. Rita, the model, doesn't stop, though: soon she’ll be preparing to shoot an international catalogue for Oriflame, in addition to the other campaigns that she's also involved in. And Angola? Who knows? Maybe she'll be back there, sooner than anyone could imagine...

QUEDAS DE KALANDULA É na província de Malanje, mais precisamente no rio Lucala, que podemos encontrar as Quedas de Kalandula, as segundas mais altas de África, com 105 metros de altura e 410 de extensão. O cenário é impressionante e, em dias de sol, quando os raios cruzam a névoa que rodeia as quedas, é possível observar um fenómeno natural de incrível beleza: dois arco-íris iluminam os pés das imponentes quedas. MORRO DO MÔCO Com 2620 metros de altitude, o Morro do Môco, na província do Huambo, é o ponto mais alto do país. O seu nome nasce de uma lenda: certo dia, um caçador perdeu a sua única faca – chamada 'omoko', em umbundo – e resolveu voltar atrás com alguns homens para a procurar. Nunca mais regressaram e, na aldeia, diziam que ‘se perderam à procura da faca’. A imensidão do morro é de uma fantástica beleza natural, que desperta a curiosidade dos turistas, dispostos a percorrer a encosta sinuosa para se deslumbrarem com a vista sobre todo o Huambo. Standing 2,620 metres high, in the province of Huambo, Môco Mountain is the highest point in the country. Its name comes from a legend, which says, that one day, a hunter lost his only knife – called omoko, in Umbundo – and decided to turn back with his group of men to search for it. They never returned and in their village, it is whispered that they 'got lost in the search for a knife'. The immense scale of the mountain is breathtakingly beautiful and is already attracting tourists eager to climb the sinuous face, in order to catch a perfect view over the Huambo province.
