cresceu – e a linha acaba por ser também uma homenagem à sua mãe. Devido às suas curvas acentuadas, Micaela sempre teve dificuldade em encontrar peças de banho que a fizessem sentir confortável. Então começou a trabalhar com uma designer portuguesa, a quem passou todas as suas ideias. Depois de muito trabalho, estava lançada a linha. Os objectivos? Que qualquer pessoa se sinta bem de fato de banho, bonita e sexy. O segredo é a alma do negócio, mas a actriz desvenda, para já, que a ‘Praia Morena’ marcará presença na próxima Mozambique Fashion Week, e que em 2014 haverá novidades. Por enquanto, Micaela Reis vai continuar a apostar na sua formação e pretende terminar a licenciatura em Ciências da Comunicação; nas férias, vai continuar a formação enquanto actriz, fora de Angola. Aos 24 anos, ainda não pode dizer que é uma mulher realizada: “Ainda tenho muita coisa, há muita coisa que quero fazer. Quero continuar a minha formação, crescer mais, fazer cinema, fazer mais televisão, mais projectos. Só quero que Deus me mostre o caminho a seguir e que se Ele achar que é por ali, eu vou por ali. Mas vou continuar a correr atrás dos meus sonhos, como é óbvio!”. Ano novo, vida nova. E 2014 será, certamente, cheio de novidades!

tress has revealed that the collection will be represented in the next coming Mozambique Fashion Week, and that there will be further news in 2014. Meanwhile, Micaela is going to continue her professional training. She intends to finish her degree in Communications. In her holidays, she keeps up her acting studies outside Angola. At 24, she cannot yet say that she has achieved all of her dreams: ‘I still have so, so much that I want to do. I want to continue studying, I want to continue growing, to do cinema, do more TV, more projects. I hope that God shows me the path to follow and that if He finds that is the way I should go, then that is where I will head, but I’m definitely going to continue chasing after my dreams, that’s for sure.’ New year, new life. 2014 will certainly bring in something to talk about!

The 41st annual International Emmy Awards took place at the Sofitel Hotel in New York. Amongst the nominees was the Angolan soap opera Windeck, which, although not bringing home the golden statue did earn enormous prestige and international recognition. Micaela Reis, Fredy Costa and other actresses and actors looked resplendent on the red carpet, together with many other members of the cast. It was an event to go down in the history of Angolan television.
